  1. It was never stated that the color change was by request of Ferguson.
  2. The blue on the flag is a dark blue, close to what the Bills currently use, so they do have the flag's colors on the current unis. Berman doesn't know what he's talking about (as usual).
  3. Yes, and at best Green Bay will just get a pretty good OLB out of Matthews. After all, he was lighter than Miller going into his draft.
  4. A) I'm discussing Miller, not Maybin. B) I'm responding to 1billsfan contention that Miller has a "little body." I don't think he needs to bulk up, but using Matthews as an example of someone with similar body type showing how he gained some weight as a pro. More than likely he'll gain 5-10 pounds as a pro; I doubt he would play heavier than 255, which is only 9 pounds more than he is now. C) I have absolutely no clue what your Green Bay comment is supposed to mean.
  5. Von Miller- Height: 6ft 2 5/8in; Weight: 246; 40-Time: 4.53 Clay Matthews (pre-draft measurements)- Height 6ft 3in; Weight: 240; 40-Time: 4.62 Matthews has since bulked up to 255; there's no reason Miller can't do the same.
  6. I hear he's not too fond of you, either.

  8. I'm not so sure about this. Channel 4 interviewed an estate attorney a few years ago regarding this, and he said that stipulations can be made in his will to give preference to one group over others in an estate sale. He made it sound as though Ralph does have the power to state his preference that the team is sold to a local group. Whether Ralph has actually done this is up for speculation. Any attorneys out there want to chime in on this?
  9. He's listed as 6'3" 220lbs. Hardly Flutie-esque.
  10. You must be thinking of baseball. I don't ever remember 2.5 hour games (possibly pre-1980, if you go back that far), and 1pm games today rarely hit 4:30pm (with OT), let alone 5pm. Getting rid of all public subsidies for every team would be a start.
  11. It hasn't been established what the 2012 draft order would be in the event of no 2011 season. I highly doubt the draft order would be "locked." I suspect there would be a weighted lottery, similar to what the NHL had after their lost season.
  12. Maybe he would like to experience being the owner of the Sabres first.
  13. There was a QB taken in the third round in 2007. How quickly we forget... (or blot out of our memory).
  14. I stopped reading that blog after the third "whilst."
  15. Clip Smith would have been proud!
  16. There's alot to hate about Jerry Jones, for sure, but remember that the league was totally in charge of this year's Super Bowl, not Jerry.
  17. Which they will have to pay back, with interest, if the season is canceled. Also, from everything I've read, uniform changes require one year, not two.
  18. Flutie will never get in, because the CFL is considered an inferior league. Williams and Winfield have each been elected to 3 Pro Bowls, and are 38 and 33 respectively. It's highly unlikely either will put up a résumé worthy of HOF induction.
  19. Once upon a time the Sabres drafted a kid named Keith Gretzky. Never played in the NHL.
  20. The proposed Hamilton stadium is tagged at $115 million. A 70K-seat NFL-quality open-air stadium would cost at least $500 million, and probably much more. That's a big jump.
  21. This front office has been far from perfect, and has already made some questionable calls, but I'll just say this... If the Saints wanted Lynch, and it was widely known that the Bills were shopping him, then why didn't they call the Bills with an offer? Just sayin'.
  22. No one was saying any of those QBs were "best in years" at the time of the draft. Even with Bradford last year, while he was the consensus number one player and QB, no one was calling him the next Peyton Manning or John Elway. The Luck hype machine is putting him in Elway/Manning territory. If he's there at #3 take him.
  23. Yes, because we all saw how much momentum the Bills got this year from winning last year's finale vs. the Colts.
  24. Expect Williamsville North grad Rob Gronkowski to see the ball thrown his way many times today.
  25. The reasons you listed are why it wasn't a sellout.
