  1. Imagine the possibilities...Standard 2 back, 2 WR, 1 TE set, but have fred and marshawn motion into the slot positions, and all of a sudden you have a 4 WR set with extreme mismatches with LBs trying to cover those 2.
  2. I'm sure badol and dawgg will be willing to whine in about clements.
  3. Seconded. I'm also partial to tying these !@#$s up to a semi and dragging them down the interstate at 75mph.
  4. ESPN: picking the best "titletown" of all-time. (and by all-time, we mean the last 6 years) I liken this trash that they produce to their sham of a "all-time greatest college football team" bracket form a few years ago. Their top 4 teams of "all time" were 2005 USC, 2004 USC, 2003 USC and 2006 USC. I've given up on everything on that network save for PTI when they started catering to the extreme hot pocket crowd.
  5. I'm guessing that they are right back where they started, for 1 of 2 reasons... 1. The family was in dire straights due to their inability to handle their financial situation properly. In this case, it wont be long before the family squanders what was given to them. 2. Grandma who works part time at the library and is taking care of 4 kids/grandkids in her trailer. In this case, grandma works, and can manage the little money she has. But how is grandma supposed to pay for utilities and basic needs for her 4 kids in a 4000 sq ft house on her 16K per year salary?
  6. Question: Name the last 3 players (non-rookies) the Bills have handed out large contracts to. And by large contracts we'll call the total value 40 million or higher. Answer: Eric Moulds, Aaron Schobel, Derrick Dockery. Yup, sure looks like the Bills are racist.
  7. Terrence McGee and Roscoe Parrish want to know how come only the white guys get extensions as well. One more question... was Jason Peters white 2 years ago when he signed his extension?
  8. I dont know too much about Coulter, except that he was supposed ot be a decent DE, and he didnt get into FSU because he didnt have enough credits to transfer here. I'm not sure whether or not that was FSU or ACC rules. (Probably ACC). But he did have enough credits to transfer to other schools, and thats what he did.
  9. No surprise. Goodell comes down hard on repeat offenders that obviously haven't learned their lesson and keep casting a bad light on the league. Outside of Buffalo, this was simply a minor blip on the radar.
  10. How long until he gives Vinny a ring?
  11. Dont you have practice or team meetings to attend, Jabari?
  12. link? Or should we file this with the other steaming piles of sh-- you have tried to serve everyone, such as... "if marcus stroud plays in more than 8 games this year, its because he's taking steroids" and "lots of teams have starting quality backup LTs"
  13. C'mon Bill, you're better than that. You know that rookies and holdouts are 2 completely different situations. So were the Bills supposed to focus only on paying peters and forget about getting a rookie into camp in time? And, not too surprisingly, the season is only 4 practices old and you are already trashing whitner. (for what its worth, i had picked 7 practices in the "when will bill trash whitner/mckelvin first" pool) But look on the bright side. This season, when you do your game reports, you can automatically insert 1. Whitner was garbage this game and sucked, and 2. McKelvin was terrible and sucked this game too. You and dawgg are the only 2 on the entire board that arent excited about Whitner's stepping up to be a leader of the entire defense. I guess him being a "leader" doesnt count because he's no on the DL, huh?
  14. Good post, Lori. I was goign to say something similar how CBs are paid more than LBs. But, as others have mentioned, if you look at the guaranteed money(which is the only thing that really matters on the rookie contracts), its basically exactly between the #10 and #12 pick.
  15. You know, someone shoudl really create a thread to keep all the yanks-red sox trash talking in, so it wouldnt pollute the rest of the board. oh wait...
  16. You're contradicting yourself for the sake of being a whiny B word. Evans is getting an extension worked on = he's distracted in your warped little mind No one was complaining that an extension was "distracting" schobel last season. So you complain when they dont lock up their players, and then complain when they are currently "intensely negotiating" with Evans on a new deal. As for the front office and Peters, consider this (although you may find it tough, because it doesnt fit the anti-front office crusade you're currently on). Peters: i want to be the highest paid OL in the league FO: we're willing to work on a new deal, but we cant make you the highest paid OL Peters: well until you can, see ya
  17. Good stuff. He didnt miss too much time which makes me optimistic for him getting in the starting lineup with McGee sooner rather than later.
  18. Looks good scott, but i have 2 comments 1. Get Poz off the banner. He's been hurt once, we dont need to jinx him even more. 2. I like the "Bills news" redesign, but you forgot one important thing. realfootball365 is not news, and doesnt belong up there with Buff news and espn articles. 365 qualifies as "news" in the same way that the sh-- i took yesterday qualifies as "food"
  19. FSU S Myron Rolle 2nd - Either Christian Ponder or D'Vontrey Richardson, provided one fo them beats out the worthless sack of crap drew weatherford at QB.
  20. Jason Peters will be part of the Bills for a long time, be it on the field (99% likely) or sitting at home. 1. According to the front office, Jason Peters is signed for 3 more years at 3 mil per season. If Jason Peters never approaches the front office for an extension, and instead uses the media, one, how does the FO know he wants more $, and two, that is highly unprofessional. Think of yourself at work. If you'd like a raise, what's the better tact, to grumble around the office, or to walk into your boss's office and explain to him the situation? 2. Jason Peters will be a Bill for a long time, and he'll get his money. It might not be this year, it might be next february or march. But he will get his money. Even if Peters plays this season for his current salary, he's still got 2 years left on his deal. He can come out and say that he'll never re-sign with the Bills, but with 2 years remaining on a deal, if the Bills flash a big time deal with 25 mil guaranteed, he'll be signing it within the hour. It basically comes down to the fact that when the Bills show peters the money, he'll re-sign. Perhaps if he made the appropriate steps (contacting the FO, attending OTAs and camp), he'd have his money a lot sooner.
  21. Hester ran his mouth, but when push came to shove, he realized he was losing 15K per day on a 445K yearly salary. Even holcombs arm can see that the math doesnt add up, and that hester would be in camp sooner rather than later. As LABillz said yesterday, when it comes to holdouts, money is undefeated.
  22. wanna know something else thats funny blue? Using AKC's supermostexcellent © system, lets say the bills swapped the places where they took josh reed and ryan denney (both 2002 2nd rounders). All of a sudden, we are at the magic number like the SB teams. So, taking ryan denney before reed would have led us to a super bowl, according to AKC. Not to mention we have all seen how well the "stockpiling" of DTs has gone for KC and St louis.
  23. No, i agree, its put up or shut up time for Jauron. Its time for this team to make some strides.
  24. And you'd be blowing him for for all the "great offseason moves" he made.
  25. Green Bay tells Favre where he can stick his request for a release. (and rightly so, i might add) http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8335678?MSNHPHMA
