Agree. Band was top notch but Donald can't hit those high notes anymore. Saw them in Boston recently. They did the entire Aja album. I just saw Sparks yesterday and was blown away by them. Not just by Russell Mael's voice which is still great but the songwriting of Ron Mael. The man is a genius.

I tried to verify this, just to be sure I didn't remember this wrong...and I think I'm wrong. So disregard.

only 8 seats unsold as of this morning. I have to believe it sold out. I hope they do ask RJ to do a playoff game if, mercifully, it happens next year.

Will Smith slaps Chris Rock at the OscarsPromoTheRobot replied to Big Blitz's topic in Off the Wall Chris Rock played Boston last night. I was going to see Sparks at a theater across the street from where he was performing. There was so many TV trucks and camera crews on the street, you'd think the president was going to do a press conference. They were still out there after the Sparks concert.

8 seats away from a sellout Friday for RJ's night.

It's been proven you can pitch a no-hitter while tripping balls.
-
	Well that's different.

Cheapest seats for Boston are over $100. Gonna pass.
-
	Not yet.

Both were done in markets where the chances of making back the investment were high. Dozens on non-football events are staged in AT&T and SoFi stadiums. COuld you say the same about WNY? The Final Four? A Super Bowl? Neither would come here. Without public money Buffalo would have no pro sports at all.

You have to think of PSL's as a user's contribution to the cost of construction. I mean if you are a season ticket holder you get more benefit from a new stadium than someone who doesn't.

Soldier field was rebuilt from the ground up. All that is original are the roman columns at the gate. It's only 20 years old. I believe Bills STHers get first crack by seniority.

Can you imagine trying to decide who to draft, hire, sign, trade, etc?
-
And lose two years of earnings, not to mention push your pro free agency down two more years. Then there's the risk of injury or just falling off in play. All for what? Not playing in Buffalo? You wouldn't want to be part of this squad? Especially with goalie as the biggest hole?

I saw that. I've seen RM on their last tour (excellent) as well as the last Bryan Ferry solo tour (Very good but the voice is slipping.) Debating whether to go to this.

They aren't getting $350MM in seat licences. I will guess those are worth $120MM. ($2000 avg PSL X 60,000)

The lots west of Abbot are large enough. If anything, Hammer's Lot will become even closer to the stadium. That said, some developer could bring a wheelbarrow of money to his door. OP makes sense because the land is there to use. Going anywhere else you have to buy property, deal with local rules, angry NIMBY's, etc. I wish it were downtown, or even Amherst so they could share it with UB. But I get why OP.
