FYI, sometime in summer UB football runs a flash sale on tickets. $13 incl fees for any game. That's like less than half price. I'll post something when they announce it. I don't know anyone in the Athletic department but dealing with them, even just buying a ticket at the box office for basketball, gives a vibe that they aren't the best organized group. And forget about getting nice merch. Not to mention there's different merch depending if you buy online or in-person at the campus bookstore. They really need to correct that. Offer more and a better selection online. That's just basic.

I suppose they could redevelop that stadium site. There's value in being on a rail line that gets you to SF easy.

Can't argue with that. The events beyond football they can hold in that stadium will pay that investment off. Because it's Nashville, a real destination, and not just a parking lot in a rumdum suburb. They were not. Read their history. For one thing, there was never an "expansion derby" for that team, with cities vying for it. It was just announced one day that San Jose was getting a team because it was being "un-merged" from the Minnesota North Stars by owner George Gund
