    We’ve got technology in baseball that shows the distance, trajectory and path of home runs. Tennis has Hawkeye that can show the ball to within millimeters of the lines. The nfl on the other hand still relies on the chain gang to measure first downs and subjective ref eyes staring up at goalposts to assess field goals. Enough said

    The whole situation sucks. It’s too bad he was injured multiple times early on in camp when he would’ve completed for the spot. Once the season started he never got the shot again and became disgruntled. At minimum thought he would still be good depth in case of injury but that is now lost too.

    Yes, i think you're absolutely correct. During the game, i assumed the ref had a bad angle and thought Dawkins yanked the defender down by his arms. But this video shows the ref having a perfect view of what Dawkins did. I think that Edwards piling on and restricting him was when he decided to throw the flag.

    We have this tendency. Sign a good player at a decent cap hit with starter to contributor level expectations and basically never use them.

    Both still very good receivers if given the opportunity. And that’s the rub. I have little faith in Brady scheming enough targets for Cooper. He struggles with this in general. Kincaid should be getting double what he gets now. Reid on the other hand will continue to make it happen for DHop.

    Just horrible. Easy knockdown and he tries to catch it instead with no awareness

    Even if by the letter of the rules, they were technically holding (which I have serious doubts about), the eye test says otherwise. I feel both were ticky tack calls. This type of stuff happens on every play and the fact they called them back to back on successive plays is mind blowing. I saw multiple holds that were 10 times worse that went uncalled during the game.
