I watched it to but he said things differently. Faulk said that we have a very good offense, but the OL is the bug question mark since we lost Jason Peters, and didn't have anyone waiting in the wings waiting to replace him. Nah, NFLTA should be on your green list. They picked your pats* to be the surprise team this season.

I'm in the same boat as you regarding how much of the show i've seen and why. From what i gather, the show has really started ot suck, because they used to be a nice little struggling family, and now they have a ton of money and get everything handed to them. They're a celeb family pretending to be a real family. And they got/are getting divorced because kate cares more about the show, herself, and the $ than she does her family and marriage. Good for jon for leaving her.

Must have been a long wait behind all those pats* coaches/players/owner.

Prior to last season, when he was hurt, Aaron Schobel averaged almost 10 sacks per season in the first 7 years of his career (67 in 7 years). But yeah, he sucks and is simply an average DE. Lots of DEs average 10 sacks per season. I'll give the OP some credit. Its been almost a month since some mongoloid started a "Schobel sucks" thread.

Doesn't bruschi need to ascend into heaven and we are all supposed to await his return?

Phil thinks you're a too.

Phil actually played well off the tee. A couple of missed putts here and there are what cost him. Actually the missed 4 footer at 15 is what did him in. If he makes that par, its a different ballgame. 17 was tough, i'll give him that one.

Whats gonna piss me off the most is that Glover will probably win by shooting a 73/74 on sunday. Shooting that high should mandate a playoff.
-
Dammit. Seems like the demons finally got to Phil. Bogeys on 15-17 and now he's 2 back. The plus side is that he's in good shape on 18, so maybe he can knock in a bird and hope he ties everyone at -3. I really thought today was gonna be his day after some of the miraculous saves and the eagle on 13.
-
I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4 or 5 man playoff later this afternoon to decide this thing.

"Get in the hole!" guy needs to be ejected form the course. It gets really old hearing that repeatedly on every shot all weekend long. Anyways, work has been unproductive thus far with the final round today. Looks like Barnes and glover are struggling early. C'mon phil! I think that -4 or even -3 could still easily win today.

Can someone refresh my memory as to how many playoff wins the great "winning" QB led the Bills to?
-
Great shots should get you birdies, and being in the rough, or erratic shots, should make it tough to make par on the hole. What i want the most is for the course to be playing where someone can toss a final round -3 and make a run at the leaders. There shouldn't be players shooting 4 rounds in the red, but if you are at or near par, you should be in contention on a sunday. I'll take a 3 round leader at -3 any day of the week.

No, my point about SD was that flutie wouldn't have taken us anywhere in '01. His play in SD verifies he was done and his good days were behind him. Flutie was good in '98. In '99, teams got the book on him, and he wasn't nearly as effective. He was decent at best in '99, and the defense carried the offense. For the titans playoff game, flutie got screwed and should have started. After 2000, the Bills made the right choice staying with RJ. If our team was very close to going for a title, you keep the dwarf. But we weren't. We were in cap hell and going nowhere in 2001, so it made sense ot keep RJ. Not to mention flutie had become a complete prick and divided the locker room. What i find funny is that someone like yourself, who is bent on "winning" is such a supporter of a proven, career loser in dick jauron.

The course is playing awfully long, but the greens are very receptive. Players can hit longer irons and stick it on the green. Hell, weir has been sticking the ball with a hybrid. If you wanna watch, go to www.channelsurfing.net

Leftover spaghetti.

Maybe that was it. I don't mind if you only catch the front or back edge and it rolls off, but i remember the tournament where literally 90% of the balls that hit the green were rolling off, and it got ridiculous. To me, a major championship (like the US Open) should ideally be set up where the winner should be a few shots under par.

Think what you want about his time here, but if we kept flutie in 2001, that team may have gone 5-11 instead of 3-13. (But then again, you're highly impressed by 7-9, so maybe 5-11 sounded very good to you) That entire team was crap and was going nowhere. Also, take a look at what flutie did after he left buffalo...nothing. So there's no reason to believe he would have "magically" led us to the playoffs. Flutie "magic" is like the wizard of Oz magic. You pull the curtain and find that the real reason behind the success was a top defense, NOT some little egomanical dwarf.

I agree that they should have never even started the 1st round yesterday. Taking one look at the radar yesterday morning would have shown that it was going to pour all day long. I like the (low? high?) scoring in the Open, provided it doesn't make a mockery of the game. I love the long tough courses with crazy rough that make the players hit perfect shots and make fairway play a premium. I also like tough, challenging greens with tricky putts. What i don't like is when they go overboard and make it so unless you hit it in a 5 foot radius, the ball is going to roll 30 yards back off the front of the green, like they did at the Masters? a few years ago. Quick question - With tiger on the green when they suspended play, does he just mark his ball and just leave the mark there overnight?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/fool/20090528/bs_fool_fool/rx19332 Try to friggin use google for a change. In 30 seconds, i founds hundreds of links talking about umbrella policies, and found that in general the first $1 million is the most expensive, running up to $300 per year. After that, additional millions in coverage drops, down to $75 for the second million, and as low as $50 for each additional million. So by my math, that means a $5 million policy would cost $525 per year. So keep rolling your eyes. and here you go fignon...

The Nike Swoosh is on college jerseys because Nike makes the jerseys. Similar to how Reebok makes the NFL jerseys, but i dont hear you complaining about the Reebok logo.

Flutie simply wasn't very good. That's why he ended up in the CFL. There's no grand conspiracy to keep the dwarf down like lots would have you believe. Flutie was effective the first time a team saw him, but once you had the game tape on him, he was toast. Not to mention he was garbage as a starter in 1999 and our D was the sole reason we got to the playoffs. Also, how did flutie "just win" in SD when he went 5-11 in his final season?

Best QBs available in FA: Rex Grossman and J.P. Losman
Ramius replied to BillsWatch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What will be funnier is watching him try to explain how a QB with an 86.0 rating is "awesome" and a QB with an 84.9 rating "sucks and had a bad year."
