So I guess they tried the BIG 4-3 if you will with williams and thompson at linebacker with bernard, sanders at end and bishop right up on the line and they still got run on. have to think this was a package they worked on the last few days to try and get stops on early downs. not sure what you do here to stop the run. The interior gets whipped and the linebackers miss tackles and run right into the wrong gaps on seemingly every play.

its maddening watch this team play run defense. How can they not find a way to get stops in the interior.

Has anyone brought up how demeco ryans doesn’t like Josh Allen? Remember last year he made a point to state that Jordan love would be the best qb they have played this year the week after playing Buffalo. then later in the year he made a comment about Lamar being the real mvp or something to that effect. Knowing how Josh Allen remembers all this stuff I hope it’s something that motivates him even more. and yes spare me the he is an nfl player blah blah he doesn’t need motivation. I know I get that and agree but Allen always remembers petty things like this. No way he didn’t hear that and get the message Ryans was sending. Hopefully with the need to win, the poor day there last year and the comments we get an extra focused Josh Allen Thursday.

The qb unfriendly thing is really linked to a handful of plays, like the play in the endzone vs the eagles in 23. He is a pretty good player and Josh knows he will catch the ball if he gives him chances so I see it as a positive in this moment.

no question shanahan or mcvay would have samuel and moore having decent seasons. Only reason I can think samuel over moore is samuel might return punts since shakir is banged up..? plus maybe they like samuel more inside then moore. no idea.

why. He was always a good not great player here. When his contract was up the team just did not have the cap space to pay him the money he earned so he left. His being here could be huge going forward. I still contend had he played in the 2023 playoff game vs KC we might win the game. He might have made that one play that diggs and harty couldn't make. Those guys dropped balls Davis always caught and we lost by a FG. I am excited to see Davis today. i hope he makes a big play.

This signing feels like a poor mans shaheed who is going to get a chance to return kicks. one of the things no one talks about this year because of the obsession over wr is the poor returns. we upgraded at st coach in tabor and the special teams has not seemed great this year. injuries matter but returns have been pretty pedestrian.

Terrible and unfortunate injury. I swear it looks like Mathis dove into his legs late for no reason and then a dolphins player got thrown on to his knee after. I feel for Jackson.
