  1. Marshawn, FJ, Evans, Reed, Parrish, Edwards = 0 offensive threats but... Marshawn, FJ, Evans, Reed, Parrish, Edwards and TO = chock full of love?
  2. The Bills actually got the better of the Cards on that play. Trent read the blitz and hit Hardy for the first down. Successful play. An unsuccessful blitz by the cards. 9/10 times, trent takes a shot on that, gets up and the drive continues. We just happened to get unlucky with the dirty helmet-to-helmet shot.
  3. If i had ot bet, i'd wager that the no huddle will be scrapped as soon as we get a lead and/or the games enters the 4th quarter.
  4. No, i'm not looking forward to them losing games this season. I'm simply expecting it. I think we're looking at a 6-10 season. That doesn't mean i wont be watching every single game and rooting my ass off for us to make the playoffs. If/when this team starts losing, what i am looking forward to is actually having a player that seems to give a sh-- about the outcome. I'm looking forward to having someone that isn't afraid to call BS on some of the crap that the coaching staff does. For the first time in a long time, i want to see some emotion from this team.
  5. If everyone does it, how come 1 team, not 32 teams were punished? The entire spygate screams of a cover-up. If there's nothing wrong, they why not show everyone? If there's no weed in your room, then why are you blocking the door so your dad can't take a peek? The pats* cheated, plain and simple. It likely played a large role in them barely squeaking out 3 tainted super bowl "victories." To the poster who said the panthers were on 'roids, how come there's no mention to rodney harrison (may he rot in hell) being on HGH? (along with a good chunk of the rest of the pats* D) Every wonder why the pats picked up over-the-hill players and they suddenly found "new life?"
  6. So its like... Intentional or not, this is the funniest pun i've read in a while.
  7. And what happens when we scrap the no huddle after the first game? This coaching staff has a history of claiming all these big and huge changes are going to be implemented and usually, they get scrapped after 1 or 2 games in favor of ultra-conservatism. They did the same song-and-dance last offseason about "opening up the offense" and then never did. The defense used the creep successfully in week 1 then ditched it. James Hardy was used in the red-zone early on and then they never looked his way again. The best part of the TO acquisition is that he won't put up jauron's crap when the Bills drop 3 straight and fall to 4-5 or something of the like. I look forward to TO tearing jauron a new one on the sidelines.
  8. And what you'll find is that even if we get "talent" that we "dont have", jauron will still coach them down to a 9-7 record. We're going nowhere fast with jauron, simply because of his ultra-conservative style.
  9. So which one are you? http://www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com/
  10. For every 1 Bill Belicheat who started his career off slowly and then began winning at a remarkable rate, there are 20 rich kotites who continued losing. Dick Jauron is simply another rich kotite. The guy has been in the league 8 seasons and has never showed even glimpses of being able to achieve anything that can closely resemble consistent winning. I'll never understand why lots of posters cannot seem to distinguish between the exception and the rule.
  11. I've got a Warrick Dunn from the Buccs (FSU), a John Elway, a Warren Moon, and a Marshall Faulk (a gift from a friend who had visited St. Louis).
  12. They can stick to rolling 3.5 and circling every ((n+1)^2)/n letter in the bible to sift out some magical code predicting apocalypse that only they can read.
  13. Just another in your line of failed predictions. I wont be sporting my PhD until graduation in august. Not to mention i have paperwork to finish up and turn in before i am even cleared to graduate.
  14. Passed. Whew, its finally over. See everyone the next time i am sober, so sometime on monday.
  15. I like how you leave out facts from the CDC like "the vast majority of swine flu cases are very mild," and most of the deaths are "in people of a higher risk class," such as people with weakened immune systems, or pre-existing conditions. In other words, the group of people that are always more susceptible to any flu are the ones getting sick. You also leave out that out of your heralded 1 million cases, we've seen 127 deaths in the US. That's 0.01% of the cases resulting in death. Some bioweapon, huh? If people are getting the flu and barely getting sick, or getting over it quickly, which they, its not much of a threat is it? Care to link to where "containment areas" are being set up?
  16. Thank you for confirming that you do not understand the difference between the spread offense and the spread option offense. That's all i needed to know.
  17. Do you even understand the difference between the spread (which most teams have some version of that they run a few plays per game) and the spread option (which UF runs, and which Urban Cryer ran at Utah)? It would appear not. tebag is a spread option QB, not a spread QB. No NFL team is going to adopt a gimmick spread option offense. Since you love to point out the warts at certain schools, care to explain why 24 UF players have been arrested since Meyer rolled into town? He's developing quite the track record. You guys have successfully take the "Prison prep school" title away from miami. I mean, one of your players stole a credit card from a dead chick, fer christsakes.
  18. So FSU fans are biased, but you, as a UF grad, are the beacon of unbiased-ness?
  19. tim tebag urban meyer's "genius"
  20. Can you please list the teams that run the spread option in the NFL? Unless half the league all of a sudden adopts that offense, tebag is going to do nothing as a QB at the NFL level. He can't pass the ball, and he wont be able to run over or by defenders like he does in college. I know tebag is religious, but if he tries to run like he does in college, James Harrison or Patrick Willis are going to give him a good reason to pray to God.
  21. If the NFL does got o guaranteed contracts, you'd need buyout clauses. Something along the lines of what the NHL has. Let the team buyout the deal for maybe 50% of the remaining time on the deal. Going off of what Fingon mentioned, perhaps have a system where a contract isn't guaranteed until week 1 of the season? This way all the fringe players could still be signed and cut, but the team would not be on the hook for the entire contract.
  22. If the players get guaranteed contracts, you aren't going to see these astronomical deals with play money. Haynesworth got $100 million, sure, but only 40 guaranteed. In the new system, his contract would be worth 45-50 million, not 100.
  23. And straight people can't do this? Get a friend of the opposite sex, take a quick trip to the courthouse, and all of a sudden you have tax benefits, insurance benefits, etc.
  24. Lowering standards will also get you laid a lot more.
  25. If you need to take a girl out to a nice dinner to get laid, find a less attractive and more desperate one. Try to find and snag a cush on-campus job. Most campuses have plenty of positions where they pay decent money for you to do very little. I had a 10 hour per week job at the library as an undergrad, which essentially gave me 10 paid hours to do homework and study. Find out what places and where (movie theaters, restaurants, coffee shops) offer student discounts with your ID, and abuse the hell out of them. For some courses, like math, buy an old edition of the text book. The field of calculus has not changed in the last 2 years since the old edition came out. Then find a friend with a new edition and make photocopies of the HW problems (the only things that change from edition to edition) If you want to do something, suggest it to your RA as a floor activity. Schools have an activity fund where your RA or RD can apply for money to take the floor/dorm on a trip/activity. You can get cool day trips and such for deeply discounted or free. Attend "interest" meeting for clubs you don't care about to get free food. The health center usually has free condoms. Run the numbers on your meal plan. It might be worth it to have the plan for a semester or year when you first get to school. Not having a plan saves a bunch if you cook all the time, but if you go out quite a bit, the meal plan might be cheaper. Also consider that lots of your friends might be on the plan and you'll want to go eat with them.
