  1. after the stuff I was reading from the hairston victim/accuser.....it appears they might as well have taken bond and green this weekend too. The talks about character from beane and mcdermott should go in one ear and out the other from all of us. I am hoping that somehow the Hairston stuff will get cleared up but to me it appears like the classic case of the big school money is able to push this under the rug and hope no one cares as time goes on. Seems they got him out of a rape and burglary charge because he was a minor or not 18 yet if I am understanding correctly. Big time bummer and has ruined the weekend for me.
  2. Actually it appears the schools lawyers got him out of this because he may have not been 18 at the time. It seems to have happened when he was an early enrollee to kentucky after he graduated from high school. The victim documented everything, went to the hospital, gave the police all the info and get details of everything to make sure the school could not push it under the rug. Seems they did. The girl that accused him posted about it on her tiktok and said that five other girls had come forward with similar issues with the same player, maxwell hairston.
  3. I just read the assault stuff with him. It appears he raped a girl and was accused of burglary on top of that. It reeks of the team/school kind of making it just go away as they always do and hoping in time no one will care. bummer.
  4. they had to take a kicker to take care of their current assaulter.
  5. it's not make or break at all. I said this all offseason, they were going to do the defensive line this offseason what they did to the offensive line and running game a few years ago. It appears this is exactly what they did. This is a total rebuild of the Line in personnel and I imagine in approach and player style along with two new Defensive line coaches....kind of like when Kromer was hired.
  6. Broaddus said Cam Williams has medical and character red flags for whatever its worth.
  7. Good grief man.
  8. The Dallas guys for whoever cares love Strong. Bryan Broaddus LOVES him. They are upset because Dallas wanted him. Called him a press corner, really disruptive, plays the deep ball great. Plays bigger and tougher than his size. Plays the crossers well and drives on routes....high intelligence.
  9. Bruglers summary. SUMMARY: A five-year starter at Virginia Tech, Strong was the field cornerback in head coach Brent Pry's coverage scheme. After sufering a season-ending injury in 2022, he started 25 consecutive games the past two seasons. He combined for 19 passes defended and five interceptions while allowing just 39.6 percent completions when targeted (36-for-91). Despite having average length, Strong gets physical early and maintains positioning to make quarterbacks second-guess targeting constricted windows. He can function well in zone because of his pattern recognition and efectiveness in run support. Overall, Strong doesn't have ideal foot speed or twitch for what some NFL teams desire, but he is a quick, instinctive player with the competitive profile other teams will highly value. He projects as a rookie reserve.
  10. he said it many times. It's right there in the summary. He got his degree at Yale then went to GT
  11. I think Teams are all wearing shirts today in rememberance of a colts coach wife who recently died of cancer.
  12. Brugler's summary.. also I know this guy is a blocking specialist but if he ever gets loose and scores, Chris Brown can say Jackson took one to the HAWSE. SUMMARY: A one-year starter at Georgia Tech, Hawes was an inline tight end in ofensive coordinator Buster Faulkner's run-heavy scheme (65.0 percent of snaps inline, 28.3 percent in the slot). He spent five years at Yale and picked up an Ivy League degree before spending his final college season with the Yellow Jackets in 2024. His performance at Georgia Tech earned him draftable grades from NFL teams. As a pass catcher, Hawes tracks and catches the ball well, but he wasn't a high-volume target in college — that is reflected in his inefcient route running and choppy attempts to separate at the stem. Where he shines is as a versatile, throwback blocker who can dig out defenders and stay between his target and the football. Overall, Hawes is a one-speed athlete and has a low ceiling as a passing target, but his functional athleticism, technical approach and competitive attitude should be enough to keep him on an NFL roster. He is a classic Y tight end prospect.
  13. rams must have jumped up to take the Bills lb they liked.
  14. Guys are going to have to walk around the defensive meeting rooms at the facility with Hi my name is stickers on. There are like 10 new guys on defense.
  15. from Brugler SUMMARY: A two-year starter at Ohio State, Hancock played nickel cornerback in former defensive coordinator Jim Knowles' scheme (variations of Cover 1, Cover 3 and Cover 4 quarters). He also filled in at free safety when Lathan Ransom was banged up, and the coaches considered him an interchangeable defender across the secondary. Hancock plays with the size, strength and attitude of an NFL nickel and turned himself from a so-so tackler to an above-average run defender. In coverage, he falls behind too often from press and sees the field better from depth. Overall, Hancock is a quick and physical defender with versatile experience, although his average speed and below-average balance when turning and phasing routes will be an issue against NFL slots. His best pro position might be as a safety who can provide depth at diferent spots in the secondary
  16. Man. Didn't see that coming but we all knew they wanted to double dip at the position. side note...it must be a lot of fun to ask this guy to sign documents.
  17. there is a poster here, forgive me but I forgot who it was who is connected and he told us that all of the Bills UFA had offers on the table they could sign. Only Douglas and Cooper have not resigned or signed elsewhere like hollins. What are the chances they have something worked out with cooper? What are the odds they want him back?
  18. Oronde Gadsden's dad made the original one handed catch when he was a dolphin that beckham got all the attention for with the giants. I was just thinking he was a nice fit the the chargers and there he goes.
  19. Has oronde gadsden been picked yet?
  20. IF horton's medical is ok....he would seem like a nice fit, at least by what Brugler said about him. He is from fresno and it just so happens the Bills know a guy from there (ish) too. Overall, Horton must tighten his route running and get stronger, but his fluidity, speed and natural tracking skills can be weaponized by the right coaching staf. He projects as a rotational Z receiver/punt returner who can gradually push for starting flanker reps.
  21. lambert smith getting picked is a bummer. also seems Lambert-Smith is the chargers replacement for Joshua Palmer.
  22. Dallas traded up
  23. Keandre Lambert-Smith is the only guy left with big wheels. Seems like a 1 trick pony comparable or worse than the existing veteran wr they have on the roster already. The bills have two wr sitting in their wr room that were once upon a time 2nd round picks. They must view all these guys as similar or close enough to not draft and then cut one of those veterans.
  24. Atlanta only has a couple of picks. that could be a spot to move up in the 4th round
  25. welcome to 1 tech running back and linebacker day everyone
