I believe Moroone when he says he didn't realize his best pass rusher was out for most of the second half. He was mic'd up against KC and he sounds like a complete imbecile. After Brown's fumble out of the end zone, he said "Er, uh, we ust lost seven points, right...right?" I digress. Moroone spends all his time working with Hackoff in developing the brilliant offensive game plans and play calling we see on Sundays and has NOTHING to do with the defense. That explains Hackoff's arrogance about his offensive prowess (if the HC is ur buddy and you work with him every week on the offense, why worry???).

I hate to rain on this parade, but history shows that all this optimism is a good indicator that the Bills will respond with a big let down. Our pass defense has looked great against teams with qb's with accuracy issues. Many of our int's have been the result of errant passes and not great coverage. I'm afraid that i see Manning carving up our D. Even if our D were to play well and Manning struggles, Marone's dysfunctional offense will founder against a very good Denver defense. Denver will win comfortably. Hope I'm wrong.

Bring leather helmets back. Seriously, they won't be able to use them as weapons.Players would have to go back to fundamental blocking and tackling.

That's why I feel hopeless about this team. On the Miami blitzes, we had no answer...nothing!! It was almost as if we surrendered the plays. Hackett/Marrone had no answers. Am I right or was it Orton's fault for not checking out of the play?? Either way...hopeless!!

Don't forget, EJ's benching had as much to do with keeping our wr's healthy. He was hanging them out to dry. Watkins quit on a limp wristed throw cause he knew he was gonna get killed to gain 5 yards on a 3rd and 15. Woods was every bit as disgusted.

Anybody watching the Bills performance this past weekend in which they thoroughly dominated the opposition, but let them linger around until the fourth quarter would understand the lack of respect for the Bills.

His simplistic response suggests that the stupid fans want the team to abandon the run. Nobody is suggesting anything of the sort, but rather to not run the same plays on first and second down for six consecutive possessions!!!! How about trying a counter or a sweep???? How about getting a little crazy and running a play action on second down??? At the very least he ought to acknowledge that they may need to mix it up a bit, but he instead shows his unwarranted cockiness saying "I love it" and brags about the points they put up on a one win team that committed six turnovers.

Hack-it loves the criticism from the fans? Sounds awfully smug for a guy who is yet to prove himself and kind of disrespectful. His explanation for his ineffective strategy, “I want to be able to run the ball and that’s something I push towards them because I think it creates a toughness with our guys” sounds like that of an ignoramus and not an offensive wiz kid.

While I didn't agree with the pick because I knew EJ wouldn't be able to throw the ball down the field with any accuracy, I still believe that Watkins will pay off in the long run after we get a real qb to get him the ball.

Hard to blame the D when the offense can't sustain any drives and they're out on the field all afternoon.

How about Watkins waiving at the ball EJ floated to him at the end of the game with two DB's bearing down on him?? After EJ did the same to Goodwin, ya think the WR's are frustrated with EJ???

I'm feeling great about this win, but eating crow?? Not so fast!!! It IS just one game. We've been down this path with teams and qb's we thought had turned the corner. But right now, I'm thrilled.

I can't wait to not watch this show!!

His selection for the HOF is largely for being one of the original founders of the AFL and he is deserving of accolades for that. As far as running a franchise since the merger, he was a miserable failure.

Wilson was one of the worst owners in NFL history. Not moving the franchise is one of the few good decisions he ever made.

My favorite "gaffe," as defined as an embarrassing remark, was Ralph saying he had to sell a couple of his Monet's to sign Andre Reed to an extension. Talk about a rich, out of touch a-hole.

EJ aside, I would like to know why this team refuses to draft QB's in the early to mid rounds. That's the reason we never have depth at the position. Who knows, maybe a QB taken outside of the first round would work out to be a "franchise qb", i.e. Russell Wilson, Kaepernick. Even the Patsies pick up qb's in the draft!!! You're going to turn to name calling??? Please, "The Dean", it's not befitting your title!!! I'm not going to stoop to your level with all of your "hate.". And, by the way, Dean, it's "wasted." .

I hate the pick, not the player. Until EJ proves himself a solid starter, he's gonna be criticized so get used to it.

These days you can't criticize anybody without being a "hater." It's designed to shut people up who disagree. I believe EJ is a great guy who is very humble and a true gentleman. However, performance wise, I see a guy who is still staring down his receivers. After the snap, you and the defense knows exactly where he's throwing the ball!!! It's frustrating to watch.

Three wasted years waiting on a QB to prove beyond any doubt they can start in the NFL. Meantime, in the interest of not creating a "quarterback controversy" we pass on other opportunities to pickup ANY QB earlier than the 7th round or UDFA's.
