The other backup Fortson made some big plays when he’s called on too. That’s why I don’t think TE was ever in KC’s draft plan this year.

Chiefs WRs actually don’t get a lot of separation. What you see on TV is partly Reid’s schemes and partly Mahomes running around extending plays causing defenders to leave their assignments. Especially when he scrambles toward the los. That long TD McKinnon had at Denver is a prime example of this. Something I hope to see more from Allen and the Bills.

Unpopular opinion here but I agree with you that there is a gap between Bills compared to Cincy and especially KC. Regardless of reasons those teams have made it to superbowls. Bills have not. Be it offense, defense, coaching, injuries whatever. Bills have came up short and that’s the gap. I’m very optimistic about this draft and all the offseason moves so I do believe the gap has narrowed. Disagree with you here. Chiefs are the top team.

No surprise at all. Not a position of need for KC. Kelce has a few years to go and there’s a couple of promising guys in the stable.

Right on. He’s not a fan of the Bills so that argument is expected. The Jets improved with Rodgers but I don’t think it’s enough to win the East. Allen is still the best in the division and Bills should win it. Getting the #1 seed will be alot more difficult though.

Evaluating players is such a subjective process. There will always be talent that drops to later rounds. Not sure if Beane is able to identify WR talent given his track record.

Just as ridiculous as ‘he’s the best in the NFL’ narrative early last year when there were two guys that accomplished more in his own conference. Lesson here is who cares about media narratives. Go out and win.

This argument falls flat with Mahomes because he has been to the Superbowl 3 times and won 2 of them. Winning the division is just a stepping stone to the ultimate goal. So can’t knock a guy that’s already proven.

Especially when the Bills hasn’t earned that lofty expectation last year. It was very annoying and in the end the team ultimately crumbled under pressure. Hope it was a lesson for all not to be hyped by headlines. Let your accomplishments on the field dictate expectations.

I watch a lot of Chiefs games and I can say without a doubt that laminated poster is a burgers menu! He has one (or 5) delivered after every game.
