Monday Night Games - Miami/Titans/Lions/Seahawks

Smith, Darnold....the best thing for a QBs career is to get the hell out of New Jersey. -
9/29/2024 Bills @ Ravens post game thread

That dirty move by the Ravens there and the late hit on Allen is why im angry the Bills don't have an enforcer who did the same thing to Lamar. In hockey it used to be where if a team cheap shotted a teams star, their own star would soon be cheap shotted. Lamar should have taken two late hits to the head for what was done to Allen to shut this dirty play up -

Refs cheated the Titans on that spot -
Different QBs, different contest, different result ?

Brady was known for having mental breakdowns under pressure when hit alot early and often so don't think he wins that game last night. Mahomes has been bailed out by a much better Chiefs defense so he doesn't win that for us last night. Manning would have gotten beat up as well being a statue and not having studs at receiver. Allen's biggest play came off a backyard football play nobody does like him in the NFL. Allen lacked clean pockets and receivers who could separate last night so don't see the other guys fixing that problem. Brady looked mortal his last year in New England with a lack of weapons -
To think we could have had Metcalf in that draft. Imagine Allen with an actual stud like him....

13 seconds definitely doesn't happen with him coaching us. I remember his Patriots team shutting down the Colts in the playoffs (and MVP Manning) by basically mugging every receiver every play knowing the refs weren't going to call it every time. Polian complained to the league but didn't matter. Patriots got the win playing dirty. That 13 second game he would have probably had every Bills defender mug the Chiefs receivers at the line, get the holding penalties but kill clock. I'm completely ok with a little bit of cheating to win. Patriots did it. 49ers did it with Rice (who wore stickum). Dolphins did it when Shula was on the officiating committee. Broncos did it. None of their rings got taken away.

I think it's time to embrace the dark side. "Trust the process" Mc Clappy isn't working.

This should quiet the concerns about Brady being poached in the off-season. Idiotic coaching at key moments tonight.

Ravens were playing dirty the whole game. I really wish the Bills had an enforcer type to retaliate when such happens. After Allen got cheap shotted late, someone should have taken out Lamar late on the next series. The lack of fight is just as worrying as those Sabres teams that let opponents run their goalies and others.

9/29/2024 Bills at Ravens 2nd half game thread

Our guys are struggling to get open. No Metcalf, Jefferson, Chase, etc quality player to help out because of undervaluing receivers (could have had the first two ) -

Responsibility goes to Beane and McDermott for not valuing receiver enough in the first round. Imagine Metcalf on this team. -

This is the defense Beane and McDermott built and felt was good enough this year so blame should be directed accordingly. -

This is why I compared McDermott to Marvin Lewis and Marty Schottenheimer. Cannot get it done against good offenses. -

McDermotts defense once again pooping the bed against competent offenses. -
Rice should be suspended and arguably behind bars for his behavior so the knee injury has to be karma. Dude should have been suspended prior to this

Yep. Notice how some of the greatest QBs have had to overcome adversity early on before reaching the pros and really dig in deep with hard work and dedication to overcome. Josh Allen who was rejected by so many college programs. Tom Brady who frequently lost starting jobs in Michigan despite playing better than the other guy and then having to earn his starting position as a 7th round draft pick. Kurt Warner who was bagging groceries and playing football in Europe before the Rams gave him a chance. Rodgers who was passed up by many colleges and had to start small and then sit and learn behind Favre. Drew Brees who was labeled too short to play the game and had to overcome serious injury. Etc.

As someone who has watched a lot of LSU football, the guy has always had a pretty beautiful deep ball (on display the other night ) and always had very good escapability/running ability. He also displayed a good ability to learn from mistakes. I noticed that in the Giants game when he ran too many times early on and got popped with an early shot that shoot him. Dude stopped running as much after. His first game against the Bucs, passing was a bit off. Much better in the two weeks since. His leadership at LSU and ability to carry the team on his back to bail out a poor defense is also commendable. No whining like a baby like Williams at USC. I think he's going to be a top 5 QB in the next couple years.

Mr. Brightside: is this a thing now?
ProcessImproverMan replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll be in the end zone section for the Ravens game so gonna try to get a "Josh Allen is the real MVP" sign in there to show. If we are winning the ***** talk is going to be so fun -

I kind of wish our stadium player intro was For Whom the Bells Toll. Ravens do a good job with that -
Gabe Davis at end of game
ProcessImproverMan replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. We can grab a solid to great receiver with one of our first three picks in the first two rounds next year and then get a couple other pieces to fix holes in the defense at safety, linebacker or defensive tackle. -
Top Ten Things Wrong with Josh Allen

Bass and Ray Davis outscored him in the second half. Allen is so overrated........(Sarcasm)
