  1. Tyler Bass needs get his head out of his ass also.
  2. Seen this game so many times…always the same outcome. And the coach never learns.
  3. I was also at the game as a 10 year old…my first game ever. We were walking out of our seats and in the aisle, so didn’t really see everything that happened, but the celebration was fun. I also remember it was damn cold.
  4. Joe Brady should be taking notes for our match up later this year with Dallas. Wash has been most successful with quick passing and rollouts to neutralize the Dallas pass rush.
  5. Run perfectly. Gotta give credit for that one
  6. Why?? I point you to the first line of the article: “A tiger cannot change his stripes.” The man is stubborn.
  7. Nothing many of us didn’t already know but I like some of the supporting detail he put around it. McD has always been a control freak. He is set in his philosophy. I was frankly shocked that he let Daboll open up the offense in 2020 or it’s possible that Daboll went rogue, thus the friction between them. And there is no doubt in my mind that he had a hand in Dorsey’s offense. And I’m pretty sure I know what will happen with Brady’s offense….
  8. Sure, there won't be an overhaul of the offense. But there are still opportunities to pick and choose types of plays, tempo, personnel.
  9. Absolutely agree with all of this. He is a total control freak. Players fumble from time to time. He treated it like Cook fumbles every other carry. Totally hurt our offense in the first half.
  10. Funny thing is, in the segment with McAfee today, he said he is interested in and hopes to get a shot at an NFL OC job some day.
  11. Matt Rhule wanted him to run 30-33 times a game lol Why did the Panthers fire Joe Brady? https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/joe-brady-fired-panthers-offensive-coordinator/1q5f340etpzj61869m1s12ri06
  12. But will McD let him.....that is the big question mark.
  13. We're pretty close to the floor already
  14. Maybe just maybe, he can look at Josh's strengths and get back to those. - Play action from under center - Designed rollouts and QB keepers - Stop making him overthink things and be a dinker - Maybe take a shot downfield once in a while
  15. Any insight on his philosophy, coahing style, etc... welcome. Or is he just going to be a McD puppet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Brady_(American_football_coach) Coaching career New Orleans Saints In 2017, Brady was hired by the New Orleans Saints as an offensive assistant under head coach Sean Payton. LSU In 2019, Brady joined head coach Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers as their passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach.[1][2] Recognized as the top assistant coach during the 2019 college football season, Brady was honored with the 24th annual Broyles Award.[5] Subsequently, he emerged as a leading candidate for numerous offensive coordinator vacancies in the NFL,[6][7] but eventually agreed to a three-year contract extension with LSU.[8] Carolina Panthers On January 16, 2020, Brady was hired by the Carolina Panthers as their offensive coordinator under head coach Matt Rhule.[9] The Panthers were selected to coach in the 2021 Senior Bowl, but Brady missed the game due to COVID-19 protocols.[10] On December 5, 2021, Brady was fired by the Panthers.[11] Buffalo Bills On February 4, 2022, Brady was hired by the Buffalo Bills as their quarterbacks coach, replacing Ken Dorsey after his promotion to offensive coordinator. After Dorsey's mid-season firing in the 2023 season, Brady was promoted to interim offensive coordinator.[12]
  16. Yes, that’s what I suspected. Such a refreshing thread to look at the issues objectively with facts and analysis instead of the “fire everybody and jump off the cliff” posts. Appreciate the work you put into this.
  17. @HoofHearted, great insight. Thank you. In your opinion, is offensive play design/play calling ok? Is Josh seeing the progressions or are there plays to be had? In other words, is it Dorsey, Josh, overall offensive execution, or a combination of things?
  18. Agree on McD’s influence. Josh’s press conferences are starting to sound exactly like McD’s with the same talking points It’s hard to win in this league Theyre getting paid on the other side too Need to look at the film Complimentary football Humble and hungry Need to trust the process Blah blah blah
  19. Clear holding on Norman but whatever. Just not our night.
  20. Look at that, play with urgency and it pays off. Do this at the start and sustain it the whole game
