LOLOL - I've already had two emails about planning an "away" game for Green Bay! I'm all for it. But game tix could be very difficult. I would go up for the weekend simply for the experience, try to plan a stadium tour on Saturday, party with all the GB fans in their incredible tailgates. Depends on which month the game falls in.

There's no comparison in personality either. Josh is a polite, well mannered, all around nice guy. Andre is an A$$ all the way.

That's what all opposing team's fans say. You just smile back and say "Yep". We go to lots of away games and never have a problem.

I must be a terrible parent. If I were you, I would take the kid to a kid friendly sports bar - buy him a batch of wings and a coke and watch the game with him. Then write a note for school the next day apologizing for him being late. My kids are all grown now - but my youngest son - the Bills fan - still remembers those late Monday night games watching and yelling with Mom. I also used to let him cut 1/2 day for the opening day of the Bisons.

I can't remember. It was either November or December of 1987. I had just relocated from So. Cal to Buffalo in mid October and my friends at work wanted to "convert' me from baseball to football. I hated football. Being a big Aussie Rules fan - I was frustrated by the slowness of the game - all the breaks in the action and all that padding! But I went anyway because the ticket was free and they invited me to tailgate - figured if I drank enough I could almost enjoy the game. I don't know who we played but it was damned cold. It was something about the fever of the fans and the blue collar people who were so refreshing after all the fakes in So. Cal. It reminded me of the same kind of fever and incredible team loyalty that I had experienced in Australia. Felt like I had "come home". The Bills won that game and they hooked me......I still feel that loyalty and fever every time I go back for the home opener.

If you had ever talked to Josh Reed in person you would never even think this.

And I'd root for the Saints to win so that Jabari Greer could have a SB ring.

I'd rather have someone who has recent success than someone who was a winning coach back in time. Remember how excited the Washington team and fans were to have Joe Gibbs back? Remember how excited we were to have Marv back in the front office? It's about what they're doing now, the potential for the future and the right "chemistry". Not about past success with a different system and different players. Just my .02

My youngest son had a "big brother" for about 2 years until we moved out of New York state. I have only good things to say about this program. And as a parent, I'm in favor of very strict background checks. I wish we could have had that kind of scrutiny for boy scout leaders as well.
