Romo’s inability to form full sentences has somehow become worse this year. It’s like his brain just keeps moving on. yesterday he said something to the effect of, Oliver being out is huge, Johnson…..then his brain tailed off. It’s like he tried to say three different things at once, mixed them all in together form a completely incomprehensible sentence with no ending. if the bills are winning I can ignore the two of them but man he has become awful at the job. Everything in a nantz Romo broadcast is like, That right there Jim is why the bills can win a Super Bowl….meanwhile someone made a routine play in the first qtr of week 2.

I didn’t realize that. Atlanta would probably ask for a really high pick in that scenario. browning can move the ball in the air so unless he all of a sudden turns the ball over 5 times a game I am not sure why the bengals would seek out cousins.

Sure seems like daboll might have been a problem for Daniel Jones. Jones has looked excellent to me so far these first two weeks. daboll is going to be belichick’s qb coach at North Carolina before long.

Why though? They played pretty good on offense two years ago when burrow was out. although nowhere near the player burrow is the passing game was still good with browning. plus how would they fit cousins money into their cap?

If you don’t like how the bills have played offense under Joe Brady go back and watch the game vs Denver in 2023. if that doesn’t make you have a eureka moment I don’t know what will make you see the light. The bills are a run first team and built an excellent roster to run with. they have won like 90% of the game since Brady has been the oc and they have embraced this philosophy. Do you like gaudy offensive statistics or wins?

He has been around and with good coaches and good teams. I feel confident he ends up a good head coach. all those guys that were around Parcells in New York and/or Dallas have been successful. fixing the jets has been a challenge to any one willing to try since 1969. Parcells had them among the leagues best in 98 and then lost their qb in 99. Rex Ryan somehow made a championship game there. if Glenn has to try and rebuild with fields it may never happen. I thought they had a shot to have a Dallas 2003 type season when they made the playoffs with Quincy Carter a good defense and a tremendous staff. I just don’t think the jets are as talented as that team.

I still like Aaron Glenn. I think he is a good coach. Going to take time to change one of the worst cultures in the league. i think the bigger takeaway is maybe the Steelers are not as good as the roster says they should be on paper.

I turned the game off at halftime, it was unwatchable.

I get that everyone thinks McDaniel is getting fired and it makes sense but who are they promoting on that staff? They have a bunch of former hot names that fizzled out on their way up the ladder. Guys like Darrell bevell, Joe Barry, Bobby skowik. i would guess Joe Barry or Anthony weaver gets promoted to head coach but what difference will that make. Seems if McDaniel is gone the whole thing falls apart even more. they are in a bad spot. I am not sure who has been a worse coach so far, McDaniel or daboll? the giants are on a path to win 4 games tops and yet another top 10 draft pick.

I fear this will lead to a 7-10 ish season for the bengals and a house cleaning. Which makes me believe Joe Brady would be the top option to take over in Cincy and i don’t think any of us wants that.

Brady said in the pregame yesterday that ball control and running the clock was a point of emphasis for the game. so I guess the plan was to make the jets front play the run first and slow them down. so knowing that was the mindset it makes sense they didn’t come out throwing 20 yard shots. Even having said that Allen got his arm hit as he was throwing or he would have had a 20 plus yard td to Palmer early in the game.

colts broncos game is great. Looked like pat surtain popped his achilles and or tore something in his ankle area. Big loss for denver.

listening to Joe Brady on the pregame show and he said a big point of emphasis for them is staying on the field and controlling the clock. Keon Coleman, Everything he did in the offseason translated into week 1 and there is so much more he can do. There are high expectations for him and today he will deal with physical corners who will have their hands 0n him. on Aaron glenn, has familiarity with him and his d lines play with a lot energy and he can see him putting his mark on the defense in ny. on the tight ends, 13 personnel, we want to see more of it because we have unique personnel and can tip the game in our favor. We feel good about our tight ends.

good question. He practiced so it cant be that bad. I think they have a lot of players with similar traits so he sits do to lack of experience. Hopefully the staff made a point about db's putting their head down and tackling. Hancock did it in the preseason and then we saw it again in the game last week. Someone is going to get a serious neck injury.

No one offers this anymore. NFL + used to have all the games and radio broadcasts but they just do not archive the radio broadcasts anymore. the nfl is terrible with the radio stuff. The games are out of synch unlike the mlb package which has all games home and away radio broadcasts in synch and archives them. why the nfl does not make this available I will never understand, audio files take basically no space and it’s simple to encode and archive.

I didn’t realize the giants are hosting the chiefs week 3 on SNF. the chiefs maybe rolling into New York 0-2 vs the 0-2 giants. They might win by 35. if daboll gets blown out in that game he and schoen are probably all done. One of them might not make it to Thanksgiving and both will be out after the season for sure.

They do this to get than insane value of the franchise jump. They will be worth multiple billions more if they build a stadium and that is the bottom line with these soul less corporate creeps. Talking about climate control and Fan comfort is the BS front they put out there.
