  1. Unless Carson Palmer, never trust a USC QB
  2. The Giants and Browns both trying their hardest to choke.
  3. Factory of sadness quality fumble right there
  4. Better salmon than some of the other consumables the region is known for....
  5. I am in a season ticket group and I also make it to 1 or 2 away games a year and I very much prefer watching with a group of people at the stadium if watching in a group. At home I prefer watching alone because I tend to eat and drink alot more when alone (and get a bit self conscious pigging out around people). My wife is a huge gamer so I get no distractions.
  6. Officials were allowing alot go during the first half and now are getting flag heavy. It's not consistent. Chargers should get the same calls in their favor if this is how the refs are doing it now.
  7. Officials bailing out the Steelers time and time again
  8. Wonder if the Eagles hire Belichick if he's fired.
  9. When the Bills started off unbeaten during the drought years, us fans always packed the stadiums Steelers fans are overrated
  10. Bosa is the white NFL equivalent of Mr Glass.
  11. Young seems like a decent guy outside of his skills as an NFL player so probably doesn't fit the profile. Now if he swings a helmet at a player during a fight while cussing up a storm or sexually assaults some women, I can see it.
  12. This is why I wanted Beane to give up a ton of draft capital for Nabers. Imagine Allen throwing to him.....
  13. Nice to see Watson get crushed there , give up the ball and set up the Giants for a possible big lead. The factory of sadness must stay open!
  14. Mayfield should have kept his mouth shut this week. Foot in mouth syndrome today. It would be awesome for the Texans to lose. There's a reason why teams aren't crowned in August. Preseason Cinderellas who still have yet to prove anything. Hope Stroud gets beat up and humbled along with Diggs
  15. Same. I started watching the NFL in 1999 when I was 8 but really started to fully grasp and understand everything when we had Bledsoe / Losman in 2004 and by then, league was already getting softer after Polian complained about the Patriots defenders in that playoff game.
  16. Panthers may upset the Raiders with Dalton starting. Classic trap game for the Raiders. Desperate 0-2 team playing a team (Raiders) coming off a big win. Raiders should win but wouldn't surprise me if Panthers play well. Guys were open and the line held up last week. Young just sucks
  17. Giants are the weirdest team the past about two decades. Two super bowl wins when they caught lightning in a bottle and besides a couple other random decent seasons , they've done nothing. Still rather the Bills do that and have two rings though but weird franchise. Basically wins it all every so often and then a bunch of crap
  18. This Chargers Steelers game is physically brutal so far. Some great hard hitting football going on.
  19. September football can be deceiving. Both those guys played a lot in preseason which helped them but let's see how they are playing in November when every team is in midseason form. There's a reason both guys haven't made it long term as top level starters. The Bills have had guys come in and look good in September to only collapse when teams caught up (Edwards, Fitzpatrick, etc)
  20. Simply because they lost a team to Baltimore. Better to have the factor of sadness and feel something instead of nothing I guess.
  21. Jack Tatum paralyzed a guy (Stingley) because he purposely would head hunt guys (launch head first into receivers, backs and QBs). Many players on teams like the Raiders were known for purposefully trying to hurt players and alot of it was not called as penalties. Kelce or Hill or Mahomes would have just been headhunted to the sidelines dealing with them or Jack Lambert and the Steel Curtain Steelers, etc. Mahomes and Kelce cry like babies when barely touched.
  22. Mahomes wouldn't be able to get away with what he does now if the rules of the 1970s applied. Mahomes gets away with so much because defenders can't physically take his head off, or deliberately try to hurt him like they did QBs back then. Same with receivers. Guys like Kelce would have been taken out with headshots doing what he does and wouldn't be able to easily run open over the middle. Every QB today needs to be graded more harshly and guys back then given more praise due to this.
  23. I kind of fell off with the Sabres after Lindy Ruff and Ted Nolan were let go back to back and Eichel turned out to be a piece of *****. Eichel's behavior was the last straw. Now that Ruff is back I'm willing to give them another chance. He was our last competent coach. I also had the Panthers as another football team I liked simply because of Cam Newton being such an exciting player. Dropped that team when Newton left.
  24. Yep. Brady got two super bowl wins largely due to Belichicks great coaching. 2001 win against Rams and the other one against the Rams (2018 season) 13-3. His 2001 post season run was largely the beneficiary of Belichick's defense and same with 2018 (also add in great run game). Belichick is a huge reason for Brady's success overall. Stick him in Cleveland during that time and he fails. The best QB play I ever saw was Allen's 2021 playoff run vs the Patriots and Chiefs where his defense let him down. No QB has been that dominant but let down by his defense in such a way. Brady never touched those numbers.
  25. Tua honestly should have been tested for that throw . ...
