The Bills sucking has NOTHING to do with Brady or Belichick!! There are two other teams in our division, the Jets and Dolphins, two other lousy organizations that we can't seem to outperform either. Also, they have this thing called the wild card which the Bills haven't even had a sniff at for almost 20 years.

It was a good loss for the draft, the most exciting day of the year for the past 17 seasons.

Bills bought a penny stock in the first round and are still paying for it. I don't think he'd even make a roster as a backup

Rex Told Lynn That Lynn Would Be The Next Head Coach
Wiz replied to birdo67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What has Lynn done to prove he's a good offensive coordinator let alone a HC?? Apparently he has impressed the Pegula's with his what?? His personality?? Isn't that why they hired Rex... I just hope they don't hire him because of his skin pigmentation. -
Football Outsiders - Bills D is now ranked 21st overall
Wiz replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is why they are dysfunctional and have communication problems. Different coaches handling different field situations???!!! I don't know how other teams do it, but it sounds f'd up to me. I like him too, but I'd take an a-hole like Belichick who knows how to win in a heartbeat. -
Football Outsiders - Bills D is now ranked 21st overall
Wiz replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't he bring his brother and others to handle the D?? The Bills haven't adapted to Rex's D because they were very good before he showed up. If they were a bad defense under Schwartz, the new scheme would be an easy sell, but they were a top 5 defense. It's like at work if your unit is performing very well and a new manager shows up and says, "No, no, no. We need to change directions." It just doesn't work. Rex should have allowed Schwartz to hang around. Whaley and the Pegula's should have known that Rex had a very different defensive philosophy and never hired him in the first place as the defense was the only strength of the team. -

Medical/Training staff needs to be held accountable or FIRED
Wiz replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How about the training staff giving Shady the ok to play this Sunday or giving Dareus the ok to practice off a long layoff?? -
Yes, they actually helped the corners and it made all the difference in the world!!! It only took Rex four whole quarters of getting smoked by Fitzy to figure that out. I guess they had to look at the film. I'm happy with today's game, but their defense is either sink or swim because their coaches are incapable of making any in game adjustments that are obvious to EVERYBODY watching.

I blame the security guard who wouldn't allow Rex to leave the building. He should be fired immediately!!! But for him, Rex would be terrorizing the Falcon organization.

Ed Reed Saw Confusion and Lack of Effort in 2015 Film

Sean Payton on Ryan: "We really struggled with substitutions, getting lined up, getting our guys the defensive call and being able to function." Where have I heard that before? He's the solution???? -
Quote pulled from a pretty good read on the Browns passing on him at #6. I remember feeling the pain when he was picked just before us and we ended up with Losman. Mike Mularkey, former Buffalo Bills head coach: "We were going to take him at 12. Thanks for reminding me." http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2016/story/_/id/15232563/the-day-browns-passed-big-ben

Do you think the Bills a well managed football team?

How about a king or perhaps a duke? -
Momentum will gain steam after the next couple of weeks and he will be gone. BTW, that's "The Wiz's" post about facebook, not mine.

I don't see how the Bills can keep Rex because of the following: 1-Rex over-promised and under-performed badly. 2-He has undoubtedly lost the defensive personnel. Right or wrong(I believe they're right), they don't believe in his scheme. Don't think that Mario is speaking only for himself. 3-They'll have to re-tool the defensive personnel to suit Rex's scheme while a different coach took the very same players and made them one of the best in the league last year. Makes no sense. 4-Rex has lost the fans. Regardless of how much they will have to pay Rex to go away, by keeping him there will be very few kool-aid drinkers/season ticket buyers. I know I've been a Jim Jones follower season after season and am feeling like a fool.

I think he'd have a suspension to serve first for the hit and run.
-
Sorry, but the fat lady has sung. For the next five weeks, this team has to overcome too many variables. They not only have the team on the other side of the field, but Rex's horrible defensive game planning and game time decisions not to mention the shi%$y refs. I say they go 3-2 or 2-3.

If Cassel plays decently, is that it for Whaley?
Wiz replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please!!! The very title makes bills fans sound like morons. -
A lot of the key penalties were absolute bull ****!!!

I don't care how talented they are when you throw three rookies together on your offensive line, an nfl d-coordinator with three pro bowlers on his line would totally exploit it. Rex and Thurman got their asses handed to them today.
-
That's the most disturbing thing about this game. This defense was probably THE best in the NFL especially over the last 5-6 games last season leading the league in sacks. But, Rex knows better and blew up their old system for his superior one. Well, I can't remember the last time the defense played this bad!! We're talking historically bad statistically. And, no Brady and company aren't THAT f'ing good. They were rotating three f'ing rookies on their o-line for Christ's sake!!!

Is anyone else worried about what we are seeing on D
Wiz replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rex was schooled by Belichick as usual. He didn't have any answers, no halftime adjustments. Enough of the Brady worship, his throws were mostly short and intermediate high percentage throws. Rex was flumoxed. NE was also able to run the ball when they felt. -
EJ as Evaluated by FSU fans - Caution: pretty brutal

It's those floaters they reference that got him benched last season. He kept hanging his receivers out to dry--almost getting them killed. -
