Players like Justin Geisinger, on their 3rd team in 4 years who have appeared in a grand total of 2 games in 4 years. Also players like Eric King, who after 3+ seasons, is still fighting just to try and get some snaps in garbage time for the titans.

No question that Whitner's sack was a game changer. Knocked the rams back, led to the longer and then missed FG, flipped the field, which directly led to Greer's pick-6. As for Hardy, none of his mistakes are things that can't be corrected. The fade pattern seemed to be a positioning/timing problem. He didnt get turned around soon enough to out jump the defender. Some work in practice and more timing work with Trent can fix that. The first incomplete was a simple overthrow by edwards. Hardy will be alright. Hell of a win, man.

So now this year's polls are supposed to take into account how a team did in previous years? Funny, i thought that this years poll was supposed to be a rank of how good a team was in 2008, not ow they performed in 2006.

What will be interesting to watch is to see how far USC falls in the polls. Ohio St. got killed in the polls after losing to #1 USC. USC should easily drop into the teens, but smart knowledge and pro-USC bias says that they'll drop no further than 7 or 8.

I don't care it happens, but given the current system, NO 2 loss team should be in the title game ahead of a 1 loss team from a BCS conference. If the BCS were ever to do that, then simply do away with the entire system and let the coaches/AP randomly pick their "favorites" to play for the "title."

I wouldnt be shocked to see Ohio St. in it again. Sure, if theres a smattering of 1 loss teams, then Ohio St would probably be out. But, if a situation like last year arises where Ohio St runs the table and only has 1 loss, you CANNOT put a 2 loss SEC team in the championship over a 1 loss Ohio St.

Its simply outstanding to see the yanks eliminated form playoff contention. Warms the heart. Now watching the boSux go down in 3 in the ALDS would really warm the soul. And the best?
