  1. Just downloaded dane brugler's beast draft guide. Going to actually start paying attention to the draft now. It seems wr are deep and plenty and with next years draft supposedly having more talent overall available it seems its the suckers move to trade up this year for a wr. I really hope they do not, I would in fact prefer they stay put at 28 and take the BPA and then move back from 60 to acquire a third. Then maybe package those 4ths and 5ths to get up again if they need to. Coming away with 4 contributing players seems like a necessary evil given the roster at the moment.
  2. I hope he works smart and gave his ailing body a much needed rest. This fan bases obsession with trying to tear down Josh Allen is exhausting.
  3. they are going to give him a record setting contract, cee dee lamb also and Dak prescott. I can't imagine lamb or parsons going anywhere. The cowboys whole identity is drafting in the first round and losing in the first round.
  4. He is now a second rounder. The Second round is where Felons and injured guys get drafted.
  5. Parcells wouldn't even address T.O. by his name in 06 after Jerry Jones signed him. The very first thing Owens did after signing was tell the media he is not available for Mini camp or offseason work in may because of prior commitments. Parcells must have been ready to quit on the spot but he stuck it out until the end of the year. Owens nearly got into a fight with assistant coaches and he overdosed on pain medication accidentally early in the year after getting injured in a game and Parcells would still not call him by his name! if the owners or head coaches let them get away with it these guys always keep going to see how far they can take it. I am so glad this is over in buffalo.
  6. those are numbers coming from an agent though, we have no idea what the contract is at this moment.
  7. I agree. All the backward hat youtube guys and the what do you think of this mock...(aka look at me I need attention) twitter guys would give up everything for a wr. I disagree completely with that. IF randy moss was there and u knew u were getting randy moss I could understand...otherwise you are hurting the organization spending all your draft capital on one player. Staying put or moving up a little or back a little is always the best move. More than 10 spots seems to expensive to me and doesn't make much sense given the state of the defense.
  8. I cant imagine that collins deal is much. I would imagine at best he is on the fringe of the end of the roster. If any undrafted guys or late round guys come along and outplay him in camp he will be toast. He has a history of being lazy and is always battling an injury. I believe he has some issues with his hip after his car accident a few years ago in Dallas.. I think that robbed him of a little of his abilities.
  9. I hope they take 160 and 133 and get into the third round somewhere this year. I also really hope they do not move this years 2nd under any scenario.
  10. yea he never would because he is not that guy but fair is fair and had Allen underthrown him we all know diggs would have been sure to point it out in his stupid shady way.
  11. after reading Dianna Russini say today that Diggs has been in contact with CJ Stroud and the texans players for over a month I wish Josh Allen would have publicly ripped diggs on the sideline after his absurd drop of a perfect pass in the most important moment of the year. He was always too nice with the guy publicly and I know that is his demeanor and its admirable but I think he is going to love never being in this type of position again with an ego maniac like diggs. that crap with diggs and his overrated brother last year made me mental. I really truly hope someone in the locker room said something but I bet since Diggs had the whole situation manipulated to where he can say whatever and no one can ever question him I bet no one did.
  12. by the time training camp starts they will have players capable of playing outside. This diggs trade is going to turn out great for buffalo. Training camp is going to be so much fun. No more drama and nothing but upside from young players all over the offense. Whoever they draft does not have to replace Diggs that is the big misconception here. The team is going to have all kinds of weapons. I have always said this and will always say this, WR are not what wins you championships, being a physically and mentally tough football team that can win on the road is what wins games. The defense is what is and has been holding up this team in the post season. I am not sure they have improved that this offseason and I am not sure McDermott is capable of it. I have zero worries about the offense. WR do not determine championships, if they did Steve Largent, Chris Carter, Tim Brown, Randy Moss, Julio Jones, Larry fitzgerald etc....would have the trophy case that Tom Brady, Bill Walsh, Chuck knoll etc... have. The bills just need a good young player who fits in with the team and will do his job and be a part of the team. I am already sick of hearing about replacing diggs production.
  13. its pretty clear the team wants young affordable and controllable talent at the money positions. trading for a wr that needs a contract and has played through his rookie deal would not make sense.
  14. whatever the bills do they know they can not trade this years 2. They have to have a second pick. The roster is not 1 rookie wr away from winning. they have to find some talent on defense and they need another running back, not to mention safety.
  15. seems like this is the guard backup...if he makes the team he can play tackle or guard in a pinch if someone is hurt. they now have a veteran who can back up at center and a veteran who can back up at guard tackle. the issue with collins is he is known to be lazy and has a hip issue.
  16. what it means is that the qb here will not have to asked about the former wr nonsense and weird online comments from his overrated brother. now qb1 gets to focus on his teammates without having to worry he might say the wrong thing about the delicate flower with a huge ego that used to make himself the topic. This is a great thing for this team and the faster fans realize this the better. A couple of young wr and samuel who is dying to be on a winner is going to change the atmosphere so much. This training camp is going to be great. meanwhile in Houston they are going to now handle a bunch of personalities that will vastly change their feel good underdog story. Now they are a super bowl team and should win a championship. If they don't they now have to manage those large ego's they added and when you don't win a championship with these types of guys they will tell everyone over and over its not their fault. The texans got old and expensive at a bunch of key positions, much different than last years team.
  17. whatever they do they can not move this years 2nd round pick. If and/or when the trading is done they had better still have this years 2 and 4.
  18. I just tweeted this to Dan Fetes...not that anyone cares. but the most on the nose thing here is this quote from the great Don Shula. "We will tolerate you until we can replace you" The bills know they have multiple ways to do that now and it was time.
  19. No thank you on beckham. no more old players and especially old players with enormous ego's.
  20. agreed. IMO young wr this year and moving miller next year allows them to be aggressive and sign a difference maker or two on the defensive line/offensive line.
  21. here is an outside the box idea. 28 and next years 1 to Dallas for CeeDee Lamb. Dallas has been dropping hints at not wanting to sign him long term with a possible rebuild next year with a new staff. He is a do everything wr, extremely arrogant but he plays all the spots, is a YAC guy .....but he needs a monster contract. A rookie allows them to next year spend money on defense.
  22. probably easier to make a deal for 9 with the bears...but those top wr's may not be there.
  23. I think I am going to go to the bills texans game in houston. It's going to be fun. Can't wait till Diggs talks crap about allen for the 6 month lead up to because that is what will get him the most attention.
  24. Michael Gallup would be a smart safety net here. He is big and basically a slower version of Gabe Davis. He was not used much last year but he is excellent with acrobatic catches on the sideline and is good at bodying people and going up and getting balls. I cant imagine he would get paid a lot. Sounds like he is visiting the steelers at the moment who are going to use him in the same way, big body x wr outside.
  25. man i just checked and backwards hat guy on youtube is deep in the analysis of this.
