He wasn't in a camp and in a few weeks, much like jordan phillips if things are not going the way they like with the young players they can add Poyer into the mix. I just don't understand if they were going to do this with Poyer why not just do it in the spring? They made a terrible signing in forrest, it could have been poyer all along. He could help young players more in the time period from april to August. Now the season is here and they need to prepare for opponents with all their time.

He plays both corner and safety. Sort of like their cam Lewis. Buffalo seems to be two or three deep with this type of player though.

Week one presents a real challenge though because Baltimore likes to play big with two tight ends and it will be really tough for Buffalo to play nickel as a base and have Johnson out there. I think the jets and pats are going to play big and just run the ball at Buffalo also. These are going to be big challenges for Buffalo. Hopefully they have a good plan for this.

Those are columnists and beat writers. I agree with you on that and like those guys. But if you are comparing Sal to those guys you are confused. Sal is not a columnist or a beat writer. He is the sideline reporter and team insider for WGR the official station of the Buffalo Bills. These are two very different jobs.

I really don't think there is one this year because they are in a real numbers crunch at corner, safety, interior line. The only guy i could see getting the axe and then being brought right back in a week or two is Gilliam but I highly doubt they do that. I think what they do with Strong, Green, Gilliam, Codrington, VanDermark today is really interesting.

cool. I like Sal and am an adult enough to know that he gets paid by WGR and is part of the Official Radio Broadcast of the team. That is part of it for anyone in that position. If they give you unlimited access essentially because you are always with the team you can not be giving out everything. If you want guys who scream and yell and complain about everything and who are negative 24x7 then you should go be a jets fan and listen to WFAN all day. That is all they do.

He is in fact the Bills Sideline Reporter for the Radio broadcast. He is an excellent source of information. He does his radio work in an informative and calm manner. I hear him deal with some of the dumbest people ever calling on the radio and he is nothing but kind and patient with them. I like Sal and I think he is one of the good guys.

First, none of those guys are beat writers. Second, I really like Sal. Sal is one of the good guys and gets grief for no reason at all. My personal opinion is just stay away from the big national shows on tv and radio because its just mostly nonsense especially when talking about football. Most of those people don't really have anything to talk about except Jerry Jones and the cowboys so its like a self serving thing. They love it and Jerry loves it.

I would just add that throwing the term media as an all encompassing thing is not fair. Teams local beat writers and columnists are generally intelligent and don't obsess over this stuff. Its the national tv people who are just there to yell and scream about everything that suck and we all should hate. I mean does anyone really care what Mike Greenberg or Mike Florio think about anything? Most of the tv talking heads filling time are not worth listening to with a few exceptions. Mina Kimes intelligence and level headedness is what tv sports analysts should strive to be. The problem is most of the tv talking heads are frat boy meatheads.

I’m pretty sure Micah was in frisco when the cowboys practiced this afternoon. the big story here today is that parsons doesn’t want to go anywhere else and has just recently moved his mom to the area. and diggs stupid brother today told the media that parsons doesn’t want to play anywhere else. the guy is going to sign this week as soon as Jerry feels like the timing is right for attention leading into the eagles game next Thursday.

Amari cooper signed with the raiders. Let’s hope we don’t give up a 3rd round pick for him again.

lol. Basically the coaches around the league are looking at a game in two weeks and are switching to game prep mode instead of evaluations and the ones with players holding out are probably freaking out that these great players were not going to be signed and ready to go.
