Coleman = JAG. Is what we saw in college and I dont personally think he can deal with the cold weather. If he fell off because of a wrist injury, then I will add Butter Soft to his profile too. Kincaid = Jury is still out, but not looking too promising Carter = Mehh Solomon = Jury is still out Rosseau = See Tremaine Edmunds for this one! JAG IMO and we have what we see, but there are fans of his on this board that think that he was worth a first!

Yes it is and I am still bitter. This team is very fortunate that Josh remains relatively healthy throughout each season. That is the definition of LUCK if you ask me. The way Josh plays the QB position, even though he is a big QB, he (we) have been very lucky that he hasnt had to miss any significant amount of time during the season. As he ages, and he will be 29 next season, age catches up to everyone, so we cannot continue to waste his prime years with coaches that are still learning, or JAGS that shouldnt be starters on a SB contending team. From the sounds of the presser, we will pretty much be running it back with the exception of some rookies. That is downright SINFUL!

Facts! But the reality is that the system is the problem. We could have some.of those big names and I still feel like they would underperform in this defense. I got torched on here for saying we had JAGS on our d-line after we beat Denver and im not disputing that we need a Garret/Crosby type, but Beane ain't spending his precious draft capital that he uses on JAGS to get a Garret.

I posted this in another thread for Beane being on the clock several days ago and he did/said exactly what I thought, or predicted: I was thinking the same thing. I told people that he would hide out until Wednesday at the latest. He hasnt got much to say outside of the fact the he is dedicated to righting the ship and will exhaust all measures and leave stone unturned. That is until FA hits and he over pays some scrub like he did with Harty and then tell us how we are focused on resigning our own in the form of Damar and these other JAGS that couldnt get it done. It is time to move on from him now!!! McDermott too. This was as pathetic of a presser as I have heard. It almost as if we didnt lose the biggest game in several years to him. Shame on Josh too. It's not like i expect him to rant and rave to the fans or media about wanting change, but I am not too sure if because he is the best that we ever had, we cannot see through the fact that he is content with things the way that they are right now.

When will this happen? When Josh is 35 and on the decline. Yeah... Then we can say we have a stout D-Line, but offense is trash. The time is now to go First Round WR, not just any WR, but one with size, speed and some sort of route tree. Cant tell me that we cant get one in the first and/or second round, ive seen several contending teams do it. If they arent there, then trade a first, or 1 of our seconds to for a bonified WR Lets not forget Beane passes on DK Metcalfe for Cody Ford!

I like the person, but im all set with Beane the GM!

Chiefs fans hope we keep McDeremott for as long as possible. Ive been seeing posts all over various social media outlets stating that they love the fact the we have McD and Beane. They know that his scheme is antiquated and he is unable to really adjust in game. They love Beane because he wastes our early draft picks (if hes not trading them to him) and the players that we draft dont really turn the tide to beating them. Its actually comical because we do the same to the Fins and Jets fans every year. We hope they keep the Gases, Salehs, Miami's McD because we pummel them year after year with no real threat of beating us in the playoffs.

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.
jaybeezee replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
Terry Pegula is a business man who owns two pro franchises, one of which sits at the bottom of the league year in and year out. Top 5 drafts ppicks, multiple coaches and GM's and still sucks. He has no idea about being an owner, a successful owner and that will be our problem. Mcdremott is here to stay like Tomlin in Pittsburgh and it will only take him leaving to on his own for us to get rid of him. I personally would like Pegula to give him a leadership roll with Pegula Sports and Entertainment, so he will still be employed but no longer our HC. Problem with that is he is a control freak and will convince Beane to hire a coach that is willing to run his antiquated scheme. -

FINAL v3.0 now LIVE on p.15 - Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft
jaybeezee replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im on board only if we make a trade for a true #1 WR type then. No more projects in any of the first 3 rounds. We need studs, not guys that we hope will develop in 2- years. We already have those types (see Coleman, Groot, Epenesa). -
Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
jaybeezee replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wish Mcdermott and Josh would make statements like Ryans and the Texans did after their issues with the refs after their game. It wouldn't come off as whinny to me..... It would show many of the fans that they arent gonna just lie down and take it like we always do. Screw the fines, we have a billionaire owner and if he is not willing to pay my fines for sticking up for this team, then I would want out of Buffalo as a HC. The same stuff happened when NE used to get all of the calls against us. McD would just state that he doesn't wanna get fined so hes gonna keep his thoughts to himself! -

Gotta give it to Mahomes.... He has the killer instinct in him like Brady did. Josh does not! I can honestly state that if Mahomes was the QB on that last drive that we had the ball with 4- downs to get a first, exact same coaches and players that Josh has, i would bet a million dollars that he gets us within field goal range to tie the game, at the very least. I love Josh and am grateful that he is our QB, but mentally Mahomes owns him. Just like Brady owned us mentally, as well as Jordan and the Bulls to the NY Knicks in the 90's. -

Yeah... this loss was on Coaching, both sides of the ball for numerous reasons. Whats not BS is how we are never given the benefit. 2- plays, one was crucial was taken away from us and that is the first down run by Josh. That couldve been a game changer, but at the end of the day, as I have said numerous times to many people, Josh has the ball with plenty of opportunitoes to make it happen with 3+ minutes on the clock and failed to do so. Blame Josh, Blame Brady, Blame McDermott, doesnt really matter. We got out coached, out performed when it mattered most! -
If Josh was playing our defense and Spags was coaching our defense, then I think we lose. I dont think that they have far superior talent on defense compared to us, with the exception of Chris Jones, but outside of him, who can we truly say is significantly better?

The Chiefs are always one step ahead of the Bills...

Didnt KC go on the road and beat Us and Baltimore last year?? The whole premise of getting the first round bye is trash to me. Im also tired of people saying we need luck! Why do we need luck, but KC doesnt need it to consistently win or go to Super Bowls? They had significant injuries on offense this year and still won 15 games, technically I will give them 16 games this year and they didnt have Hollywood Brown, Pacheco, Rice, for significant amount of time, as well as a older and slower Kelce and still won. If Andy Reid is the HC and he is offensive minded HC, then why is it that their best attribute for the majority of the season was defense, and we have a supposed great defensive head coach but cant beat them? Its scheme and coaching. I am sure Reid and Spags would have won a Super Bowl or 2 with the teams that we have been fielding for the last 3-4 years for sure! -
I dont see how teams like Philly, Baltimore, KC find ways to trade or pull in the Free Agents that they do when they have much bigger contracts they are shelling out for their players. I wish we had teams that had , GM's like Beane that are always willing to trade draft positions with teams that we eliminate from the playoffs year after year.

I am really appreciating the amount of post on here that are accurate. There are some on here that seem to think that we have all the time in the world to keep missing on our Draft Picks (early picks) and wait for them to maybe mature into quality, impactful players. I heard for years and years that we needed to wait for Edmunds to mature, same with AJ Epenesa and Groot. Both of them are going on year 5 and 6 and still are not what producing for where they were drafted IMO. Josh continues to age and with his style of play, it is extremely foolish to believe that he will be playing into his mid to late 30s... He may, but mobile Josh he aint gonna be and Josh aint no pocket QB, so without his mobility, unless he seriously works on his pocket game, i dont think he will be around for 7-8 more years and be elite like some tend to believe. Yes, before Baltimore or KC somehow finds a way to get him and pay him a crazy large contract. Every year a quality player like Garrett ends up on a team that shouldn't be able to afford him, but somehow manage to pull it off, and we have the same lousy excuse that we don't have the cap space to grab a guy like him.
-
Im not over it yet, but you are correct. We got beat and had the chance(s) to win this game. The Refs screwed us a couple of times, but we still had the ball with enough time to go ahead and win, or at least tie the game. We got mentally beat first and then physically. Now we have Bills fans hoping for luck to bounce our way in the form of Mahomes getting hurt, or losing weapons. The dude is just a year older than Josh and will be around for as long as Josh, so the answer isnt luck, or a hope that the dude gets hurt, its simply getting better at situational football and coaching, with the addition of adding quality 1st and second round draft picks, plus the better FA's when they are out there. The Eagles arent in the SB this year if Roseman doesnt get Barkley. IMO, the Ravens arent as good as they were this year without the addition of Henry (even though they made to AFC Championship game last year. Lets see what we do in FA this year with a little more cap room. I really hope that we hit on our first and second rounders this year, kinda of like how KC does it.

He has stated that he asked for Coleman and the same goes for Kincaid. He personally asked them to draft both if they were there. They do need to stop listening to him and draft the absolutely best player out there, based on position needs and neither of those 2 were the best that were left on the board. One thing I almost know for certain is, Josh does not want someone who will command the ball period. We need a Diggs type with a better attitude. Everybody eats is not the way to go unless you have multiple big game guys like Cincy does with Chase and Higgins!
-
This is pretty accurate! I just posted somewhere else that Allen has a lot more control over offensive personnel than most understand, or choose not to believe. He asked for Keon and Kincaid. He also asked for Beasley's dismissal and approved the release of John Brown, even though they were adamant supporters of Josh. Mcdermott stated before we hired Dorsey that he preferred to bring in an experienced OC, but Josh asked for Dorsey. Same goes for Brady. Josh isnt playing for less money than he could and should be getting for them to give him Coleman, Hollins, Shakir and especially Knox.

its not ridiculous. One could argue that the Chiefs did just enough to beat us. I personally believe that no matter how many points we scored, they wouldve score more than us, even it is by 1,2 or 3 points. This coaching staff has proven that they cannot beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. How many more years do you want to continue to say the same thing after we lose to them. Its always gonna be some excuse. Healthy players, Refs, Weather, etc...
-
People act like if you fire Mcdermott, we will go down in flames. He is not the only coach out there and I can think of 2 that are available right now that I would entertain for a replacement. Gruden, Belichek, I would add Pederson as long as he brings in Reich as his OC. At some point, we cant keephoping that McD finally learns, or is willing to change up his scheme completely. I am critical of our D-Line as a whole, but im starting to think that it is our scheme/development under McD. Epenesa, Groot, Basham, Oliver to some extent. All of these guys were studs in College and when they get here, the are average at best. We made AJ drop like 30-40 pounds which took away what his strength, now hes quicker but weak and is pretty much invisible. We draft Boogie who was a DT in College and make him drop weight and try and turn him into a DE. Why not just draft a DE??

The NFL will eventually have the same fate as the NBA right now. People are already partially tuning out. Ratings are dropping from previous year, although slightly, but still dropping. The constant additions of games to Europe and now South America, very similar to the NBA adding so many European players and adding European rules, on top of players taking games off for rest has, as well as the officials heavy involvement in games has watered down the NBA to almost unwatchable status and their ratings have been in steep decline. Add 18 games and we will see star players doing the same as the NBA and take games off.
