Id prefer to trade him out of our division. But Jets do have a stockpile of draft picks. Id rather just get rid of both. Maybe promote Beane to VP, hire a GM (Not his pick) and let the new guy hire a HC, or whip McD into submission and make him quit.

I didn't realize he signed an extension back in March of 2025!! Eshhhh! He's not going anywhere for certain. We're screwed. Might as well trade Josh for five firsts and let him and McD draft defensive studs with the first 3 picks in each draft. We can get a stud replacement for Josh in the 4th or 5th round. (Sarcasm)

That's why I want both gone. There's no telling how these guys would play if they were developed by a coach that isn't trying to hold on to an antiquated system. I believe the right DC comes in, with a different system, maybe the AJs and Greg's play different.

Greg's got 3 sacks in what 8 games. He on pace for his usual season high 8 sacks. 20mil per year for 8 sacks? Beane is always the smartest in the room.

Neither of them get us double digit sacks, so maybe you wanna fight them. I will say that for what we pay AJ, he's on a much better deal than Greg.

He definitely has been trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Been saying that since the year the drafter Boogie and tries to turn him into a DE. Did the same with Elam (Another huge waste of a first round) the kid was a cover corner and they run a zone. Tremaine- everyone with a pulse could see that the kids was not meant to be a MLB after year 2. They make AJ get small after they draft him, which gave him more speed, but way less power. How's that working out? They resigned and overspent on Bernard, Knoxx, Shakir, Benford, Samuel, and then sign 2 guys that were suspended for PEDs, which they could've recinded their offer once that came out, but they didn't. Hoecht played in what 2 games? Looked decent, but steroids do cause injuries. Onjunobi or however you spell his name is invisible. If people are saying that Beane runs the draft,which many on here say he is, then no thanks to keeping Beane either.

I also think McD runs the draft for the most part. Beane is the money guy, which is what he was in Carolina. He just figures out how to make salaries work under the cap, as well as reaching out to various GMs, but McDermott tells him who he wants

Appreciate the work you put into this. I admire the Man that McD is. I think he's a dedicated HC. His flaws are his stubbornness and his conservatism. I hoped after 13 seconds that he would change, but that ain't gonna happen, so the time is now to move on from both imo.

I feel like we let the Vrabel ship sail, whe I've been a big fan of his and we could've made the obvious move for him when he was an assistant in Cleveland. One thing I'll give Kraft credit for. He saw really quickly that the HC he hired previously wasn't gonna cut it. He ate the salary and hired Vrabel. Pegula on the other hand 🫣 I really wish Kim was healthy and had her mental bearings. Again, for coaches that are definitely available, I mentioned Gruden. I see positives in him. We've seen all there is to see with Beane and McD. Every year we keep hoping that he will have learned and Every year there's the same outcome. The only thing that changes with McD and Beane are who they decide is the scapegoat for the year. Mcdaniel is the offensive version of MCDERMOTT. Neither can adjust to well on the fly. His offense was great until teams figured it out. McD is the same. Teams have figured it out and he cannot change or adapt when that happens

Gruden is from the same tree as Reid! Not saying he is on Reids level, but old school guy with knowledge about the new school offenses. I do watch his breakdowns on YOUTUBE and find it very insightful

Should of been the case after the Atlanta loss! We do the same stuff every year. Come into these games completely unprepared and take losses that end up costing us the bye and home field throughout the playoffs. When are we really gonna learn?? It's all excuses to me at this point. We really got whooped by one of the worst teams in the league on Sunday.

People forget that Josh asked for Brady! As much as I blame McD for alot of our problems, the one thing he want was an real oc search but Josh wanted Brady and they gave him what he wanted, just like they did with Dorsey. As soon as Brady came in, Diggs was out of the game plan. What this team is truly missing is Diggs. He opened up the offense for all of the other receivers. He may not be what he was, but look what he's doing for Maye. It reminds me so.muxh of what he did for Josh when we traded for him.

NE had no problem whooping up on Tampa in that same heat and sun on the same day. Stop it with the excuses. My brother lives in Ft. Lauderdale and has fo the last 12 years. He was at the game and stated it was hot ,but nothing like it was when we played them the year that it was scorching. We lost to a far inferior team and our QB is part of the problem right now. I know our receivers are not good and most would be back ups or special teamers on other teams, but the all 22 for the most of this year shows that they are open way more than people give them credit for. Our QB isn't seeing them. He'd be a fool and she would be dating one of her costars in a matter of a few years. No matter what, she is a women and women do not want a simp. Who were his QBs? Derek Carr and Rich Gannon were his best. He's had Chris Dimms, Brian Greese, Brad Johnson. That's not cream of the crop by any stretch.

Howie is the best out there right now. Now that's someone who you can say is playing 4D chess. Dude trades for Phillips, who if he leaves them in FA they at least recoup the 3rd rounder they traded him for!

Both are on borrowed time. Or at least they should be!

Because maybe both shouldn't be here! It's a discussion about what the fans deem as a better option for either. It hurts more to have the same exact thing happen year after year when we all can see the glaring weaknesses this team has, and our GM does very little about it, and then tries when its too late. On top of that screaming about how he is right and we all are wrong about those weaknesses.
