  1. Cover 2 = prevent. 1. All DB's at least 10 yards off the LOS? Check. 2. Speedy, lightweight CBs playing the short and mid zones passes, and ready to tackle RBs that have a head of steam? Check. 3. Slower, heavier safeties in place to combat shifty, speedy WRs that have a head of steam? Check. 4. LBs in position to contain and not attack? Check.
  2. When the crowd at an away game is howling its' collective lungs out, it's difficult for the center (or whatever lineman) to set initial line assignments and for the qb to call the planned play over the cacophony. Errors occur.
  3. You'll have to figure out the best way to lock the gate. If there's a utility pole only accessible from your yard, that locked gate will make your neighbors angry if it blocks repair access from the utilities and cable folks. Be sure to ask your ins. co. about fence heights (4 ft. might be deemed inadequate). Also ask the town authorities about zoning.
  4. Soldier wore 3 uniforms during WWII Cliff Radel, Cincinati Enquirer Sept. 1, 2009 Old soldiers never die. They just fade into memories. "At age 92, Mieczyslaw "Mietek" Wnuk is an old, old soldier. Before the years took their toll, he held vivid memories of what happened on this day 70 years ago. "Early in the morning of Sept. 1, I was awakened by the sound of a plane flying over our house." The plane brandished a Nazi German swastika. September had just begun. And, so had World War II."... http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2009083...wore+3+uniforms
  5. Good man! Be sure to factor in the cost of fencing, or upgrading what you have. Check with your homeowner policy carrier before you spring for a pool. There are liability items to discuss.
  6. Well - if they spent 16 quarters of football so far without trying out different blitz packages, without pitching a few long balls etc., and seeing which players do well or poorly in the hope of pulling the wool over the Pat's* eyes, they should be collectively carted off to the funny farm.
  7. That's right. This could be a preview of this year's SB match-up.
  8. Yes way. PGH humiliated them. Instigate a rumble to get back some respect for your players and the team they play for. Sour grapes? You bet. So what? Just because it seems that the club doesn't have all the pieces to make a run for it, doesn't mean they have to stand for being fodder and looking like fools.
  9. Tax rates based on amount of income, and why 40%+ of the population pays no taxes at all, and a good percentage of that get awarded money. Liberals, the Democratic Party likes to espouse justice and equality. Why do they fight for this discrimination?
  10. Stanford? See grade inflation... http://gradeinflation.com/
  11. When the TOP is something like 40 minutes to 20, and a shutout...there is no room for praise for any player. Maybin made some plays, I am told - nice. They "doubled" him, yet maintained possession AFAIK. The Bills got shoved around. O, D, ST. PS game #3 (#4 for them. I know) . I would feel better if they would have picked a fight - an on-field melee. Show some spunk (and not the vulgar usage).
  12. Let's hope a rookie's eyes got widened and lessons learned. I suspect so. Maybin is no jive punk, IMO.
  13. Seems that the PGH staff watched an unknown force for a while, then figured out how to smack him down.
  14. I see few BUF games. Reading what you say, my guess is that they are compensating for the OL, and keeping wrs in close to chip in a shot on a rusher if needed. Goes against the current NFL trend, calling fades, fade stops, and using the sideline, I suppose.
  15. Here's the kit: 1. $3.00 bag of ice. Wrap it with cloth toweling for insulation. 2. Plastic garbage bag to hold same. 3. Several small terry towels. You can dip the toweling in the frigid liquid for a cold wipe anytime you feel the need. Put one on your head if you like. When it warms up, evaporative cooling takes over.
  16. Who knows what his contract provisions re getting fired are? Would Wilson have to honor the full contract value? Would Wilson do that? I know that Brown in CIN simply will not can a coach under contract, although he has tried to say in the past, that coaches voluntarily quit. The most notable being Sam Wyche. Brown claimed that in a heated meeting, Wyche quit, and wouldn't pay out the contract. Sam sued and won. Same with players - some are kept on a roster because of the financial loss incurred with a cut, even though a cheaper player might be a better performer.
  17. I assume the man paid, and he signed the title as the buyer. I don't know if sonny was a minor, but NEVER sell a vehicle to a minor. They can't enter into contracts.
  18. And why they even tried one escapes sense.
  19. Is the Chroisen One warming up?
  20. Really. PGH shows 9 of 13 conversions vs. BUF at 0 - 6.
  21. PGH is using the no-huddle as it's supposed to be used. As a change of pace.
  22. PGH is getting some return yards, though. I wonder - has he been kicking line drives?
  23. TOP 11:26 vs 3:34. No-huddle must be tiring out the PGH D by now...
