  1. There is a thought out there that he could end up in Dallas. Heard them talking about here today. His dad and grandfather played for the cowboys and he is really close with the cowboys new wr coach junior adams
  2. really? Doesn't he have some serious stinger issues? A second-round pick in 2021, Samuel was productive in coverage through three seasons (six interceptions, 35 pass breakups), but a shoulder injury limited him to just four games in 2024. Samuel said after the season he was battling “stinger symptoms,” adding it’s an issue he was “born with.” Undersized and not known for his tackling, Samuel has been otherwise mostly healthy in his career, but any uncertainty about the health of his shoulder moving forward could complicate his market. the athletic has him as tier 4 along with adebo who got 3 for 54.
  3. Chargers bringing back DT Teair Tart Why did DT Teair Tart's return to L.A. feel so necessary? After losing Poona Ford to the Rams in free agency, the Chargers needed to retain another key member of the defensive tackle rotation. Read more here on the move
  4. honest question, without knowing the guaranteed amount. is this a lot for a rotational end who will play special teams i imagine and be a part of a rotation of guys on passing downs? seems like given the last few days this is not a lot of money. Did you see what wharton got today?
  5. sort of. He lost a year to injury, I think his rookie year and then they played him for connor williams at some point. I think it was 21 where they wanted to put him at center when frederick retired and they said he couldn't do it so he became the interior swing man before being the full time starter.
  6. The broncos are going to be right on the chiefs this season. If Payton figures out a running game/back they are going to be a problem.
  7. Mcgovern was a starter in Dallas. They insisted he could not play center and was not a good guard so they let him walk. The guys who said that are all not coaching in the nfl at the moment also Joe Philbin and Mike McCarthy.
  8. on the plus side we are now spared all the return of the mack puns. i know they had them all loaded and ready to fire.
  9. sal made it sound like that is in the plan this morning.
  10. maybe they have plans for another vet wr like kupp or they already have a plan that targets a range of wr in the draft and plan to take one. if so there is no room for hollins unfortunately.
  11. Wish they would have given slayton the money but they get younger in palmer I guess. they also might have known he was going to stay in NY no matter they offered him and moved on.
  12. yea wednesday so that is something to watch.
  13. 9m ago David DeChant· Senior Editor, NFL Furious start to free agency We are six hours into the legal tampering window, and 43 of The Athletic’s top 150 free agents are already off the board, including each of the top four and seven of the top nine. The most popular positions so far have mostly been on defense, with six defensive tackles, six edge rushers, five cornerbacks and four safeties having agreed to terms. On offense, 10 of the players off the board are offensive linemen, while only two are quarterbacks and three are wide receivers. None of the running backs in the top 150 has agreed to terms yet.
  14. Sal made it sound this morning like smoot is a guy coming back at some point.
  15. are their people freaking out? honestly I haven't noticed anyone doing that. Just the usual number 1 wr mumbo jumbo but other than that it seems pretty calm here.
  16. I assume this is pick 165. That makes me jealous. If I ran a team i think I would sign qb's of this ilk every year and then make deals like this the next year. Signing trey lance for nothing and then talking him up in practice all year could lead to a desperate team throwing you a late 4 or 5 the following year.
  17. what is the obsession with the 40 yard time?
  18. corners are getting a lot. Tough spot for the bills here. they need a corner pretty bad.
  19. if we was a woman beater he would have signed with the chiefs.... Hiiiiyoooo
  20. so thats why Garrett resigned. He must have know super bowl champion kenny pickett was coming.
  21. Interesting, you see him as the hollins replacement. I think they are going to draft a guy or sign another vet obviously in the coming weeks but i would think Palmer would get the snaps Cooper got last year.
  22. The people who loved giving up a 3rd (huge mistake) for cooper all hate this signing. Very interesting.
  23. Chicago has been signing defensive free agents every offseason for 30 years.
  24. I imagine slayton wants a lot of money.
