Isn't it true that if we had won the Jax or Pittsburgh games, we'd have been playing KC in Buffalo instead? Just that shift in venue could have given us the tiny edge we needed. We are so close to KC, I don't think it would be wise to over-react and start ditching coaches or tearing up the roster. With that said, last year prior to the Super Bowl most were saying no one could slow down KC's offense. Then the Bucs did with a great defense. They seemed to have an answer for Kelce in particular. Why can't we get there?

No way to say for sure, and the 3 other games this weekend may say otherwise, but I think this shows the importance of getting a higher seed than KC before the playoff start. I just think if they had to play in a super loud Orchard Park, it might have been just the small edge we could have used to come out on top. I'm sick of going to KC to play these playoff games.

Exactly. Chris Simms said that was the best game he'd ever seen. It was a heavyweight slugfest with a flurry of punches and counterpunches at the end. It sucks that we lost the coin toss because the way Josh was playing, damn good chance we'd have got our TD first to seal it. If that had happened, would it have been appropriate for KC fans to say that all the KC coaches should be fired, and that their defense sucked? Why - these were the two best teams left standing in the playoffs. They went toe to toe. It was a game for the ages. No shame.

So all three games this weekend ended with field goals to win it with under 20 seconds to play. Wow. I sure hope we win with a little safety margin, not sure my heart could take it!

Bills Niners Rams Titans -upset weekend (all favorites/home teams lose except the Titans)

So basically, even the grand wizard ESPN computers suggest it's essentially a toss-up. That's no surprise to me. Nobody knows who's going to win, though everyone has their prognostications - some backed up with theory or statistics. Maybe some find that fun, but I think we all know we'll just have to watch the game to find out. Go Bills!

I love the big wookie too! As stated prior, the Chiefs have not had to deal with our latest incarnation of O-line. I think it's going to be the difference in the game.

The Rams blow out the Cards, have to face the Bucs who blew out the Eagles The Chiefs blew out the Steelers, have to face the Bills who blew out the Patriots The only somewhat more competitive game winners - Bengals (over Raiders), and Niners (over Cowboys), have to face the #1 seeds who sat out last week. I expect the next set of games to be a lot more competitive.

Well, yeah there's always that. I'm just not sure which one I'd rather face IF they made it that far, hence my indifference. Perhaps if it was the Cards the Bills having a chance to erase the damn Hail Murray?!

NFL network on my Dish Guide has lots of "NFL Wildcard Game" timeslots going on today and into the week. Usually they say which one but for some reason they are not showing the teams. If you have it, I guess you'll have to just keep checking in.

I agree. Our O-line is a big factor in the run game too, they have really jelled of late and are playing tough, aggressive football. I think that's an aspect KC really hasn't seen. You could tell by the NE game that this whole Bills team wants it bad! I think the Chiefs are going to be surprised with our new-found physicality.

As a Bills fan, is there any reason to care who wins this game? It's the only game this weekend where it just doesn't matter to me.

I was just asking my adult son if it was petty for me to still root for the Cowboys to lose, just due to the fact that they beat us in two super bowls thirty years ago. He said that's how tribalism works. Good enough for me 😁
