Moulds gives some lip as he goes out the door.
Ramius replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So first losman hindered moulds, then carr hindered moulds...perhaps its really Moulds thats on the severe decline and not as good as he's been? methinks thats correct. -
that line is sig-worthy...

Decided against renewing the season tickets today
Ramius replied to generaLee83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ok, you claim to be a bills "fan", but you dislike the team, hate the direction its going, and refuse to watch them or spend any money on them until they are good. To me, that sounds like the textbook definition of a bandwagon fan. -
Did we OOOOVERPAY for Chris Kelsay?
Ramius replied to firstngoal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how is a 4 yr deal for $10 mil stupid? his cap hit will be slightly over 2 million. I think PP is worthless, and want him replaced, but his contract wasnt that bad at all. -

picking up a stray wireless signal fro under the overpass? Or did you find a new box to live in after you "bet the house" on indy -7 over buffalo. Also, i thought you were too busy golfing on sunday afternoons to waste your time with this team? -

I dont have money to burn. i try to make it to a home game every year, so long as the bills are in town when i am home for xmas. If he decided not to renew because tickets were too expensive for him, so be it, thats fine. But when you come on here whining like a little B word that you dont like the Bills and are going to throw a temper like a 4 year old and cry..."waaaaah, i'm not gonna renew my tickets, take THAT buffalo.", thats where you draw the line between a true fan and a bandwagoner. -

dont let the door hit ya on the way out... friggin fairweather bandwagon fans -
If he really got 13 mil, nice to see we just pissed away 1/2 of our cash to the cap. Why pay kelsay that kind of jack when for a little bit more we could have kept Clements.

FSU College Republicans offer new scholarship
Ramius replied to Ramius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
http://www.tallahassee.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a...D=2007702210337 From the tallahassee paper, for anyone questioning the credibility of the story. It turns out its a political statement against affirmative action. The scholarship pays out $25. -
Kelsay to be re-signed. Announcement soon...
Ramius replied to gsx95red's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it better not be at 6 million per. What does that say to schobel, who is light years better than kelsay, but is only making a shade over 4 mil per. (5 yrs, 23 mil i believe) -
Tag deadlines were last thursday, so London is hitting FA.

FSU College Republicans offer new scholarship
Ramius replied to Ramius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
1. It does exist, its FSU's chapter of the college republicans that is giving it out to an FSU student 2. You still say its racist. Whats wrong with this picture then. As an engineering student, there are the National Societies for Black, Hispanic, and Women engineers. White males arent allowed to join. But what would happen if i started a National Society for white male engineers? There'd be lawsuits left and right thrown at me for discrimination. In our society, discrimination is only wrong if the majority is doing it, and thats pathetic and hypocritical. -

because...and try to wrap your little goldfish mind around this...not all republicans are psycho crazy right wing conservatives. Just like not all dems are psycho crazy left wing liberals... and heres something thats really going to twist your panties...i am a registered dem, but i support some of the things that republicans (and the FSU college republicans) stand for. -
If Okoye is gone the Bills should trade out
Ramius replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good post Bill. I'm not against trading down. If someone like Levi Brown or Okoye is available at 12, and we take them, i'll be pleased. I just dont think that trading down is as simple as snapping your fingers, and voila, we have extra picks from trading down. All i wanted was some realism in the trade down scenarios, without the automatic assumption that we can just "trade down". I also dont plan on trading down when considering who to draft. With our pick at 12, i would establish a list of players you'd definitely pick at #12. If they all were gone at your pick, then you'd consider trading down, depending on the offers you got. -
The FSU College Republicans are offering a new scholarship for next school year. To receive the scholarship, you must be at least 75% Caucasian heritage, and with your application you must submit an essay on "Why Affirmative Action is bad for society." There are a lot of people down here in support of this new scholarship, and hopefully it wont get nixed by some whining liberals or minorities. Now i am off to find out if grad students are eligible for it. I could definitely use the money.

If Okoye is gone the Bills should trade out
Ramius replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As the above poster said, trading down isnt as simple as deciding to trade down. You need a willing dance partner, and a realistic offer. if someone suggests trading down, they should suggest with who we should picks with and who that other team would be willing to give up picks to get. Whats stupid and obnoxious is these mocks that have the Bills trading down and somehow gaining 38 extra picks, all the while having the guy we want magically still falling to us at our lower draft spot. -
No way preston is gone. Even tho he may not be a top flight starter, he's still important for depth. Theres no reason to get rid of a decent depth guy just to bring in someone you HOPE will be better. steinbach, dielhman, etc are better than preston, but drop preston to a backup role, DO NOT release him.

If Okoye is gone the Bills should trade out
Ramius replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think we should keep trading down and acquiring more picks. If we do it enough, i think we can own every single 7th round pick. Now THATS good draft value. -
this is a common misconception on why alexander and edge wernt traded. Its not that teams didnt want to give up a second round pick, its that both of those RB's had HUGE contract demands that teams didnt want to pay.
-
So if we deal willis, the new RB we bring in gets his 3 yrs before he's run out of town, correct? I mean, thats how much time travis and willis were given. We've got to be consistent.
-
Not ot take anything away from Harrison, but put Moulds on the Colts for the past 10 years and he'd have just as good of numbers as Marvin does. Also, Marvin hardly "helped the colts win the SB". He did his usual post-season disappearing act.
-
That goes along with Law #2 of the Draft... Given the Bills have pick "n" in the first round, there will always be n-1 # of cant miss, blue chip, stud prospects, and we will always miss them.
-
Yup. It was all lynch and sapp. They sure carried those scrubs Derrick Brooks and Simeon Rice.

McGee actually had just as good of a KR year this year as last. The reason everyone thinks otherwise is because he didnt take one all the way top the house. He was near the league leaders in KR avg, so its foolish to say "he didnt have a good year returning kicks"
