  1. Not just the AFC, but also NFC teams as well.
  2. Arent you tired of watching bottom feeder teams from just a few years jump ahead of us going to, and some and winning SB's? Do you not think that coaching has a major part in that? I get that under MC D, we have enjoyed success as far as getting into the playoffs, but that is not the end game. The Steelers fans are not content with winning seasons, just like we shouldnt be content with just making it to the playoffs. Beane does not get a pass either!
  3. I know that they wont replace him, but if his defense folds again, depending on how they fold, then he absolutely should get replaced. He is ruining a once and a lifetime franchise, MVP's prime years and I will 100% continue to put the blame on him until he either changes, or is gone. You, like may on this board are content with playoffs. Josh wont be around at peak physicality like hes been for too many more years. Gotta take full advantage now.
  4. I can pull up the quotes from former players that have stated that a College team could've scored on us with the defense we played. Not just their performance personally, but the scheme. If you watch enough NFL over the years, you can see adjustments being made. Our blitzes are comical BTW. The fact that we blitz the same way each and every time, with no real disguises, with the same result should tell you all you need to know about how well we do that.
  5. Do you really think Beane runs the draft? You can clearly see MC D's fingerprints all over the 1st and 2nd round picks. Beane or whoever handles the later rounds, but Coach is running the draft. Best believe that!
  6. Envision it! I have doubts for sure, but my doubts aren't about us not being able too, its if the coaching staff have the right game plan to get what this defense prepared for this team.
  7. Never adjusts the defensive scheme when needing too! It is possible to do, as many DC's that win SB's do in games. If he only knows a Nickel Defense and thats all he will play then that tells you all you need to know. Plus his defense always seems to be unprepared. Look at the top offenses we played this year and tell me how our defense faired? Rams, Detroit, Baltimore, Houston (at the time)?
  8. This!!! Josh has to be a monster this game for sure. If he plays to the way he is capable of and the defense lets us down again, then it will be another year of "McDermott needs to go" from me. I don't want to hear the excuses about a reset year, salary cap, or washed up players that we lost. Beane knew what he was working with all season and did nothing to address it. This is the theme year in and year out. We always go into a season with glaring needs at key positions and they do the same thing every year, we bring in a semi-washed up player that either rarely sees the field, or is a JAG.
  9. I now move Ravens fans ahead of KC fans as the MLFB (Most Loathable Fan Base). KC fans have a reason to be the way they are, they have won numerous SB's over the past decade. Ravens fans have a media MVP and act as if they have had so much success with Lamar. I can recall going over to their board(s) just to see the reaction after we beat them in the playoffs and most were onboard with letting Lamar go. Hes always hurt, hes a rusher first and not a true passer, now he's the best QB in the history of the NFL if you let them tell the story. I want to beat them worse than KC now!
  10. When in the Red Zone, yes go for it on short. We wont beat the Ravens playing like that. Our offensive scheme seemed very vanilla when we got to the Red Zone.
  11. Its relatively simple to beat the Ravens and we have an offense that can do it. 1- Force either Lamar or Henry to beat you, cant let them both get off. Play a 4-3 and spy Lamar. Crash both him and Henry. Play up with your corners and have 1-safety stay on Andrews no matter what. If we change up our defensive philosophy a little, Harbaugh wont be able to adjust. He's shown the inability to adjust in their loses this year. 2- Score TD's when in the Red Zone. Do not accept FG's like we did against Denver. The way to do this is to keep their defense honest with a balanced Rushing attack with both Josh and Cook. Josh will have to have a minimum of double digit attempts and I'm not talking about QB sneaks. Test them deep with Cooper and Shakir often as well. Slant patterns is a key to doing this. Brady doesn't run enough short slants to the middle of the field. I would do this with Knox. They are relying on us running the dink and dunk screens and rushing Cook. They will not be prepared for us to consistently attack them deep. I know we lack the speed, but there always hope for PI's to be called. Again, if we do some unique QB roll-outs and draws, this will force them to the outside more, which will open up the middle of the field.
  12. No, I loathe them more now. The have become entitled, believing that there QB is MVP every year without genuinely looking at his stats year in and year out. This is a year that he actually deserves it, but they deny the fact the he shoudnt have won it last year. Why the NFL feels some sort of duty to make the kid MVP every year is beyond me. Its like they treat him like some sort of special needs QB!
  13. In my opinion, we will win it all when and if McDermott hires a Steve Spagnolou type. I know I misspelled his last name, but we need a vet D coordinator that he allows to run the show. Look at the Commander's. They hire a Defensive minded HC, but bring in a former HC that is offensive minded and look where they are with a rookie QB. They were picking in the top 5 last year and I cannot name one top flight weapon they have on offense.
  14. If we beat Denver, who do we play next?
  15. Mcdermott is a good coordinator and a good leader, but has shown the inability to adjust. There have been plenty of teams that have stated how shocked they were that we never adjusted in games. Cincy was ultra confident when they whooped us because they knew that there would be no surprises on defense. I listened to their post game that year. Gotta add wrinkles to your game plan. Can't continue to do the same thing you put on film year over year, especially against KC and Baltimore
  16. This is great news if Amari is back, but my question is... Is he mentally ready to play in a very meaningful game. Being physically present is very different than being fully ready to play!
  17. Please name one player that we didn't have to over pay to be here, that is actually elite that came here because of Josh Allen. I was team Josh when he was at Wyoming, so this isn't a slight to Josh. I just want someone to name one player that is elite, especially on offense. Josh may already be a HOF'r. Josh isn't the problem here. We need elite Wr's and some consistent playmakers on defense to win it all. That on top of a HC that can adjust his defense when it matters most.
  18. Buffalo NY- Ranked #1 in the US for snowfall. It used to be Syracuse, but even in Rochester NY, we have missed the significant snow fall, where OP has gotten the worst of it. This has been the way for the last several years too.
  19. Facts! Times have changed though and the next generation of Bill's fans wont show up to a cold stadium unless the team is winning. I hate to imagine what the down years will look like at the New Highmark, especially with enormous ticket prices. Hopefully sooner!
  20. Made it One (1) conference championship in 7 years with an Elite QB in Josh Allen. Granted he's only been elite for 5 of those years, but still, not one Super Bowl appearance is criminal when you have an Elite QB, Elite WR in Diggs and pro bowlers on defense. That's what I am talking about. Let me guess, your one of those "Its Hard to Win in the NFL" people.
  21. Funny how the elite teams that continue to compete, at least going to Conference Championships don't have this problem. KC, Philly, Baltimore (last year), SF (exclude this year) Cincy, are paying huge contracts to QB's, WR's and so on, but the Bills cant. Our resigning's have been poor. Oliver, AJ Epenesa, Knoxx, Taron, Jones, all have been underperformers. Drafting has been piss poor since Beane has gotten here (outside of Josh). Shakir is the only one on offense that is worth resigning to me. And maybe Cook if he's not asking for a ton of $$$. From what i gather from his folks down in FL. Cook will be out the door first thing if they dont offer him the big buck$. He loves his teamates, but cant stand the cold.
  22. How much better would Josh's stats be if we played in a Dome? Just look at his stats when he plays in a dome, outside of Houston for some reason!
  23. Which quality players would that be?? We have 1- really good WR's in Shakir, whos due up for a new contract right now. Everyone else on offense besides Cook is average. Name a top flight free agent that has signed here for less since Josh has been here? Von Miller was willing to sign with Dallas for $10mil less than what we paid for him.
  24. Pittsburg gets 1/3 if even of the snow we get, and definitely run about 10% minimum warmer temps that we do. Same goes the NE. yes, they get cold in Boston, but not cold plus wind, plus 2-feet of snow on a consistent basis. Green Bay gets the similar temps that we do, but even they dont get the amount of snow that OP does. Same goes for CHI Town.
  25. Most of our defense is year after year and its all related to scheme. We force our DB's and LB's to do most of the tackling. I wish our HC would realize while he has a Prime Josh Allen that this style of defense will not get it done against the best when it matters most.
