The thought was, he'd need quite a bit of technique work, but here he is starting for Seattle at the boundary, because he's bigger and faster than pretty much any receiver that isn't DK Metcalf. Crazy traits, ran mid 4.2's at 6'4". Wouldn't have blinked if Beane wanted him in round 3, or even 2.

DaQuil is the anchor against the run Star wasn't. Settle and J Phillips are upfield disruptors. Von actually grades out incredibly well against the run. Lawson is known as a solid contain defender on the edge. The key loss is Harry, an excellent run defender. If DaQuil replaces him/Star for a wash, that's terrific and so far he looks good. But the rest of last years replacements - Addison to Lawson, Hughes to Von, Obada/Star/Zimmer to Settle/Phillips, I think you can call an upgrade vs run and pass.
