Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
JP51 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ravens, I think that the Chiefs right now have their back against the wall with the way the Chargers are playing... I think we need to root for the Chargers to lose at this point as well... so I gotta go Ravens to lose competition in the Central is weak and getting weaker with Burrow out... Steelers are pretending, Cleveland is a fire drill, Cinci without Burrow is gonna be hard pressed to split with them... I think they come out of their division 7-1 maybe 6-2 -
I think D Hop gets in right away
-
Yeah the only way Schoen stays is if the team turns it around and Daboll does as well... I think their fates are linked and they will be the first ones to go If Miami beats the Jets this week... If the Phins lose and badly... McDaniel is your next contestant on Jeopardy! Thanks Ken! I will take Mammals that swim for 2000

Between him and Ode to Billy Joe...

agreed, the only place I see Wilson going is to theoritically improve a team that wants some depth at QB I think that really any team that trades for him currently with the thought of starting him has to have a QB worse than him with Zero up side... they should probably just save the pick and the pick positions cause they are not going anywhere... I hear the Cinci argument but I dont see him as an improvement out of the gate over a guy that knows the system... Now... the Bills, Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, Rams... whoever in contention wanna take a shot and PS him or make him a 2 just incase... I think that makes more sense at this point... (no I am not saying the Biils should sign RW, no Git er done Beane coming from me lol... Damn that was quick... I am trying to put the sequence together... did Peterman get hurt or just suck that bad...

How long did we wait in Allens rookie year like 4 or 5 games?
-
I think yours is a fair take like literally, if you have a problem how can the QB not be included.... the only point I would bring up is that "Is the offensive game plan to not throw down field" this potentially could remove Allen from the equation, like he is just following the game plan (then this is not a problem, its a design) ... and with 34 points a game I dont think we have a problem. I understand the posters and they eye test... I too am wondering what down field looks like to him.. like are these guys not getting open or is he just taking higher percentage throws by design.... ? I think we are and have been in a everyone wants a superbowl soooo badly that anything else other than complete dominance is not acceptable... and the reality it just doesnt work like that.

I myself am rooting for a tie... LOL... but either way someone is going 0-4 if its not... I think the Phins are worse off than the Jets though... so I guess I am rooting for an 0-4 Jets, just to keep em beat down.... oh hell... who am I kidding, I have no idea who to root for... I am soooo confused... lol

Its hard to argue with the fact we have put up 30 or more points in all of our games... for an average of almost 34 pts a game... I get the thought, the eye test tells us that we are not completing the ball down field as much... I have not seen the breakdown, but it sure feels that way... that said... lots of drops down field I get there are always drops, but geez it seems we have a bunch especially Coleman and Knox.... we have not seen a deep ball or very little... that said, I wonder if its the game plan... control the ball, have 17 get it out quick and not take punishment... especially against team that we are supposed to beat... Baltimore he was lighting it up... then a more conservative ball out approach the next two games... Problem... not sure, don't think so, but if it is its a problem with receivers not 17... JMO

I mean, the peanut vendors were taking cover in the stands on that one.. just sayin...
-
I actually think it was a different one he was pointing for a first down for a while and I saw it and said... oh they gonna fine you for that... just silly... pointing your finger... for a first down... Cmon man... Like if he did pull your gun out of a holster pew pew pew thing I get it... but this is silly... and thats the last I will say... 15k for Josh is like putting a buck in the collection plate lol...

I am pretty much 100% with you here

Hey I am going by what i saw which is clearly not the proper way to evaluate was traveling most of the day I will check out a22

Kinda Love your shout out to Torrence... and Ray Ray has not at all been impressive... Palmer, sneakily was pretty invisible... I am debating if it was the game plan or the egg.... like we really didnt throw much down field... was that the plan... or was that a result... Dolphins do deserve some real gusty credit... for sure.

Will anyone admit to becoming a Bills fan during the Josh Allen era?
JP51 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I never got that... I been a Bills fan since I was 5 my first game was in 73 2nd game the stadium was opened... Moved to Tampa 2 years ago... and am trying to have a secondary team because theoretically that would be my new home town.... and I am struggling... even approaching caring... best I can do is be happy if they win as long as its not against the Bills... and root for them if they are playing any team in the AFC that is close to playoff contention... I probably could have shortened this to.... I am still a Sabres fan... if that cesspool dont make you switch teams nothing will... -
Like the Moore thing, he made a few big and clutch plays for sure... Special teams is another... we are just not real good at kick coverage... Prater gets a pass mis hit kick... he makes a habit out of it and then I have an issue... nice 48 yrder at the end of the game to seal it. This is interesting, one thing I have always said, worry less about the big play and make more stops... You got Josh on the other side... chill... stop with the death from a thousand paper cuts defense... stop em or get beat every now and again... but put 17 on the field....
-
The other thing I would say in defense of Tre but really the secondary, the pass rush was legitimately non existant.... I dont know if that was the 2ndary being really bad, but what i saw was that tua had a ton of time back there...
-
TJ Sanders - with a little bit of John McCargo In the first half I was like damn look at T White in the 2nd half I was like Damn! WTF you doing T White...
-
I think this is true... you literally need to give them space or they will kill you down field... but tre was about 15 yards away on multiple occasions not sure if that is speed or cutting ability... I am hoping he is still recovering and his ability to react will get better.

Several things... I am back and forth between Tampa and Buffalo for work... this was a week I had flown into Buf for the week... I made sure that I packed the nasty unwashed shirt I wore for the previous two games.. THEN I find out my wife who is in Florida did not have hers on... it was in the hamper... I made her go into the dirty clothes and pull that shirt out and put it on (despite the fact she had company over for the game) somewhere in the 2nd half .... 3rdly, my friend Marlene (who I mentioned after the Ravens game) is supposed to be in the bathroom every time we have a kick or a 4th down try.... come to find out since I was not there to direct her she was going into the bathroom whenever the Dolphins had a kick and a 4th down.... I literally went berserk over the phone and clarified the protocol in time for the 4th Q,... I worked really hard this game folks... but you are all worth it...

Who were your top 3 players that made a major impact in the victory and your 3 major disappointments.... (for me I am not going to include Allen... because.. well just because) Up Cook - dominant performance, allowed us to balance the attack and control the clock, inches away from breaking a couple Hawes - outside of the one play he got blown up by the Tackle was a pit bull blocking, caught the ball when he needed two, and enabled the 3 TE set we ran Bernard - yes yes interception, but the rest of his game was great too couple big tackles and was a general menace Down Groot - complete invisibility, limited production, to date not earning his contract... hope he shakes whatever off... Keon - c'mon man you gotta stop dropping footballs in critical situations... some nice catches... but too much left on the table for a guy who we need as a true 1 Whoever is responsible for our tacking - giving up the amount of 3rd and longs we did is really not sustainable if we are ever to go 20- 0 lol... just do better...
-
And depending on how old you are (I do not want to presume 1 way or the other) the Dolphins did the exact same thing to us when we went 0- 70s
-
Sorry my friend.. I am officially worried... but... hey honestly he can only improve from here...
