  1. nope, 6pm is the final cutdown deadline. http://www.buffalobills.com/blog/index.jsp?blogger_id=1
  2. If you try to put corner and ellis on the PS, kiss them goodbye. They'll both be claimed on waivers before you can blink. I think Omon makes the team over Wright. One thing Wright has been good at is putting the ball on the turf, and that cant make jauron happy.
  3. Schobel played at a high level for 6 years, Peters 1. Schobel also reported to mandatory OTAs and training camp. If you cant see the difference in those 2 situations, then you're more myopic than i thought.
  4. 1. its preseason 2. perhaps people will give your opinion more credence when you learn the difference between the words "dominate" and "dominant"
  5. Actually its the other way around. The team Docs said he can play on the knee, but recommended that he not, and Merriman got 4 other doc's opinions and they also said he should have surgery. He's playing against all other docs wishes.
  6. My point was simply that every year in the NFL, most of the players either overplay or underplay their contract values. When they overplay their value, they all want raises equivalent to their previous seasons work. But when they underplay their contract, you dont hear a peep, and ownership cannot "negotiate down" a contract based off the prior year's poor play. And the "just cut them" excuse doesnt work, because as i said above, teams arent going to cut decent to good players who are overpaid.
  7. So ownership should be able to renegotiate your contract down after you have a bad year then, huh? Thats merit based pay. And dont come back with the tired excuse that "teams can cut players whenever they want," because i can think of a million cases where a player is overpaid, but theres no way a team is going to cut them.
  8. so when tebow cant find some dudes, he settles for chicks. makes sense.
  9. The team forced peters to holdout and not learn the new offense? Did they lock him in his dorm room at SJF and/or bar him from training camp? Put your crackpipe down and enlighten me.
  10. Dress it up, put makeup on it, is still a gimmick offense that will not succeed in the NFL. And what you're saying is that belicheat* had cheated his way to 3 super bowls before he talked to and got input from Cryer, and since then he's cheated his way to how many super bowl titles?
  11. I know a couple of buddies acquaintances that go to UF, (no one that attends UF could ever be considered a "friend," as that shows some serious character flaws) who love the team, but absolutely hate tebow. They've told me that Tebow drives a little scooter around campus. If that doesnt make him gay, i dont know what does.
  12. http://www.jaguars.com/Team/Player.aspx?id=2808 Does greggggg this he's Bill Parcells or something? Someone needs to tell gregggggg-o that Prioleau simply isn't that good.
  13. You do realize that the only way to get a home game the first 2 rounds is to win your division, dont you? I'd take a WC loss this season, provided its not the "we got raped with a rusty pole" type of loss like the homerun throwforward, and we use it as a stepping stone to be even stronger next year.
  14. Maybe trent can get a leg warmer to match his gloves?
  15. Hell no. Tim Tebow is an absolute garbage passer, and is nothing more than the product of a gimmick offense. He can get by on his running ability in college, wheres he's bigger and faster than most. When he gets to the pros, everyone is going to be just as big and fast as him and he's going to get destroyed. He's got nowhere the elusiveness of a Vince Young.
  16. Nice work Bill. You somehow managed to turn a jason peters related post into a post bashing DBs.
  17. This must have made it even worse when she turned you down.
  18. lets ignore your lunatic like rantings and focus on the topic of "the mob" claiming that Peters would get a new contract if he came to camp. That hasnt been said at all. In fact, most of the positions offered here by posters are that Theres no way the Bills would negotiate if Peters didnt show up. Plain and simple. Theres no guarantee that they will pay him more or begin talks if he steps into practice tomorrow. But i can tell you one thing for absolute certainty; if Jason Peters doesn't show up, there will be no negotiating. Apparently, all of the neurons aren't firing correctly inside #71's head. If he wants a new deal, the best thing he can do is show up and practice and play. Because if he doesnt show up, there will be no negotiation. And Ralph isnt an owner to play chicken with when it comes to money. You are going to lose. I'm actually a bit surprised he hasnt reported. I figured he'd throw his little hissy fit during training camp and then show up when practices moved back to orchard park. But he hasnt. And the original article is dead nuts on. Sure Peters is a hell of a player, but when you've got 75 guys that have sweated and bled through training camp and practices, they bond, and they can start to develop a "!@#$ off" mentality toward the whiny prima donna holdout that Peters has turned into. Peters has made it loud and clear that he doesnt give 2 ***** about this team, so why should the team go out of their way for him? The Bills have shown that if you put the team first and are a good player, you'll be rewarded. Peters has yet to show any of that.
  19. I'd actually love to see McCain name Hillary his VP.
  20. No one is on fire. The sun came out, the temperature warmed a few degrees, and you are running around telling everyone they are on fire.
  21. DJ Fitzpatrick has an awesome part time job. He spends his summers working as a punter in NFL training camp. He's hired every may, and released every august. I wonder what he does the rest of the year?
  22. Rico IS good at screaming for the current QBs head and annointing the next guy as the savior.
  23. I know. He spoke it to dwight drane and told him to spread the word across the intertubes. I'm actually waiting for when Dwight Drane claims to be Jesus Christ. Shouldn't be too long.
  24. Agreed completely. Again, dwight, why the hell is now all of a sudden different than the 2-3 dozen other times that the world was "coming to an end." They knew back then without a doubt that the world was ending and the end times were upon us, but here we still are. As for your "predictions," and the fact that you claim to be able to read prophecy within the Bible, and only are here to let us know, perhaps you should study the Bible a bit more, specifically, Matthew 7:15. Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are savage wolves.
  25. I'm with the crowd that thinks Johnson has made the team and the looks are going to huggins and jenkins so we can determine if we're keeping a 6th WR, and if so, which one to keep. The practice squad decision could be foolish, because not only does he need to clear waivers, but when on the P.S., any team can claim him to their active roster at any point during the season.
