  1. This is a key thing that kind of gets lost in the McD conversation - he was adamant to build a team that could run and play in bad playoff weather and he has done it (and was criticized by many over the course of doing so bc they felt it was stupid to take the ball out of Josh's hands and not just have the greatest show on turf)
  2. That onside was such a stressful play - thinking about the ball/field being slick, the fact if Ravens recover they likely kick game winning FG with no time left with Josh once again leaving field with lead and never getting ball back, and thoughts of another unthinkable way to lose a game - raises my blood pressure just thinking about it
  3. It's CRAZY to me how many people don't realize this. Not just luck, but also single game changing penalties or plays. If you look at the entire run of the Patriots 'dynasty' there would be well over a dozen single penalties (mostly this), turnovers, missed plays by opponents that allowed them to win playoff games - if any one of them doesn't happen in multiple games they have no 'dynasty' It is NOT just having a great QB or coach - so many things have to line up
  4. Yes - I was going to add at least the "Ravens were the better team, they should have won" is more disrespect fuel for the team this week. Josh's post-game comments on being disrespected were out of character - if he is saying that you know it is a real thing in the locker room
  5. Pretty sure one of them also said Lamar was the best player on the field. It's obvious the pro Lamar-MVP talking heads are going to push the narrative Lamar played great and it wasn't his fault to cover their takes. Still waiting for all the ones who said "whoever wins this game is the MVP" - I'm sure they'll be walking that back now. And now every show will be plastering Allen 0-3 in playoffs against Mahomes - and NEVER say "but Josh played great and it wasn't his fault"
  6. Thats actually a ton of pressure on Moorman to make that kick ('In Difficult Conditions') - if he misses the whole bit is ruined
  7. On the subject of turnovers/takeaways - it should not be lost how incredible all our skill position players have been to NOT have turnovers. It's been preached both ways, and truly remarkable they had only had 8 all year, and none in playoffs when tough conditions become a factor. In a game like today, just one turnover by a Bills rb or wr in tough conditions could have cost the game despite the takeaways. Also - coaching deserves credit for the emphasis on this and the successful execution
  8. Thank God we will be rid of another excruciating "Opposing fan coming in peace to talk football!" Hopefully after next week we will exterminate the KC cockroaches on this board once and for all
  9. NFL GameDay tripping over themselves to say how good Lamar played, loss wasn't his fault etc. Also basically said Ravens are better team but 'turnovers are the great equalizer'
  10. My son is super superstitious and when I got up and started pacing around in 2nd half when Ravens started coming back he started giving me dirty looks til finally I realized he wanted me to sit back down - so even though it almost killed me, I returned and stayed planted on the couch the rest of the game for him 😛
  11. Same - once they got past 50 yd line I was actually thinking ok have them score quick and give the ball back to josh
  12. So many talking heads this week just completely discounting guys out first game - Bart Scott esp on Get Up doubling down wouldn't matter who Bills have no way they stop Henry - actually laughed. Smug aholes. Can't wait ("Can't Wait!") to see what they say this week. Also - how many i heard say that whoever wins this game deserves MVP. Are the same people going to crown Josh this week? Also assuming Lamar wins this year it would have to be impossible if he is in a close race next year to give it to him after another playoff fail this year wouldn't it?
  13. It was crazy the dropped 2 pt conversion ended up almost making it more stressful for me. If he catches it at least Josh has 1:30 to get them in fg range - worst case go into OT. If Ravens somehow recover onside on slippery snow covered field due to missing 2 pt conversion, they no doubt run clock down and kick game winning fg with time run out and Josh never gets the ball back
  14. So everyone did the winning qb was mvp correct?
  15. Recover recover recover recover the onside
  16. Let them score and let Josh get the ball?
  17. Gdamn they could run Henry down the field now if they wanted
  18. Cmon- complimentary football - not best night for offense, now defense can step up and win the game
  19. Do more of the roll out - let Josh find the guy or go superman with his legs
  20. Just to the freaking 4x1 every freaking time
