I think he is going to feel tremendous relief once the draft and mini camps are over. Right now the Diggs stuff still has not ended....he is not here and today allen and others still have to talk about him. Once they add another wr or two in the draft/free agency over the next 10 days there should be some clarity with the issue. The real relief is going to come when he gets to training camp and realizes its all football and no more odd distractions from Diggs. Then with the new guys it is going to be great for him and the team. after they win a few games the constant Diggs talk should die down even from the cult following this guy has in the fanbase and the media.

collins has a 1 year deal. So you are trading away a good young player and then next year at this time you are in a spot where you have to find a right tackle? that seems the opposite of the current mindset of the front office. I have to imagine they want this group of lineman to be together for this next run they are putting together. The spot that will change because of competition and maybe the draft will be left guard. Creating an issue at right tackle when the team has a whole bunch of other issues already seems very unlikely.

it really does not make any sense. Brown is a better player than collins at this point. Collins always has an issue of some kind and since that car accident and his hip injury he is essentially just a guy. Trading a player on draft day is also probably the worst time to ever trade a player. Players are valued lower than the draft picks this time of year. They have worked hard to have a good line and now they do and it has some depth with more coming next week. Weakening this group makes zero sense.

The only guy to ever really get close to being accurate was Rick Gosselin's day of the draft final mock because it was made up of what he was told from teams not him watching film. Instead of spending draft capital. I think a solid plan would be to go to Michael Gallup and give him a 1 or 2 year deal, he won't cost that much. He is similar to Gabe Davis and can step right into his role. This guarantees they have a big sideline guy to play the x. Gallup if healthy all year could have a very good year with this team. Then draft the Best player available at 28 and then again at 60. One of these two picks will be a wr. Then they will have some capable young veteran wr's and a young developing player in the wr room to go along with two good tight ends, a couple of good backs and a good offensive line. and most importantly they go into next year with an already capable team, a bunch of new cap space and 4 good picks. Those picks next year can turn into 4 young cheap players who put the team over the top. I hate the idea of trading away next years picks and I absolutely can not understand people willing to trade 60 to move up an then have no 2nd or 3rd rounder this year.

yea that is not a good trade. This team needs that 2nd round pick really bad. Dan Fetes had some ideas that make some sense today on buffalo plus but no team will go for it...He was trading 60 and next years 1st rounder to get another 1st rounder this year. so they would have 28 plus another first and no 2nd or 3rd. That seemingly will never happen and also trading away next years 1 is as crazy to me as not having 60 this year when they draft.

Cody Schrader. For whatever it is worth here is what Dane Brugler has to say about him. I think the team needs a power guy who plays physical. SUMMARY: A two-year starter at Missouri, Schrader was the bell-cow back in offensive coordinator Kirby Moore’s RPO, zone-based run scheme. After four years at Division II Truman State, he walked on at Missouri and went from seventh on the depth chart when he arrived in 2022 to leading the SEC in rushing in 2023. (He also became the first player in SEC history to record 200-plus rushing yards and 100-plus receiving yards in a single game.) There are different ways for running backs to force missed tackles, and Schrader’s weapons of choice are determined play speed, jackhammer feet and R-rated violence at contact — he forces defenders to match his effort on every snap. He gets stronger as the game goes on, as evidenced by the fact that he posted better yards per carry (7.1) and more first-down carries (23) in the fourth quarter than any other quarter last season. Overall, Schrader doesn’t run with desired tempo or elusiveness, but he is an attitude runner who sets the tone with his physicality and contact balance. There is a place in the NFL for his competitive run style and make-it mentality.

Absolutely no way in the world would this make sense. If they give up 60 in this draft they are nuts.

I am so sad about John Sterling retiring today. Not a fan of Justin Shackil and the other fill ins and Yankees baseball on the radio will never feel right again.

Elite WR are great. They win a lot of games in september and october. They have very little to do with winning championships. Giving away an entire drafts worth of important picks is total insanity. I 110% believe this team can win with 1 or 2 more good players at wr. They clearly need an X wr to play outside and someone who can make contested catches on the sideline would be great. Not important enough to burn two drafts on however. The same people dying to give away this year and next years draft for one of these top 10 wr will be the same ones complaining about the defense and depth of the overall team by the middle of the season. Just let the draft come to you and take BPA. There are plenty of wr in this draft.

I can not believe what people are willing to trade to move up for a wr. Its total insanity to me. They absolutely can not move this years 2 in any scenario that doesn't give them a 2 back and eating Diggs cap number and being in this situation I think dictates they keep that 2 next year from the trade. They need all the young affordable players they can get. I am hoping a EDGE rusher falls to them/a wr they like falls to them or they move back and get a 3 for this year or another high 4 and 5 for this year.

I love the idea of staying put or moving back a little and grabbing a third or early 4. I think it would be awesome if they stayed put and had some good luck like Jared Verse falling into their lap.

I would be a fan of the Bills doing something like Trading 28 & 160 to Washington for 36 and 67 taking Coleman at 36 and Balen Trice at 67 or Chop robinson if he falls at 36 and Troy Franklin at 67 or maybe Coleman at 36 and Javon Bullard at 67. Not sure why washington would want to do this however and Buffalo would lose that 5th year on the contract
