Van Halen essentially ended after the balance tour in 96. They were never really a band again. They tried with gary cherone and the moment had passed on VH. They were then relegated to Greatest hits touring band unfortunately. Then in the mid 00's the band tried touring with both sammy and DLR, Eddie was out of control and the shows were not good. Then finally the 2012 reunion with DLR a different kind of truth only really happened because of wolfgang. That tour supporting that album was weird. The band seemed to be going through the motions. I hated the vibe of that tour although I loved Eddie playing the new evh wolfgangs which are cool. The only time they really could have played the half time show was 84-95 but the NFL never had real acts in that era sans Michael Jackson in 1992.

Dallas gave a 2027 first and 2026 2nd for Williams. I didn't understand it for Dallas but for Buffalo I would have done this in a heartbeat. I wanted them to make a deal like this for dexter lawrence but williams is the 1b to lawrence's 1a. What a bummer they couldn't get that done. What the defense could have been this postseason when oliver returns, again what a bummer. I would never trade a first round pick for a WR. Pretty much never.

I wonder if the bills had already played both games against miami or didn't play the second game until week 17 if they would have moved waddle to Buffalo. No matter how much the owners hate the fans and think of us like bunch of losers and they all do, trading one of your best players to a rival who you can't beat the week you play them is probably even a bridge too far for them. Williams would have been incredible. The DT rotation would have been amazing with williams/oliver/walker and sanders. What a bummer.

First, I thought you just died. second, not in my opinion. The afc west teams all mixed up at 11-6 or worse having split with each other would be good for us.

I want the raiders to win this game. for one getting upset tonight and having extra time to get ready for the chiefs will make them hyper focused for that game. second the wild card scramble is going to be tight in January so we need all these teams to lose as many games as possible. the west all splitting with each other and all of them ending with 5 or 6 losses would be perfect.

This thread seems to be a more long winded version of what I have been saying since the saints game. There are open wr down the field and Allen is not taking them for various reasons. I posted that play that the OP put in the post from erik turner and said the same thing in the post game thread. Moore was open there for a big play. in the saints game when the team had stalled out in the second quarter and was riddled with bad field position Coleman beat the corner inside and was open on a Dig route but Allen went to Knox and it was incomplete. The next play Allen tried hitting coleman deep, threw it late and it was picked. During the panthers game he had moore deep for a TD and on another play samuel was open on a corner route. And I still believe Allen can make the throw to Samuel, the deep corner to samuel for a go ahead TD on the play that was incomplete to shakir. The throw to moore sunday gives me hope Allen will start taking these shots when they are there. This offense's calling card is efficiency, just like Sean Payton, Joe Brady is completely focused on Efficiency. I think that is why Allen doesn't take the deep ball. The mind set is keep moving the chains, extend the drive and score in the redzone.

No they got him to cover Nico Collins in their division. Plus btj whenever he rebounds. they have had a great year but have not wont heir division by any means. Two picks for Shaheed is an easy no. Jax paid that for myers because they had like 12 or 13 picks or something crazy like that. The best asset Shaheed would have brought to the team, and the team needs it, is his return abilites. By having him as an active wr and the return man the team could cut codrington. Then on gameday Shaheed just plays that role and no one else does. That can give you an extra player somewhere else like DT or CB where the team has constant injuries. Codrington has been inactive a lot I think for that reason alone. I will say though Ray Davis looked very good returning kicks sunday and I bet he does it again this week unless Cook is inactive or something.

He got High-Lowed and bent back really violently. We are lucky he didn't get a high ankle sprain or worse. Cook doesn't need to practice. They can give him rehab all week and he can play on sunday. I Imagine that is what happens.

Every team that stays with the run and can stop the run are a major threat to the bills. the chargers and colts can do that. The broncos can do that but they are not as consistent at it. New England can run the ball effectively and then maye can run with the ball to0 we just watched them slow the bills running game down. I think all these teams present major challenges to this years bills. Hopefully we start getting some good health on defense

He would have been a great return man and an good wr who would probably produce at the the same level as our current guys. i would have traded a single pick for him. A fifth but that seems to me all a half season rental is worth.

I was hoping for a home run with an addition of Lawrence or Simmons but that was not a reality. I have to say I am glad they didn’t burn a third round pick for a half season rental. I thought maybe they would add another veteran linebacker or corner as depth in case of injuries but I guess they can find that level player on a practice squad somewhere if it comes to that.

Dallas has no idea what they are doing. They were given two ones and they will need a quarterback in a few years ( I think they need one now) And they just gave up their ammo for a defensive tackle. If I were a cowboys fan I would be exhausted with their stupidity.
