  1. $1.5 million more.
  2. I'm happy how it turned out.
  3. We've not really swung.
  4. Time to add a veteran CB. WR is the move at 25.
  5. We're not. That doesn't include a lot of things.
  6. Can't predict it but yeah there's going to be dead cap with this deal most likely in 2024 or 2025. There's ways to offset that dead cap. The easiest way will be converting Josh Allen base salary into bonus. It'll create all the cap room needed to cover any potential dead cap from Von Miller. The Bills are in great shape cap wise as of now. We don't know what happens in the future.
  7. Let's put it this way, the cap is real. NFL contracts aren't real.
  8. Depends on numbers imo. They might not bring in anyone else. They might keep 6 DE's like last year.
  9. The easiest way to view cap space is it’s like a line of credit. You don’t want too much debt that you’re unable to pay it off. The Bills were in position to push money into the future.
  10. Not selling out yet. If we sign another big contract then yes. We've got room for this.
  11. Here's 2020 highlights before the injury. He was going to have a huge year.
  12. I think the opposite. His finesse style will add years. But there's no way to predict how the body will hold up as he ages.
  13. It's definitely a go for it contract but look at the money dumped for Addison, Murphy, Lotulelei, Butler, and Jefferson. A lot of average to below average players. I'm willing to bet our DL cap hit is still about the same as its been the last couple years, maybe less.
  14. They had Gronk and Brate. He was off to a great start with Brady before the injury in 2020. He was mostly a blocking TE last year.
  15. Reggie White was 32 when Green Bay signed him. Had 68 sacks in 6 years for Green Bay.
  16. Haden is such a perfect fit.
  17. It's actually simple. Bonus money can be spread out over the length of the contract. Base salary can't. Base salary can be converted into bonus money and spread out. So you can keep doing it but there's a risk. Once the player you keep kicking cap down the road for starts to decline you start to get into trouble. I mean the Saints cleared like $80 million in cap without cutting anyone. Owners don't like giving out all that bonus money.
  18. If they wouldn't give Levi $4 million they must have a plan. Patrick Peterson is a possibility.
  19. It's the same contract as Chandler Jones but with cap pushed back. So 2 years from now there will be a high cap hit but there ways to work around it. Josh Allen has huge base salaries. The easiest way to clear cap in 2024 and 2025 will be to convert those base salaries to bonus cash. Plus the TV money will boost the cap a lot. In other words don't worry about the cap numbers.
  20. This contract is the Chandler Jones contract on steroids. Pay no attention to 6 years or $120 million. It's basically 3 years for $52 million or so.
  21. My guess is backup QB will be signed in the summer.
  22. Can't wait to see the breakdown. I don't believe the contract is much different than the Chandler Jones deal, just longer. The final years probably easy outs. My guess is its technically 3 years and a little more than Jones contract.
