  1. Hard to blame the D when the offense can't sustain any drives and they're out on the field all afternoon.
  2. Yeah, we were never in the game cause of our qb play. They knew ej couldn't lead flies to manure.
  3. How about Watkins waiving at the ball EJ floated to him at the end of the game with two DB's bearing down on him?? After EJ did the same to Goodwin, ya think the WR's are frustrated with EJ???
  4. Wiz

    Utopia

and his first victim is the 6' ,180 lbs of twisted steel and sex appeal.
  5. I'm feeling great about this win, but eating crow?? Not so fast!!! It IS just one game. We've been down this path with teams and qb's we thought had turned the corner. But right now, I'm thrilled.
  6. I can't wait to not watch this show!!
  7. His selection for the HOF is largely for being one of the original founders of the AFL and he is deserving of accolades for that. As far as running a franchise since the merger, he was a miserable failure.
  8. Wilson was one of the worst owners in NFL history. Not moving the franchise is one of the few good decisions he ever made.
  9. My favorite "gaffe," as defined as an embarrassing remark, was Ralph saying he had to sell a couple of his Monet's to sign Andre Reed to an extension. Talk about a rich, out of touch a-hole.
  10. EJ aside, I would like to know why this team refuses to draft QB's in the early to mid rounds. That's the reason we never have depth at the position. Who knows, maybe a QB taken outside of the first round would work out to be a "franchise qb", i.e. Russell Wilson, Kaepernick. Even the Patsies pick up qb's in the draft!!! You're going to turn to name calling??? Please, "The Dean", it's not befitting your title!!! I'm not going to stoop to your level with all of your "hate.". And, by the way, Dean, it's "wasted." .
  11. I hate the pick, not the player. Until EJ proves himself a solid starter, he's gonna be criticized so get used to it.
  12. These days you can't criticize anybody without being a "hater." It's designed to shut people up who disagree. I believe EJ is a great guy who is very humble and a true gentleman. However, performance wise, I see a guy who is still staring down his receivers. After the snap, you and the defense knows exactly where he's throwing the ball!!! It's frustrating to watch.
  13. Three wasted years waiting on a QB to prove beyond any doubt they can start in the NFL. Meantime, in the interest of not creating a "quarterback controversy" we pass on other opportunities to pickup ANY QB earlier than the 7th round or UDFA's. Graham was the player we traded back into the 3rd round to get instead of Russell Wilson
  14. I'd take a couple of empty beer cans and some used chewing gum over our latest three year mistake.
  15. What's with all the moralizing???!!! If Jon Bon Jovi bought the bills and moved them to Toronto, how many on this board would be calling for his hide?? EVERYBODY!!! Pissing on his grave??? Yeah, I'd be a pretty old man by then, but I would happily relieve myself on his tombstone.
  16. I disagree, last year the good defenses we played had no respect for EJ's ability to make the throws down field and stacked the box. This was a big reason that Spiller's big play ability disappeared in a lot of games. Even if we have the best receiving corps in the league, our passing game will be lousy if we don't have a QB that can deliver the ball. Our defense should be good, but we're not talking 85 Bears or Ravens of the late 90's. I just hope that EJ stays healthy this year. Based on what I saw of him last year, he is indecisive, lacks accuracy, is unable to anticipate his receivers breaks and has poor pocket presence. Based on the long list of QB's we've had with similar problems as rookies, I believe the likelihood he will overcome them is very small. The difference is that EJ has great running ability which can mask these flaws, but is also a reason he is injury prone. I want EJ to have every opportunity to prove himself, yea or nay, so the Bills can stick with him or begin thinking about a backup plan. An injury will keep the team and fans in a holding pattern for another year to find out if he is our "franchise quarterback."
  17. Whitner is completely delusional about his talent level. He is an average safety. To me he is, and always be, just another horrible early pick by the Bills.
  18. Hey dork, the term redskin refers to the red war paint they put on their faces.
  19. Who's the tool?? How bout the clown to the left and those such as yourself who worship him.
  20. Throw all those stats out the window. I saw with my own eyes that the guy sucks. He's injury prone. His accuracy sucks. His anticipation sucks. His ball placement sucks. His pocket awareness sucks. We're stuck with him, though. Next season will be another waste because of him. Guaranteed!!
  21. If he was picked in the 4th round, where he should have been, then we'd have used a mid round pick to get an adequate back up qb which is all that EJ will ever be.
  22. Manuel is not a NFL caliber starting qb and never will be for reasons well documented. My only question is can the Bills blame Nix for the bad pick and move on in the next draft to take a genuine NFL caliber qb in the first round?
  23. Manuel IS a franchise qb for a very bad franchise. It's a perfect fit. If they compound their mistake by skipping on a legitimate first round qb in this draft, I will be even more emotionally detached from this team if that were actually possible. Don't blame the line. The defense knows he can't hit the long ball, so they just pin their ears back and go after him.
  24. Manuel will have ups and downs for the next three years showing great promise one week and remarkable ineptitude the next. He will ultimately prove himself incapable of contributing enough to make this an exceptional offense. He will also miss numerous games every year because of injury. We will again be shopping for a qb in three years in the meantime we will lose many of our defensive talent. It's the Bills' way.
