  1. I don't think anyone would mind a josh palmer if we drafted worthy and had Pickens and TJ Sanders actually looked like an impact player. It's just a few moves but it makes all of the difference
  2. I'm praying that TJ Sanders and Walker develop fast enough before the playoffs and Bosa gets to 100% but I feel like I'm just grasping at unrealistic optimism.... Same with Hairston who seems talented but he's kinda going through his own camp right now. I don't know what they're going to do if we lose vs the Steelers and this thing goes backwards
  3. Quinnen Williams was awesome for Dallas. Man I wish we would've given the jets whatever for him.
  4. Because beane is not drafting well If TJ Sanders was playing like a Jalen Carter this wouldn't be an issue . ( THEY TRADED UP FOR HIM) The roster is in bigger trouble than I realized after really focusing on other teams today. Nobody wants to hear this but we might need to actually trade down a few times to get like 10-12 picks this off-season and basically retool the roster. Then hopefully have two deep draft classes to them go on a more serious run in 2027.... Don't get me wrong Josh Allen can take us pretty far and if he gets hot he is capable of taking us to the super bowl but I'm just trying to be realistic. I think this roster needs a lot more work than all of us are willing to admit. I'll be the first one to say I was probably wrong on a few players
  5. If Bosa took his cast off I'm assuming it's close to healing so I think this is just for depth on the ps . I'm guessing fox gets called up and shaq goes to the ps Bernard and Brown going to ir opens up a couple spots too
  6. Go watch the Dallas highlights. Our perimeter talent at wr, cb, and pass rush isn't even close to Dallas. Bosa & $$$ Rousseau, benford better start making plays starting vs Pittsburgh. Epenesa, etc If they don't elevate their play on the pass rush or stop the run I don't know how we're supposed to compete for a title Kincaid and maybe Shavers / Coleman developing is all I got for offense. Idk
  7. It makes me really really upset seeing Dallas get Pickens and trade for Quinnen Williams and now I'm hearing that the bills are working out shaq lawson.... 🤢
  8. I'm sitting here watching all these games today , guys like Pickens, AJ Brown, Xavier worthy, Devonta Smith, Tee Higgins All making insane game changing plays. It really is eye opening in a disturbing way. Why on God's green Earth does Beane & McDermott not want this???? If Allen takes these guys to the super bowl, yes I'm saying it right now he's the greatest QB that's ever lived. I couldn't even enjoy football today seeing all these massive plays wide receivers are making. It makes me feel sick 🤢 Even just watching Dallas as a roster look way better than ours makes me realize how bad beane has been the past number of years. It's eye opening and it pisses me off
  9. Patriots had tons of critical injuries today.... Gotta win vs Pittsburgh. This is why I never wanted to trade Van Demark, Anderson or Grable
  10. Patriots just lost both their Lt and lg for the year. NT is out with a pec injury and Milton Williams is out multiple weeks....
  11. Looks like the pats starting Nt, and left side of their oline is out for the year.... Milton Williams is on ir too.
  12. Firing a 2nd oc would look even worse for McDermott. Firing the OC after record setting offensive production & efficiency says something about the self scouting process by McDermott. You obviously should've anticipated an adjustment to your strengths and obviously didn't prepare.... No matter how you look at it, it's a reflection of McDermott. This is his philosophy
  13. This is where I'm at. As frustrating as this season has been they absolutely have an incredible chance to get to the super bowl with the state of where the AFC is right now. If anything going in as a road wildcard would take a lot of pressure off.... There is no excuse to not get in. I'm exactly where you are at. And if they get in, I'm actually optimistic a little. Joke is on Tampa then lol
  14. Joey bosa will get healthy before the playoffs too assuming he doesn't have any set backs. That cast is off but he's still not 💯 .... When he is, he's a massive massive difference maker in the playoff equation. He can still take a game over similar to what he did vs KC In a playoff game all it takes is a couple ff or sacks to change a game A fully healthy Bosa, Rousseau and Epenesa can generate an organic pass rush. But they all need to be 100%
  15. This is why if things break the bills way just a bit, the young guys on defense continue to develop I see a possible run similar to what KC did in 23.... The issues are extremely similar and the cynicism before the playoffs started were similar. Only problem ppl forgot all the success and pedigree of the QB Only concern is can the defense do anything resembling any type of run or possible turnover luck in the playoffs. Ive lost faith in the defense ( in the playoffs) But that KC team had the QB take a step back, they had even more serious wrs issues and a passing game built around a 34 year old te. That KC oline also lost thuney in the playoffs. KC also didn't have some devastating pass rush outside Jones. The issue is can benford get to 100% before the playoffs start and will hairston continue to develop to the point of a borderline shut down cb in the playoffs ... Can younger guys on defense like, Solomon, TJ Sanders, Walker, Mathis , Logue, Dorian Williams, Andressen, Jenkins, Hairston, Bishop , Hancock, Couch, rise up and add something come playoff time? I don't know... The Tampa game gave me substantial hope. The last 5 mins of the Baltimore game, the defense vs KC, etc.... it's definitely there.
  16. I could honestly see Allen lighting up the Steelers secondary
  17. Alex van pelt was an NFL QB for a long time and has oc experience. There's more higher ceiling names but I wouldn't mind him. Same with Frank
  18. I mean is it really terrible if he's on the ps? Seems we've bigger issues
  19. Allen will probably light up the Steelers for 400 yds
  20. The 2021 bills were 7-6. Got blown out by the colts & lost 9-6 vs a terrible jags team. Not necessarily transitive and someone probably already gave this example. But it's worth thinking about The 88 49ers were 6-5 and lost to a tough bears team 10-9 The 2011 giants were completely lost at 7-7 The 23 chiefs lost to the o'connell raiders on Christmas 20-14. They were 8-6 The 92 bills The 2001 patriots came out of nowhere, they were 6-5 2007 giants 2018 patriots 2005 Steelers 83 raiders The 20 bucs & 21 rams had mid season issues
  21. I would like to see more no huddle, but anything similar to the k gun and trying to copy what they did is more nostalgic than a substantive offensive strategy More than anything the Tampa game needs to be the core identity of the offense. They went back into their conservative ways vs Houston in 1st down run %, and no passes downfield that go beyond 15-20 air yards. They had 1 pass behind the line of scrimmage vs Tampa. They had multiple vs the Texans.... They did this to prevent turnovers and to protect the defense, and to allegedly protect the qb Well everything they feared manifested. Until that changes with the HC, I don't see a super bowl run. McDermott needs to learn to lean into the chaotic nature of the 13 second game or the Tampa game last week. He needs to get comfortable with scoring fast and getting big plays. Think the lions game last year...He needs to get comfortable trying to win aggressively and not going into a game with the mindset of worrying about turnovers or protecting his defense. Again everything they did vs Tampa was counterintuitive to the identity they built. Yet they were a couple plays from blowing out Tampa and still won by 12. The bills gameplan played right into the Texans hands by shortening the game and in turn magnifying the bills mistakes. Buffalo won the time of possession vs the Texans and won the rushing battle but lost Vs Tampa they Lost the turnover battle Lost the rushing battle Lost the TOP battle But they won because they scored 44 points in 23 mins...
  22. I can def definitely see the pats losing 1 or two besides buffalo & Baltimore. We'll see how it unfolds
