  1. Mahomes, Herbert, Lamar "4 ints in a half" Jackson
  2. At least they're only burning first half timeouts, and doing it on offense.
  3. It must be nice to have play-calling that adjusts to what the opponent is giving up.
  4. Most of us are rooting for the Bills. A couple, for the Pats. But rooting for the refs is a new one.
  5. Taron got suckered by watching the QB eyes
  6. I mean if they don't get the Bill getting tackled right next to Jones...
  7. Late hits and full body weight, might as well go for the gusto.
  8. How do we not have competent Edmunds?
  9. Failure reminds me a bit of the Kinks, they don't really have any clunkers but don't get the cachet they should Which makes me think of other underrated stuff, just a piledriver riff And these guys were just better than I expected as an opening act, so sure, have a plug.
  10. Baker may be getting his own plane back home too, but for different reasons. 😆
  11. I’m pretty sure it’s coaching, Bills cast offs go elsewhere and show out, Occam’s Razor.
  12. Oof, that Colt went down like he was out before he hit the turf.
  13. I agree, but I can see where you just don’t wanna give the sound bite just in case. There have been freakouts over what people thought they heard, like the one fan at the baseball game yelling to the mascot was mis-heard over the mic and became a news story and he got doxxed and threatened. I feel bad for the kid, if his name was Hitler it probably would be 100x less a problem. I am just glad the Browns aren’t gonna be a problem, since they held all the tiebreaks in the afc. Sucks that the Mafia Football League had to decide it the way they did. Ok Colts, your turn to go out and get hosed to get our new media darlings back in the mix…
  14. Buck and Aikman are the most relieved guys in the stadium that they won’t have to say “congratulations to the young Cleveland kicker who just won the game in his first NFL start!” “Right you are Joe, I think a game like this will give this young kicker a great confidence boost and I’m sure we’ll be seeing him again, even if we never hear his name”
  15. There should be a photoshop with “k*ckers” Yeah he will annoy the hell out of me if the Browns in 25-24. Although in Cleveland they’ll be saying “that’s my kicker!”
  16. It’s kind of funny how much Buck and Aikman are avoiding referring to the Cleveland kicker. Like tap dancing in a minefield 🤣
  17. That’s a nice one; Balvenie price point is tough to justify most times. Have become a fan of Glenfiddich 15 year solera. Just picked up a Kirkland 24 year expression. Might get into it if the Bills get to the AFC Championship again.
  18. That’s Europe for you. The American Christmas wartime tradition involves crossing frozen rivers in the dark to slit the enemy’s throats.
  19. I mean, it's not like the Butcher Cover or something, but would fetch 20-40 bucks now.
  20. Interesting album title. Paired with content, no way I don’t draw the connection to a great example of late 90’s pop/psych One other thing came to mind, from that era where some bands weren't really bands, just a producer and studio musicians. This one was Gary Usher who watched Brian Wilson in action and stole some ideas (and maybe some master tapes?). Glen Campbell and Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys touring ensemble and LA Wrecking Crew helps with the heavy lifting.
  21. Ah that's a derp. I suppose i forgot to drop a holiday tune so, owing to the obscure ex-Beatles songs jag...
  22. Buck Dharma is criminally underrated as a guitar god. But they did get to hang out with Patti Smyth (Allen Lanier more so than the rest) while she was in full Gilda Radner SNL mode.
  23. I’m positive I’ve heard this. Holy crap. But probably not since 1979 at Home Of The Hits and only because they were letting Mark Freeland pick the tunes or something like that. I can only think of one other track with Leatherette in the name.
  24. There was that Helmet vid up there, and their thing was prolonging the silences makes the noise noisier. Which naturally (??) led me to think of posting another track from London Calling with a similar pastiche. Odd you reference that very album a few posts on. and thinking about the album, they did a Vince Taylor cover but my favorite version of the song was this careening, barely held-together slopfest by Rory Storm and it’s absolutely glorious.
