This is, in my memory at least, one of the all-time most savage hit pieces ever put out there by a sports writer. EVER. It is a straight-up hit job and Dunne surely knows it. Not saying any of it is wrong, in fact it all makes COMPLETE sense to me and is exactly what I'd assumed based on the results on the field, the demeanor of McD's press conferences, and the rest of the "smoke" surrounding the franchise over the past few years (Dabs, Leslie, Diggs, etc.). But it is SAVAGE. (I will add, some of you are just conditioned to completely distrust "media elites" no matter what, but especially when the message is something you'd rather not hear. You should, um, do some work on that.)

I am sure the Chiefs are terrified at the thought of having to defend Fournette’s 2.9 YPC.

I don’t know how the NFL can be pleased with its product today - and for much of this season. I don’t know if it’s offseason practice restrictions, talent parity, officiating or what - but this is the worst slate of 1pm games I can ever remember. It’s like watching preseason football. Garbage.

I am never a blame the refs guy but today was a Whole Nuther Level as they say. And I’m convinced NY called them at halftime and told them to get it together before the FBI opens a file.

Harty being a $5M inactive today while Sherfield ran the wrong routes multiple times was a HUGE indictment on Beane’s pro personnel skills.

He’s got the weirdest hook angle kick I’ve ever seen. A competent ST coach might do wonders but I don’t expect that under Sean.

I’m never one to distrust or blame the refs but… Today is different. Something is going on.

Beane? This team isn’t fighting for its coach’s job, that much is clear so far today.

This team just isn’t particularly focused or prepared week in and week out. Nor do they seem to be trying to save their coach’s job today, but there’s a lot of game left.
