  1. and now broaddus and the cowboys guys are saying Thomas has a hip issue also and they expect him to slide....Broaddus said he thinks Coleman goes before BJT because of the various issues.
  2. so apparently ed werder is with denver and he said they have 26 first round grades this year.
  3. Bryan Broaddus is mentioning that the vikings are of course trying to move up and that SF and GB are trying to move up. SF wants a Lineman and GB wants a corner. They are mentioning JC Latham to the chargers also.
  4. Bryan Broaddus here in Dallas said his sources told him Philly is trying to go up for a corner and Dallas is preparing to move back and may have something setup with washington and dan quinn already if it plays out where there o lineman are gone. he also said the rams are trying to get inside the top ten for Brock Bowers. they also just added Ayuk could be part of a deal to get above Dallas because they are after the same lineman...fwiw also sounds like Jimmy Johnson is going to be in the war room with the cowboys this weekend....and they are signing Zeke back.
  5. He looks the part for sure. If they do draft him I am going to be yelling "Pax Romana" in every thread since he is named after the roman empire and that Pax Romana was the 200 years of peace in the empire......he will bring peace to the wr room and the locker room...no more cryptic nonsense! so Pax Romana for Odunze
  6. I am fully down with trading back with washington if they have not moved up by 28. I bet they only give 40 and 78 though and buffalo would give 28 and 144 this allows them to take two wr, an O an D lineman, Corner, Running back and a kicker by the end of the weekend. if they blow out the whole draft for 1 wr I will see it as a major bummer. If they use next years 1 I will be sick. That is insanity for a wr. amen to that.
  7. Joe Buscaglia's final 7 round mock https://theathletic.com/5443330/2024/04/25/bills-mock-draft-2024-adonai-mitchell/?source=emp_shared_article
  8. there are lots of baseball players like this. this year marvin harrisons kid and jerry rices kid get a shot. I think next year emmitt smith's son will be in the draft after his senior year at A&M
  9. Collins can not play left tackle in any situation in 2024 on this team. He is at best the swing tackle on gameday and a possible replacement at left guard during the season if edwards is struggling. I am not convinced collins makes the final roster out of camp.
  10. one thing is for sure, tomorrow at this time there are going to be some aggressive teams doing really aggressively aggressive stuff. And when they are done backwards hat guy on youtube is going to hate everything they did. and no matter what somehow everything will work out for the chiefs and they will be even better by the end of the weekend.
  11. that whole athletic mock draft was kind of unrealistic. If they do anything like this for a WR he had better be among the leagues top wr in year one.
  12. that response doesn't really make much sense. Dan Fouts, Dan Marino and Warren Moon have no championships and they got in.
  13. there are a whole bunch of guys in the hall of fame who can say the exact same thing. probably best to admit the guy is pretty great.
  14. This is probably how it always is. I imagine there are very rare times there are 32 first round players. I am sure a bunch of players most teams dont see as 1st rounders will go in the first pushing some of their own 1st round guys back. also the fifth year option is huge.
  15. Im watching the cowboys draft show while I work...because of Bryan Broaddus and his contacts around the league. He thinks Buffalo will be aggressive....saying beane might get fired soon....that is nonsense....but anyway he mentioned again that KC is going to be aggressive and that Jacksonville is looking to take a corner. so that tells me Jax is not going to be interested in moving back and that Buffalo may be looking at a situation where KC jumps ahead of them for a WR or maybe an Offensive lineman.
  16. probably twitter nonsense but hey if the giants want a player they can move back for that can change the landscape a lot early thursday night.
  17. Going to be watching the Yankees-A's game while also watching the draft...haven't decided which network/broadcast I will watch yet. Bryan Broaddus has great info on draft day but I am hoping the buffalo plus folks do some live stuff too. oh and my wife is picking up food so I don't have to cook! probably some crappy north texas pizza
  18. OMG I have never read that thread before. Holy Cow. He will show up and you will recreate the situation with Diggs. Now Jefferson is the savior so jefferson has the defacto upper hand in the locker room. Now when there are close losses or playoff losses you are going to create the same scenario you had with Diggs......Hey its not me....I won a championship with Burrow....etc. etc... Bringing in a young player puts Allen where he should be in the hierarchy of the locker room without question. The team does not need wr saviors with a god complex and the most expensive contract on the team. They need excellent players who are great locker room guys and not pining for being the top paid guy at their position five minutes after they are here.
  19. wow. What are lamb and jefferson going to get?
  20. Joe Buscaglia's 56 prospects to consider and how they fit with the bills https://theathletic.com/5439869/2024/04/24/bills-nfl-draft-big-board-2024/
  21. michael gallup is the perfect 1 year replacement for gabe davis. Similiar players. Gallup has better hands and davis has better speed. he could help bridge the gap to another young wr next year. Get one this year and one next year.
  22. sal mocked worthy to buffalo at 28 https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/bills/capaccio-nfl-2024-mock-draft
  23. there is zero chance the Giants are moving to 28. Zero. I dont think they would do it if they were offered the bills next 3 first rounders
  24. The best part about thursday is that we will find out how the actual nfl teams view the players. Content creators have 4 months of screaming into the great big void about who wants what and where....then the actual draft comes and usually we find out very few of these people have a really accurate beat on how players are viewed. Teams have more info than the content creators and it always shows on the weekend of the draft. the best part is the freak out from these people about how team x could have taken player Y 2 rounds earlier over player Z....while never acknowledging that what they didn't know about player Z is he had both thumbs removed in the offseason and now has to catch the ball like a golden retriever. I look forward to that every year. Tomorrow around the league we should start to get a more accurate view of things. I heard bryan broaddus on the radio here in DFW today talking about how one of his GM friends said Latham, the O-lineman is viewed higher than most of the analysts are projecting and will be gone in the teens. FWIW he keeps talking about the chiefs and cowboys making a deal if Dallas's players are gone when they pick at 24 and he knows KC has the ammunition to move up and have some players targeted, he mentioned wr. anyway. I am completely against selling out this whole draft and the best part of next years for a wr.
  25. man if they give up a bunch of picks for thomas I do not view that as good management. If 60 is in the deal and they don't pick again until the 4th round then Thomas better be among the leagues best wr in a year or two. Feels like there are a number of Ol and Corners who are better overall players than thomas. thursday can not get here fast enough.
