  1. No you didn't hear that. Please stop being a troll.
  2. Gotta put Sammy in the "cons" category at this point, at least from Terry's standpoint. That trade didn't work out.
  3. Again - did you see LAST YEAR'S draft? It's not like it can get worse than that...
  4. I'm going to hold judgment on this one until we see who gets axed (if anyone). Perhaps they'll keep some of the pro personnel folks. Regardless, I don't see how this is a "mess" - this is long overdue. This scouting department has failed. Last year's draft needed to be a good one and it BOMBED. Two major injury risks, one major character risk, and one episode of bad luck (Ragland) = game over.
  5. Sure.
  6. Picks 2-10 are incorrect.
  7. When did Whaley get fired?
  8. Alright - but my point is that I'm not sure a QB who isn't a pure pocket anticipation passer is DOA. I think you can win with a sandlot guy if you have the right pieces around him and a solid running game.
  9. I do not consider Cam to be an anticipation passer. You're describing him like Big Ben but that's not how he plays. He throws jump balls.
  10. Funny you should bring up Suggs: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/nfl-draft/2017/sackseer-2017
  11. AP can't catch the ball and can't operate out of shotgun. He is not a great fit for that offense. He's also old, has a lot of wear and tear, and is a bit of a PR risk for a team that hates distractions.
  12. Then I am in the minority but when I see MG run, he reminds me of Fred Jackson - no joke. His balance and vision are very familiar to me. And considering that Shady is probably in the final year of his tenure here, and the cap number for MG in 2018 is cheap under the deal NE signed him to, it seemed to me to be a no-brainer to match that deal. And I don't even have to factor in the fact that Whaley will squander that 5th on a backup safety who will be off the roster in a year.
  13. Yes, thank you for coming here to educate all of us. By the way, I see your act has worn just as thin (thinner, actually) over at Sabrespace.
  14. I'm just saying - the same things were said about JJ Watt. I haven't watched enough of Barnett to know whether he's more like Werner or more like Watt, I'm just saying...
  15. Dion Lewis probably doesn't make that roster - and he intrigues me...
  16. Yes, you're a perfectly objective and neutral commentator who is only out to "challenge the groupthink." What a remarkable coincidence that you always fall on the exact same side of the fan fence.
  17. Go ahead and act like toddlers instead of responding to substance. But then again, PTR does not watch football, he just defends his crummy favorite team with the vehemence, thuggery and dishonesty of a zealot.
  18. I don't think that's true. I am pissed Whaley mis-managed the MG situation but I'd certainly forgive him if he landed Hyde for a 5th.
  19. BB is their GM, so not well. They would have to change their strategy significantly without Brady, but I wouldn't bet against them. They'd switch to a simpler system on offense, probably more run-heavy. They'd still likely be in the hunt every year.
  20. Yup, I ludicrously defend the best-run organization in the NFL. Whereas you...
  21. Legendary response - classic PTR gamesmanship.
