Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
MikePJ76 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will bet you a shiny nickel that after they take a corner on thursday or friday and we have the first full mini camp, White becomes the "leadership" "Mentor" "Coach on the field" guy. There are other buzz words for this but they are slipping my old mind at the moment. They are coming though. Its a young room that gets really young if they take 2 corners or 1 corner and a safety. He is a better option vs the chiefs if benford is hurt again also I would imagine. He can step in and play decently for a game or two and especially in an emergency. -
Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
MikePJ76 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
When I first saw he signed yesterday I thought it was a 1 day contract to retire a Bill. I guess he is here to be a mentor to the young cornerback group they are about to have. If they draft or 1 or 2 its a really young group at outside corner so White could play a role as a mentor. -

Joe buscaglia mentioning something I think has more of a chance of happening than any other scenario, the Bills moving back. Here he uses the Giants as an example. They make a lot of sense. One team to keep an eye on for this could be the Giants. The Giants’ want and need for a young quarterback has been well-documented over the last two years. The close relationship between Beane and Giants GM Joe Schoen could come into the picture here. As of now, the Giants hold the No. 34 selection. By sliding back to that spot, the Bills would know the Giants are moving up to select a quarterback, and since the Bills have no need for one that early, that means they would effectively slide back and potentially miss out on only three players while picking up something of value. The Giants have two third-round selections (Nos. 65 and 99), and if the Bills can extract one of those, it would easily be worth a three-pick wait if they don’t feel strongly enough about someone on the board. -
The social media stuff means nothing. Zilch, not a thing. Brandon Beane could care less what he says on social media concerning his contract. All that matters is negotiations with his agent.

Dolphins & Jalen Ramsey exploring trade options
MikePJ76 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a bummer because now there is one more team looking for an outside corner probably in the first 2 rounds of the draft. -
I heard a reporter here in Dallas talking about it. He had the info. It definitely wasn't an oops moment. It was his whole no pun intended point of hooking up with her. That is what he wanted and she said no so he did it anyway and when she said no he covered her mouth with his hand and pushed her down until he finished. Then he offered her 1000 dollars as an apology and asked her to sign an nda. the reason he got charged is because the woman turned over all the text messages where I guess he admits it all and was like oh sorry here is a 1000 dollars.

Joe Buscaglia has a penultimate mock draft out today and he has the Bills trading up for him. Sees him as a return man replacing codrington and next years replacement for ty johnson. TRADE! Trade details: Bills trade Nos. 169 and 170 to Commanders for No. 128 The pick at No. 128 — Brashard Smith, RB, SMU Here is Dane Brugler's summary of Brashard Smith SUMMARY: A one-year starter at SMU, Smith made the transition from receiver to running back in head coach Rhett Lashlee's balanced spread scheme. After three seasons as a pass catcher for Miami, he entered the portal, and Lashlee sold him on making a positional move that would allow him to be SMU's version of Isiah Pacheco. Smith responded with 1,977 all-purpose yards in 2024, No. 4 in the FBS behind only Ashton Jeanty, Cam Skattebo and Omarion Hampton. He was also the only FBS player with at least 1,300 yards rushing, 300 yards receiving and 300 kick-return yards in 2024. A hard-charging athlete, Smith runs with wiggle and balance to elude tacklers and make it tough for defenders to square him up, although he needs to better rely on the blocking scheme to set up defenders. He plucks the ball well outside his frame and can get open on wheels and fades. Overall, Smith needs to continue developing his run discipline and tempo, but he runs hard and explosively with terrific control for abrupt cuts. Given his versatility as a runner and receiver, he has the upside of a dynamic role player who can be flexed across the offense and affect the defensive game plan. GRADE: 4th-5th round

Joe has his penultimate mock up. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6273291/2025/04/14/buffalo-bills-mock-draft-nfl-2025-prospects/ The pick at No. 30 — Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan The Bills haven’t used a draft selection on a one-technique defensive tackle since they took Harrison Phillips in the third round in 2018, but the need for them to select one in 2025 is as clear as it has ever been. The Bills have 33-year-old DaQuan Jones as the only one-technique who is a lock for the final roster, and he’s out of contract after 2025. Generally speaking, taking a player at that position with this early of a pick isn’t an ideal use of a draft resource if the player is only going to be an early-down run-stuffer. But if they can become a three-down asset, that’s where the pick becomes a worthwhile investment. That’s where the 6-foot-3, 331-pound Grant comes in, who is a tremendous run-stuffing one-technique with some projectable pass-rushing ability. At this point, Grant is more of a clean-up pass-rusher than one who disrupts the pocket, and early on in his career, he may be nothing more than that early-down asset who has to come off the field for obvious pass-rushing situations. However, there is more of a nimbleness to his movement abilities than other massive one-technique run-stuffers. He’ll never dip and rip through blockers, but through his power and movement skills, there is a path to seeing him develop as an asset on third downs. With a drop-off at the position from Grant to the next batch of one-technique defensive tackles, No. 30 could be the right time to strike. He could become the starting one-technique alongside Ed Oliver as early as this season, shifting Jones into more of a rotational role. The pick at No. 56 — Oluwafemi Oladejo, Edge, UCLA The pick at No. 62 — Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina The pick at No. 109 — Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas TRADE! Trade details: Bills trade Nos. 169 and 170 to Commanders for No. 128 The pick at No. 128 — Brashard Smith, RB, SMU The pick at No. 132 — Tai Felton, WR, Maryland The pick at No. 173 — Carson Vinson, OT, Alabama A&M The pick at No. 177 — CJ Dippre, TE, Alabama The pick at No. 206 — James Burnip, P, Alabama Buscaglia sees smith as the return man replacing codrington. Random talking head says something about the Bills

Keep that creep away from Josh Allen please -
Atlanta could maybe make a deal for cousins. They would clear cap space and get draft picks from a division rival that is going to lose with or without cousins.

He wasn’t arrested for a domestic incident, he raped a girl he was trying to hook up with on Instagram, then after when she told him that was wrong and she said no he offered her a thousand dollars and asked her to sign an nda. he held her down with his hand over her mouth and raped her while she was saying no.

Anyone who saw the police report and what the woman said would never draft this guy. but someone will because someone always does

Joe has a write up on wr options for Buffalo based on Dane brugler’s guide. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6270635/2025/04/11/bills-nfl-draft-2025-wide-receiver-fits/?source=user_shared_article seems like these guys think golden makes it to 30 now.
-
Do you know how lousy of a dude you have to be to actually get arrested as a player at Texas. This school coddles and spoils its players more than any other. there is always someone at some level in the government or police department to keep anything these guys do from actually getting out publicly or to never actually get charged. in the old days the colleges would lean on the accuser or the judges but today it’s so out of whack that is not even necessary. so to actually get in trouble there you have to be quite a moron.

You will have to take it up with him. He has certainly done the research and knows everything about the guy. -
FWIW, Dane Brugler has Harmon at 16 and grant at 25 in his top 100. his write up on ezieraku made me like him a little more and he has him at 22. And at 30 he has Jahdee Barron. seems impossible that guy would get to 30. I heard Bryan broaddus talking about him the other day and said he is Trent Mcduffie.

Dane brugler has him as the 12th ranked dt and sees him is a 3rd to 4th round player. apparently Matt rhule loves him and he played 3 and 4 technique in Nebraska’s 3-3-5 front. Brugler projects him as a rotational player who can play in an even or odd front and says he is suited for a 1tech spot in an even front like the bills play mostly. -

Man Mike north gave up the real reason for the international games. he said they are looking for a media partner to buy in as the home of our international games, then later he said Netflix reached 200 countries with a global license. so basically the nfl is going to play more international games going forward so they can get another billion dollars or more from Netflix. This also will drive 18 games in the regular season so teams will still have at least the regular 8 games at home. Also a game in Abu Dhabi . Ridiculous. The nfl’s greed has no end. -
