are you paying attention to this defense? The offense has to do something to protect it. They cant throw every down. Beane totally screwed the pooch this offseason finding talent on defense. The rest of the team has to pay the price for it. Everything the ravens do tonight the jets are going to try and do next week. So they need to figure this out quick.

they just dropped 7 on that third down. I bet after allen looks at the tablet, next time he runs that up the middle. there was nowhere to throw the ball and if allen doesn't threaten them with his legs they are just going to continue to do it.

to my untrained eyes it looks like the ravens offensive line made three mistakes on that drive and each time the bills had a free rusher. They finally got him down...well without a penalty anyway that is a good sign...they either can't hear or are confused early by the scheme.

A few overweight balding middle aged guys talking about strategy into commercial into wide shots of the stadium and a quick voice over intro from a half in the bag Pat summerall who would then throw it to a starving john madden. then the games would be great. No overproduction, over marketed build up, no botoxed bright white veneered jackasses telling us the key is running the ball for 3 hours. yes i am grumpy because I am prepping for a loss and the arrogant ravens to run their mouth's after.

Beane said on the pregame show that they signed prater because he used to be Beane's babysitter when he was little so he thought he would help him out. J/K he said he was a good fit essentially and can still kick. He did more talk about the salary cap and the gameday roster but nothing interesting.

its really a bad look. They talked him up at length all offseason. He has great size and ability and he is sitting and watching solomon. Maybe its a special teams thing but man, two guys suspended, three guys hurt and now a third round pick not being active is just a bad start. It's not like jackson was expected to start but its is really disappointing. this defense taking the field tonight might be worse than the one that finished the year.

if they have to pay him anyway why would they cut him? Trading him seems like the only play if he is healthy and not getting a gameday spot

Ravens 38 Bills 20 Its hard to protect two safeties and a starting corner. It's even harder when playing a veteran group on offense with no weakness.

Hoping the Giants pound washington today. Would be fun to see the rams beat houston also. Aaron Rodgers playing poorly would be very enjoyable also.
