Saints WR Rashid Shaheed......possible trade deadline move??
MikePJ76 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
He has an expiring contract so the pick can not be high. His career does not deserve a pick any higher than a conditional fifth round pick. The versatility he brings is that he is one of the leagues best punt returners. -
10/5/2025 GAMEDAY Bills vs Patriots Gameday Thread SNF 🍁 🏈 🍂

at least milano is back -
I was pissed and said as much in the thread the minute it happened. I then got bombarded with dislikes and stalkers for the next few weeks constantly going back and pointing out that I thought it was a terrible trade. I accepted that they basically paid cleveland more to eat the money but I still hated it. I even got a temp ban and threats in my messages when I pointed it out later in the year again. I believe I was told I was crusading. oh well. This year I feel the exact same way about bosa. Thankfully he only takes cap space and not draft capital away.

little soon for this. Its october 1st.

This is the wrong week to have an issue on special teams. New punter vs the leagues best punt returner. Not a good situation. Hopefully he can boom some out of bounds inside the 15.....or better yet the bills only punt a few times.

Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday
MikePJ76 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
No they are doing it so the stadium looks great. All teams do whiteouts and ask their fans to wear white on special occasions. This is not unique in anyway. -
If you really want to have some fun, safety Xavier watts has two interceptions so far this year. He was taken with the bills third round pick traded for Amari cooper. i will never let this go, it was a major mistake.

I am looking at some of the team defensive stats. The Bills are number 1 in a number of passing stats. Comp %, yards, yds/attempt at 5.5! 20+ yard plays. among the leagues worst in sacks however with only 9 which makes it pretty odd how good the pass defense is. new england is the flip side giving up alot of yards, td's, 20+ yard plays. So it appears the Pats have an excellent run defense because they have struggled in pass defense and had a blowout win yesterday.

First thing concerning to me about the pats game. They run a 3-4 much like New Orleans does. The whole game yesterday it looked like the saints had 5 defensive lineman on the field. The Bills ran right through it. New England however is second in run defense. So third and longs are concerning. and of course we know vrabel is going to run the ball 40 times and hope for third and shorts where he has diggs in the slot and a mobile qb. So this is a real challenge. The key as always is playing with a lead and making new england do what they don't want to and pass the ball more than run.

C- for the line? That seems harsh. I have seen David Edwards throwing people around in the first half. A couple of bad plays from vandermark but nothing bad.

It's officially New York Vs Massachusetts week. New York has the MVP's. Going to be an awesome week!

Dorian strong was one on one outside on the third saints drive, they threw a swing pass to kamara and strong fought through the wr block and tackled kamara out of bounds for two yards. that was a really nice play. So far in the first half watching this Walker fires off the ball unlike any other defensive lineman. Ironically I have seen Jordan phillips with a similar get off also in the second quarter. The back to back sacks on the fourth drive in the second quarter Josh had guys open all over. the first one I think he felt pressure before it was actually there and played it safe...no harm in that. The second one curtis samuel was open for what would have been like a 25 yard plus play. He was running across the field while the saints blitzed and josh had no chance to get him the ball, credit the saints. Josh stepped to his right instead of moving up in the pocket which is odd for him. Would have been a huge play.

Bad Bunny will be the Super Bowl halftime act
MikePJ76 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
everyone says they don't watch it and then everyone has opinions on it. Its a pretty weird thing. -
Watching the all 22 for fun and on the third offensive drive, Allen threw the deep corner to knox which got batted down but he had coleman wide open on an in route on the other side of the field....on the next play, Allen goes deep to Coleman and he had Kincaid for a checkdown which would have been a one on one to see if he could break a tackle and get the first down. Interesting stuff. easy pitch and catch to coleman but he went to knox and then under pressure he took a shot to coleman...might have had moore on the crosser if he had another half a second.

that is not what matters. What matters is that number. That is what advertising prices are based on. That is an aburd number. Try and get 100 Million plus people to watch anything! -
If Only They Could Tackle..It's Not Just the Coaching
MikePJ76 replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
im watching it now for some fun before I get to work this morning and the pass rush is just a bunch of guys stuck to the lineman in front of them, especially everyones savior. this has to improve. The run defense is the run defense but they will not win against good teams later in the year with this pass rush. -

Evaulation (of this team) after a quarter of season gone
MikePJ76 replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall
My biggest takeaways. The run game is still awesome. Mcdermott's philosophy of allowing teams to have the numbers up front in the running game and challenging opposing offenses to stay with it and prove they can score Touchdowns via the run game is frustrating as hell to watch but has worked again so far this year. I expect with Milano, Oliver and Hoecht back soon they will play the run a little better. My final opinion so far is that as I thought all offseason the defensive free agents they have signed have not really accounted for much. The drafted players have been underwhelming though hawes and walker look like players that will help them win games all year. The rest of the class is hurt/inactive or not playing. Strong has filled in admirably but I don't think the plan is to have him out there late in the year. Fingers crossed hoecht actually can help the defense.
