  1. Well...just as long as it wasn't euthanistic. I would miss you.
  2. The craftsman using the adze to frame up beams was tops!
  3. Yes - about 20 years ago. I don't recall about needing tickets for Colonial Wms'burg. If so, buy 'em. It's quite interesting.
  4. Yep. I've noticed him keeping his head more or less straight ahead, and a receiver cutting across. Nice timing. It's a shame about TO's injury. I've always felt that work lost in camp and preseason between the starting qb and starting receivers hurts.
  5. R.I.P.
  6. Pfft. I sleep the sleep of the innocents.
  7. What moves a man, to write such a lengthy post?
  8. Probably with opponents zeroing in on TO and busting him into pieces.
  9. NO. He was CIN's HC for a while. He's a low-key man, and was run over roughshod by the players. I realize that CIN is a F'd up organization, but he was hands-off to the max.
  10. I liked her. She played the role as a good-hearted soul who loved her husband and her children. What do you want from a 1/2 hour sitcom?
  11. That's proper usage. http://englishplus.com/grammar/00000223.htm
  12. Are you an electrolyte?
  13. Ssicks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.
  14. Doesn't VH-1 have drug company ads offering coupons for ritalin scripts?
  15. I made a bundle on Andrew. An oil stock, Mesa Offshore Trust - I bought 2,000 shares at 25 cents - had their Gulf platforms spared. They were able to sell their output at a huge premium to the big boys who had futures contract obligations come due. I still own it; I have the 2K share certificate in my hand. It's something like 13 cents now, and the trust is being dissolved.
  16. That's right. And you can squeeze the bottle between the legs, and use the good hand.
  17. Unless he drinks screw-cap wine like me, he should be OK.
  18. The most innocent of comments gets savaged here...
  19. Flashbulbs. The AG-1 was a leap forward, and then the Flashcube. I always liked the smell wafting from a fired flashbulb. Not quite as good as the amyl acetate coming off a mimeograph - but not bad. Original Jujubes. The hard ones that you could crack with your teeth - not today's translucent softies.
  20. Yes - unless you are instituting a new offensive scheme, and have a substantially new OL. Given that, you better d*mn well use your preseason to try to square things up.
  21. What are you looking for? Truck or rail transport? Nobody rates overland container costs and satisfictation unless they are in industry. If you want a personal vehicle shipped in a container and bound properly for transport, you're the thing of dreams for freight forwarders. Peel off 5 grand.
  22. Yeah - he was a real piece of washed-up junk when he left BUF and their spiff defense... http://www.nfl.com/players/takeospikes/profile?id=SPI270805
  23. I give current contract obligations due where current contract obligations are due. Sorry, don't mean to be a wise guy - but it's fact that when the final cuts come, monies owed counts in the decisions. So Ellison may end up on the roster because of the $$$ aspect, if he has contract dough due if they axe him.
