This is a damn good pick. Anything he is weak on, McDermott will coach up. You can't teach speed,or the fluidity this kid has in his hips. And most important, he is a damn good kid that will bust his ass and learn.

All I see is a very willing tackler that overshoots sometimes due to his aggressiveness.

This is a draft where I wish we had 1-2 3rd round picks and another 2nd. Lots of talent. I would double dip at CB,grab a 1 tech, a Safety and WR. He is the same height as Tre, but more weight and way faster. Tre was 176 at the combine if I remember correctly.

I am 100% with you, it's a tough afjustment. Would you agree with me we need to get a guy on Day 2 that can pressure from the inside. Philly brought it from all 4 in the Superbowl, but against us I have seen mahomes too many times just step up and throw or run because he eluded the outside rush. Pressure in his,and Tom Bradys face against the Giants,made a huge difference. The guys at NFL Network said arpund 1st round, it's a degenerative issue that may shorten his career.
