  1. Nope. I actually am willing to give the players and coaches a chance before i call for the tar and feathers. Sure, we lost or will lose some big components of our defense. But, newsflash. it wasnt very good to begin with. What you arent taking into account is that we have rookies who are going to get better, and we are letting go of an older player who is going to decline. Clements will hurt, but no way do we pay him 80 million. We still have the rest of FA and the draft to improve ourselves. I'm sure Angelo Crowell is at the very least capable of making 100 tackles 5-7 yards downfield, like fletch. ITs amazing how many people B word here about the OL,and then when we sink money into the OL, they B word that we didnt keep clements.
  2. THIS will help you get through the offseason. Ahhh, gotta love the old "i go to the games, so i know more than you" posts. By the way, you pay all the money for tix just to look at bryce Paup's dick?
  3. David Carr didnt limit Andre Johnson's production last season. Moulds was great here as a Bill, but he's old and washed up now. He's got very limited speed, cant get separation, and no longer gains any yards after the catch.
  4. I hope he sticks with something like chicken. I dont want a $40 steak using up more of our cash to the cap.
  5. Not to inject facts here, but anyone actually READ UP on walker? He voided the final year on his rookie contract. To me, that says he got sick of oakland and wanted a better team, NOT that oakland didnt want him back. Now back to your regularly scheduled pissing and moaning.
  6. you owe me a new keyboard...wow, i needed that laugh on a friday.
  7. The ACC is 9 deep this year. UNC, Duke, BC, Virginia, Va Tech. Maryland are all locks. Ga Tech, FSU, and Clemson all can make a claim at an at-large spot, provided they finish 7-9 in conference and win an ACC tourney game.
  8. We'll need to see how good of an interviewer you are first. Also, we are unsure of your performance at the senior bowl. We had expected you to be able to bowl a 165 and defeat Beatrice, but your 144 was lackluster. And rumors have been swirling that you initially gave your interview for "Buns and Ammo". One of our personnel scouts, Tim Hardaway, pointed this out as a serious character flaw. Care to comment?
  9. I thought i heard a rumor about dockery visiting, but i cannot find anything to verify it. Anyone got the info?
  10. Since you lack the necessary intelligence to even have a halfway realistic debate, i'll resort to something more on your level of intelligence...name calling.
  11. Good safeties arent freely available, not with the changing demands. Rattle off some of these big game breaking safeties that could have been had in recent years. Off the top of my head, Darren Sharper is the only one i can think of. The most reatrded arguement i've heard is that "whitner would have been worth it at #15, but not at #8." Whitner is a good player, and who knows how great he'll end up being. When it comes down to it, you want good players, not good "draft value".
  12. yup. the guy can play any position on the OL. Thats kind of backup/depth is key. It allows oyu to carry an extra roster spot at some other position.
  13. Thanks. Because of this, do you know how long i waited for my egg mcmuffin this morning?
  14. Moulds average less than 10 yards per catch last year. Thats absolutely horrible for a starting WR. Its less than many TE's. Give it up already. Bledsoe's gone and he isnt coming back. And neither of them are good anymore.
  15. Since everyone is panicking, can someone answer this simple question... WHATS WRONG WITH SIGNING A VETERAN OL WHO CAN PLAY EVERY SINGLE POSITION ALONG THE O-LINE? Christ, some of you need to take some ritalin and calm down. Its not like we announced he was the only OL we are bringing in and he's starting or anything.
  16. sportscenter had a segment on these 2 not too long ago. it was great, and these 2 are and have been the best of friends for a while. Springs son, CB shawn springs, offered his kidney (he was the only match from the immediate family), but his dad said no, you need to play football.
  17. :w00t: thats phenominal.
  18. sorry to hear that. they've been calling for it to hit us here in tallahassee all day. people are absolutely freaking out down here, but it looks like its going to hit north of of us.
  19. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft07/colu...&id=2780030 Its a good read. puts a lot of things into perspective as to why more and more safeties are being selected higher and valued higher.
  20. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/C/COU...EMPLATE=DEFAULT Next time you get a check from the big guy up above, make sure it's valid.
  21. just a brief aside...read any major paleoclimatological study done, and they almost exclusively say that we are in a warming trend now in relation to past climate. Theres a nice little cycle that repeats, containing roughly 90,000 years of cooling followed by 10,000 years of warming. A lot of studies seem to think we are nearing the end of the warming phase as well. **i can get the sources for these, because i know 1 moron, check that, poster, who will question the sources and claim they are wrong. The girlfriend has been doing a paleoclimatology paper, and theres over 20 books/papers sitting on our table at home. Sorry tho, no wikipedia link.
  22. per buffalobills.com http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4638 Like usual, no terms announced, just says it was a multi-year deal instead of tendering him an RFA offer.
  23. I'd say take Levi Brown. Cant really go wrong with 2 solid bookend tackles for the forseeable future. Then we can grab an MLB in round2, as there are a lot of very good late 1st/early 2nd MLB prospects, including FSU's Buster Davis.
  24. do all roy jerseys come with an autographed greg louganis photo?
  25. She's from Miami...they dont hold English too highly down there.
