For all the grief McDermott took for his post game comments after the first Pats game, local Boston media is in it's own denial phase today. Saying it was a one-time good game by Allen and that he can't be counted on to perform.

He might not have been actually partying. It's still a bad look. Even with all that I wouldn't NOT play him this season. We need all hands on deck. Next year is a different story.

Tim Graham is a Grade-A narcissistic man-child. A good writer but a miserable human otherwise. It's curious to me how all the Bills writers close ranks when one of their own, often Jerry Sullivan, gets called out. There's is no justification for Sullivan's behavior towards players. It's unprofessional. That his fellow writers feel the need to stick up for his boorish behavior says a lot.

We caught a break on the Hughes non-roughing call. Everything else looked fairly called.

Looking ahead at the next two weeks worth of games, assuming no major upsets, the Bills will end up 3rd seed and would host...the #6 Patriots.

There's not much for us to do but take care of our own business. We'll land where we land. Hopefully the right teams will lose.
