  1. Sweet! Maybe my offseason prediction (that Jauron will be fired midseason) has a chance at being accurate! Bring on Coach Bobby April.
  2. The one thing I know for sure about this game.... WATCH IT WITH THE SOUND OFF!!! I can already hear the Brady* Ballwashing from the crew on MNF, "Brady's back, Brady's back"
  3. I saw that too, on Sportscentre. That's the kind of thing that makes me HATE the CFL. When people give me crap about being a Bills fan instead of a CFL fan, I point to Sh@#t like this! That and the crappy 3 downs, Run, Pass, Punt (and repeat)
  4. A little harsh, don't you think Dog? Oh wait its 2 months before the season... this is to be expected! As you were.
  5. I'll stand by my original prediction 2 months ago, I predicted that Skeletor gets replaced by Bobby April somewhere around midseason and has an incredible run and leads us to the playoffs as a wildcard. The interim tag is lifted and April is the Head Coach of the Bills in 2010.
  6. Neither do you, obviously! My question as stated above asks if anyone has knowledge of this behaviour (passing out in a public or televised forum) before or since, and how it could affect the enshrinement in August. Seriously, some of you people on this board are rediculously predictable in your responses! If you don't know the answer to a question, simply say "I don't know".
  7. So I'm watching BDSSP, and they're doing one of their Top 50 Sports Bloopers shows, at #13, or #14 they show Bruce being interviewed by a host I didn't recognize, on some show SBTV!?! The guy asks Bruce a question, and suddenly the big man just passes out, hits the floor, with his hands still in his pockets!! I know it was an old clip because the host was asking Bruce a question about Flutie being the starter... does anybody remember this happening at the time? Even more importantly, do any of you recall seeing Bruce speaking in public recently (on T.V. or live) This would be a disaster if it were to happen again at the HOF ceremonies.
  8. I feel exactly the same way, I've been a member here since 2003. I read alot of posts but don't respond very often unless I am (in my mind) contributing in some way. Canbuffan34 is now actually Canbuffan40
  9. Trent Edwards is a better QB than JP Losman... uh, never mind.
  10. I know what you are saying Dean, the funny part is that last year MF didn't name Jason Peters as a factor because of holdout, he didn't seem to know who Peters was! He simply stated that "a solid LT was one of the positions we needed to address".
  11. 7-9 for us this year. Rich Eisen asks him "so Marshall, for all the e-mailers in western New York, what do you think the Bills record will be this year?" The funny part is, he said it was because they got rid of a probowl LT even though last year he predicted 3-4 wins because LT was one of the positions we needed to address. I like Total Access but these players turned analysts really make me
  12. Sorry Buftex, I thought you were referring to the Colts game where Flutie replaced RJ.. I guess it happened so often I got my games mixed up
  13. You're absolutely right about this except it was a game against the Colts, not the Chargers.
  14. The sales of those tickets and suites WERE a direct result of Flutie's play at that time! Please tell me you're not that obtuse to realize this? The Bills stadium lease was up for renewal at the time, the sudden excitement and buzz created by Flutie, Moulds et. al kept this team here!
  15. Good job! This could be the most well thought out, articulate and concise thing I've read on this board in years. BRAVO, Sir!
  16. He does use the word "hope" alot doesn't he? As in, I HOPE I don't have to make an in-game adjustment, or I HOPE I can convince ol' Ralphie that its the players that are losing games for us, and not me.
  17. That "dwarf" is the reason you are a Buffalo Bills fan instead of a Los Angeles Bills fan, show a little respect for the man who saved this franchise.
  18. Thank You! I can't stand RJ apologists that say "We were leading when RJ left the field" People can say what they want about Flutie, he should have started that game!
  19. The definition of stupidity: Doing the same things over and over again while expecting different results. 7-9, 7-9, 7-9,....... My prediction for this team in 2009-2010 (under Jauron) 7-9
  20. "Up and coming" Now that's funny! He had one good preseason game against the Giants and Ralph gave him 25 million dollars! I appreciate everything RW has done over the years to keep this team in Buffalo, but lets be honest, Ralph has made so many stupid moves ie: letting Polian go, GM hires etc. choosing RJ over Flutie was beyond senility!
  21. BLAH BLAH BLAH... Bobby April will be the HC next year and return us to respectability!
  22. Are you kidding me? Flutie is the number 1 reason why our team still resides in Buffalo! The stadium lease was up at the time, and it looked like it wasn't going to be renewed. Fortunately for all of us, Flutie, Moulds and Price were providing some of the most exciting games in franchise history and led to such overwhelming support, the deal got done! Unfortunately for us, that "one game wonder" RJ, had a brilliant (albeit meaningless) game against the colts which led Ralph to order him the starter against the Titans. Coincidentally (or not) we haven't had a playoff game since!
  23. I vehemently disagree!! I would rather watch a Bills preseason game than watch the Grey Cup, and I'm a Canadian. I can't stand Canadian football! It blows more than just D, it blows O and ST's.
