  1. He'll definitley need to, that's for sure. He's one to watch.
  2. Wow, this last year has flown by....I swear it seems like just yesterday that Jack posted this list for last year....
  3. Totally agree. I had lost a little faith when Darabont was kicked out or whatever, but they have rebounded nicely. I love the various elements and how they are interrelated...if they can maintain this level of quality, this will be my favorite season for sure.
  4. lol, was watching with a lady friend of mine....she got pretty mad at the way I reacted I was bummed about Tdog, too....I always liked how he and Daryl kicked ass together. I hope Michonne gets a bigger role....that's the kind of woman I want to see on a show like this....doesn't take any ****, doesn't whine and whore herself out, and she knows how to kick some ass. I'd roll with her any day. I really hope the people at Falling Skies pay attention to this show...EVERY single week this season this show offers a really nice balance of drama, character development, and zombie ass kicking. I'm really enjoying this season. They made the mistake of letting them get a bit too comfy on the farm last year, and there were times when it started to drag on. Any fears of that happening again with the prison setting have been put to rest already. And now with the Governor and that side of the show, they have become very efficient with their story telling. They're packing quite a lot into each episode, and I don't feel that anything is being rushed or short-changed because of it. They've really hit their stride this season, IMO.
  5. I didn't really watch the game either, and I feel much better than I would if I HAD watched. I watched RedZone from 1pm until 730pm and my Sunday was glorious. I didn't get all hung up on minutiae with the Bills, and quite frankly they really weren't on redzone all that often. I didn't have to get mad because, yet once again, we leave a RB averaging a mile per carry picking his ass instead of actually giving him more opportunities to shine. Hell, there was even a very well respected reporter from Houston on the John Murphy Show this week who basically said, if the Bills want to win, they should RUN THE BALL. When I saw a few posts just a few minutes ago saying how Fred and CJ only had like 12 carries in the first half and half that in the 2nd, it just makes me shake my head. You have to be a complete idiot to rely on Ryan Fitzpatrick more heavily than you rely on not one, but TWO very capable RBs....especially when one of them leads the fuggin NFL in ypc. Yet week after week, Chan does the same ****.
  6. Would you mind putting in a good word for me?
  7. I don't understand why Buffalo is constantly thrown under the bus for it's decline, yet nobody ever mentions Detroit. I've seen a few mini-documentaries lately on Detroit and there's no way in HELL Id ever consider moving there. Also, I'm with those of you who mention the heat of places like ATL. My ideal climate is the mid-Atlantic region....a nice balanced four seasons. I like Atlanta summers at NIGHT, but I'd take the cold of B-lo over the intense heat of ATL any day.
  8. Okay, I'll stop mentioning Aaron Murray if you tell me what "collegiant" means. lol....touche, brother Do you think he will last more than like two NFL games, though? The guy is like a STICK.
  9. I really hope if we draft a QB high, we give him a legit chance to win the job. Just look at all the young QBs who have not only started their rookie years, but had success in the role: A.Dalton, A.Luck, RGIII, C.Newton, R.Williams....and that's just in the last two years. If we draft a seasoned QB such as Aaron Murry....or Geno Smith...or Aaron Murray....I saw we give them a fair chance to win the gig just like Pete CArroll did with Seattle. I agree with you on the defense, too....absolutely PATHETIC that this D has regressed....no excuse whatsoever.
  10. The "short" thing is a blessing! That means he'll drop just enough for us to grab him. And show me ONE QB in college who hasn't looked average at times? Even Peyton Manning, the most "nfl-ready" QB to come out of college in the last twenty years, had some average games....Murray's stats in 2.5 years are superior to Peyton's. I'm not saying he'll be the next Peyton Manning....not at all....but I think he'll be the first Eric Zeier/Drew Brees hybrid.
  11. What the hell is a "direhard"?
  12. Funny you say that. I happen to know of a QB who has both arm strength AND accuracy. And they call him... ...Mr Murray
  13. 21/28 for 384, 4TD, 0INT I'm assuming he's happy with that, regardless of the slow start (which is sort of the Dawgs M.O.)
  14. I would like to see a transition film dealing with that time frame, as well, cause then it would be feasible to have Vader involved.
  15. Retroactive birth defects are known to cause this sort of flare-up.
  16. I have a problem with strictly stat guys getting into the hall of fame. It's a team game, and yeah, sometimes you can make a really strong case for a guy who put up great numbers with little team success, but I tend to put a little more weight on the "success" thing when it comes to the QB position. No other position comes close in terms of opportunity to impact the outcome of a game than the QB. Rivers has a LOT of talent around him, and he has had for some years now. I happen to think Norv is a big part of the problem, but I don't see any reason why this team should not have had more post-season success. I think when you say you view him as a fringe player at this point, that is very fair...I agree.
  17. I know how much you have on your plate, so understandable that you haven't seen them....but just be sure to see Casino Royale before Quantum of Solace, cause they go hand in hand. Skyfall should be a stand alone film.
  18. I don't see any reason why Phillip Rivers would even be mentioned in the same sentence as the HOF....he has absolutely nothing on his resume. Marv?
  19. So I guess you're not real high on this one, eh?
  20. Vader Time!! I totally forgot about Red Dawn....I'll probably be there at midnight for Skyfall....and a few others look very interesting, as well!!
  21. I think they're batting at least .500 with the head cases, though....they seemed to do pretty well with Dillon and Moss. This is a good trade for them, Id say. Talib is a talent...if he gets his head right, this could be a huge trade for them.
  22. I loved that scene with Deb that you mentioned where it serves as a very distinct turning point for her "acceptance" (or at least understanding) of Dexter's code. There have been a few scenes this year where I was REALLY impressed with the way something was written or how it was carried out. Also strongly agree with the whole way Dex didn't even flinch when the rapist guy got the upper hand. He didn't freak out, he just assessed his situation, analyzed his mistake (e.g. when he got caught on the mobile home), and just took it to another level. It came off like you can take the most violent, steroid-infested psychopath, but that pales in comparison to the calculating, cerebral, serial killer with a code. I love it.
  23. Glad you asked! My favorite app on my iPhone is one called TuneIn Radio. It's basically an interface that allows you to listen to pretty much any station all across the country (and internationally, as well), all sorts of podcasts, etc. I just added the John Murphy Show (and WGR) to my favorites list and click it on every night when I leave work. The app is free and you can literally find just about anything on there. I use it every day and would be lost without it. In fact, I think it was Stojan who first told me about it, so gotta give props to Steve. Also, thanks for the kind words and purposeful responses that some of you guys left...very much appreciated
