  1. True...the parity driven NFL at its best.
  2. Noone is saying cakewalk, but 3-1 is not out of the question vs. the NFC East. Dallas, I'm not impressed. I hope we get them later in the season, after TO has forced the team to take sides and generally made a mess of the season. Also, I'm not sold on Romo. Their OL is a year older. Yes their D will be better, but I think the O will suffer. Washington...no clue what they will do. But noone on that team is a matchup nightmare for us. Who..Santana Moss? We've dealt with him before. Gibbs is a good coach, but they lost some high character players and don't scare me. NYG...two words...Kevin Gilbride. I think the Giants crash and burn next year, setting Coughlin up for a fall and laying the red carpet for Cowher's return to pro football. In future years the Giants will be tough to deal with, but next year...5-11. Eagles..tough team. This could be the L. They are tough and experienced. Good lines, good D. Great coach. This will be a tough game and a true test of how good we are.
  3. Given the loss of Gaustad for the season, and the fact that the team was already a bit soft (without McKee or Grier), what moves do you think could be made? Keep in mind we don't have a lot of cap room. Anyone hear any reliable rumors or even have any good, realistic ideas? This article is decent regarding what losing Gaustad would mean to the team... Gaustad lost for season.
  4. Yep. As someone who grew up in the food service industry (did every restaurant job there was), and bartended and waited my way thru college and law school, you always tip on the full amount, NOT the discounted amount. And its funny, the best tippers are always folks who worked in the restaurant business.
  5. See Harper, Nick. Played in the Cover 2, well regarded by Polian, perfect fit for the Bills.
  6. So, lemme get this straight. Her lawyer buddy, Howard Stern (not the radio guy) is the last one with her son before he dies of pills that **may or may not** have been given to him by Stern. Then, a month later, the dude marries Anna Nicole and claims to be her baby's daddy. Now, Anna Nicole collapses suddenly and dies. So this Stern guy, as her husband, is probably legally entitled to her estate, which would include the claim on the oil money. Is that about right?
  7. You mean like George Seifert at the airport?
  8. I thought about this in relation to our G situation. I would love to have Reuben back on a reasonable 2-3 year contract. Spend the big bucks on a RG (Diehlman), take a 2nd or 3rd round LG for Brown to show the ropes and away we go. The thing is, will Reuben be any better (or cheaper) than Gandy? I don't really know the answer to that question (OL gurus please chime in here). Also, if we took a draft pick at LG, Gandy may easily become a backup because he is versatile. Reuben is not.
  9. Anyone solve this thing yet? I made it to Level V, but hitting the stone closest to the tree is a pain.
  10. Huh? Yes, I have season tickets (split with a friend in Pittsburgh, 4 games each per year) and yes I pay a PSL (the seats are in the Jim Kelly club). This is not news. Some seats require a PSL and some do not.
  11. Don't pour the sauce on the wings. Put them in tupperware, dump in the sauce and shake it up. This ensures an even coating of the good sauce. I tend to use Anchor Bar sauce ordered from the web, with a little extra Frank's Red Hot (the xtra hot one). Never really tried the oven thing. Always right from the deep fryer, dabbed on paper towels to take some of the grease off, shaken and served.
  12. Except for the whole Mayflower, midnight run outta Baltimore thing right? How'd you feel if ol Ralph did that to us? It sickens me that the Benedict Arnolds of the NFL...the Modells and the Irsays, have held the Super Bowl trophy.
  13. Great, so if Buddy is correct, then meathead sent our starting LG and our Strength and Considitioning Guru to the Bears. What a fugged up era in Bills history.
  14. Way I see it, JP showed significant progress from Game 1 to Game 16. He was a totally different QB, and yes, he was consistent. Grossman was all over the board.
  15. BUt I think Flutie would have given Chicago a better chance to win!!
  16. Oh my, you guys are absolutely right!! How could I have been so blind, if we had just made Reich the starter, we would have won 4 or more Super Bowls. How collosally stupid of me to overlook the fact that Jim Kelly is to be chiefly blamed for our Super Bowl failures.
  17. I agree. He's a very good special teamer and is really a LB in name only, much like Mario Haggan. We want our special teams to stay dominant, we we have to pay those guys too. Much like the folks who want Sam Aiken or Josh Stamer cut...they are very good special teams players.
  18. And you know that Kelly gave less than 100% on the field how?
  19. Then don't. Why? These guys are entertainers, not role models. Anyone who sees differently needs to have their priorities re-examined. Which is? Jim was totally dedicated to the team and his on-field performance. Off the field is...sorry, none of your business. You may want to know, due to idle celeb-worship, but it is truly none of your business.
  20. Again, back to my point...rot in hell TD, I wish we still had Rueben and Phat Pat. No way they ever wear another uniform if Levy was the GM at the time.
