  1. Greer is a FA at the end of the season. It wouldnt surprise me at all to see the Bills let him walk, because he'll probably command some big bucks on the market. They you have mckelvin and youboty ready to step in for him.
  2. Fuggin awesome! i'd love to see this happen.
  3. hellz yeah sabres
  4. Lets look at some of the gems spewed in 2006 by our resident parrot, ladumbass, courtesy of his retarded website... palmer is such a good run blocker that he was cut by the packers after appearing in only 8 games in 2 seasons. The funniest part is that in every team's "draft grade," LaDumbass comments on who he would have drafted instead. And on every single team, he claimed they should have drafted RB LenWhale White, OT Guy Whimper, DT Anthony Montgomery, WR Mike Haas, CB Derrick Martin, OG Mark Setterstrom, and OLB Ben Ishola. Every single team should have taken those players. Apparently LaDumbass finds some obscure players to man-crush about in every single draft, and teams are "stupid" because they didnt follow his draft advice.
  5. Being a scientist, i have to ask: what drug cocktail are you using on her?
  6. Geiseinger is just so good that he still has yet appear in a game in 1+ season with the redskins. In fact, he's appeared in a whole 2 games in a 3+ year career. It must be that he's so good, the league doesn't want him playing because it would upset competitive balance.
  7. C'mon bluefire. Your statements have no credibility until you back them up by saying how you were correct but mysteriously your website failed. As for atlanta, dont expect a mentally unstable poster like LaDumbass to understand the complex nuances of football, including how the poor play and talent level of a team may affect an individual player. BTW - i nailed it in my 2000 draft analysis when i said that Tom Brady would be a multiple super bowl winner when it was all said and done. I wish i could link to it, but the website where i posted it failed.
  8. The really sad thing is that the Tigers might be the best football team in the entire state.
  9. bull sh--. We better get at least a 3rd from the cards in addition to boldin.
  10. You're mistaken if you think Miami and FSU will be down for long. The ACC is in a down swing now, but in a couple of years, they'll be back again battling with the big boys. And there's a reason why we commonly refer to them as the Clemson Paper Tigers.
  11. If the naked bootleg works and nets us a first down, you drop your ass to the ground right there and end the ball game. You do NOT score a TD to go up by only 8. If the TD puts you up by 2 scores, sure go ahead and score. But on that last "run out the clock" set of downs, DJ better had been telling marshawn and freddie to hit the ground after getting the first, ala Brian Westbrook a couple seasons ago.
  12. Your typical gators fan can be summed up as the guy i saw around here. Work boots, cut off jean shorts short enough where the pockets stick out, wife beater tucked into said jean shorts, and a gator cap. The funniest part is that watching the game on TV is the closest 99% of gator fans will ever come to ever attending school. And most UF grads usually have enough intelligence to ditch their allegiance to that team once they graduate.
  13. Welcome to north florida, especially the jax/gainesville area. Chances are that the type of person you saw in a gator fan.
  14. Dude, you don't have to lie. There aren't "hundreds of jags fans" anywhere. Tens maybe.
  15. The big East needs to expand their football program to at least 10, possibly even 12 schools before they can truly rise as a "power" conference. I see a few potential teams that have the talent to move up fro C-USA, like Marshall or perhaps Southern Miss. And fer chrissakes, ND needs to nut up and join the Big-10 already. 11 team conferences are gay. Each major conference should be *required* to have a conference title game. At least it would simplify the sham we call the BCS.
  16. Dont discredit UNC. Butch Davis is doing some good things with that team, and it wouldnt surprise me at all to see them become bowl eligible this year. (Note: this does not make rutgers any better. they are still garbage, much like their home state)
  17. Nature 2, man 0. Anyone really still want to argue that we aren't descended from a common ancestor?
  18. WTF is this "sold enough" to be televised? I thought it was plain and simple; if you weren't sold out you either get blacked out or ask for an extension.
  19. Yeah but Croyle was a 3rd round pick, not a top 10 pick. As for high QBs, half the reason they "bust" so often is because they go to crap teams and are labeled as the savior of the franchise from day 1. If teams would learn to build up the lines, the defense and the offense before drafting a young QB, you'd see a much higher success rate. Stick with the recycled vets for a couple of years until you build up a team.
  20. The home opener might mean something for other teams, but its jacksonville. No one out there gives a rats ass about pro football, so the jags are not going to be all hyped up for it. As of tuesday, there were still some 1300 tickets left for the game. I'm sure the game will "sell out" however, when the tarps buy up the remaining seats.
  21. Its pretty simple. Anyone believing in creationism and not evolution should not have access to the newest antibiotics. They should be given standard, out dated antibiotics from 20 years ago, because by believing in creationism, you are stating that you do NOT believe that bacteria can evolve antibiotic resistance. Therefore, you do not need the newest antibiotics.
  22. What do the seahawks have to do with your craptastic backup up QB, Matt Cassel? About all he did on sunday was toss up prayers and hope randy moss caught them. And weren't you just accusing me of changing the topic? Typical troll.
  23. Now if we can just get these to replace the slug full time.
  24. Go hog wild with the xmas shopping, because you'll never have to pay off the bill.
  25. I'd go with (in order of importance) OLB, OC, TE. However, it all depends on the rankings of who is available when we select. Since it is VERY uncommon to have a center worth a 1st round pick, and with Crowell being out, i think OLB is the round 1 importance. Round 2 would be a toss up between C and TE if any are worth it. If not, then DT in round 2. However, it may be a moot point to take a DT in round 2, because only 1st round DTs make you a championship team (except when they dont).
