  1. I’m hoping Bills show up and make a game of it. Win or lose just be competitive. Getting blown off the field again would not be good for this place.
  2. Bills won’t be favored by game time. It will switch Bengals -2 by Sunday.
  3. I think more people rather see a Chiefs loss.
  4. Somehow hits different when there’s hardware involved. Both team’s and individual’s.
  5. Still bad to me. I watched the Dolphins/Pats game and just couldn’t believe Bills made Mac Jones looked like a competent qb. He really isn’t at all.
  6. I watched the game. Denver was definitely hyped for this. Losing 16 in a row has to be bad for their psyche. I banked on that fact and took Den +7. Comfortable win.
  7. Looks like he didn’t get his nuggies.
  8. Agreed. He’s their anchor in the middle against the run. I honestly think Balt will end up with the #1 seed.
  9. I think it’s too much of a hurdle for the Bills to get the #1 seed. Let’s hope they can get by the Bengals next week. Lose that and it’s back to barely above .500.
  10. They finally lost a road division game with Mahomes. They’re doomed.
  11. How effective can he be though. Especially in all that snow. Denver’s defense has been playing better lately.
  12. Just heard Mahomes is not 100%
  13. No matter what Cincy does this week it’s a must win for the Bills next week to keep momentum going. Losing next week would keep the narrative of an inconsistent team that’s barely .500. Also would be a mental boost for the team to prove they can beat the Bengals.
  14. It was a lot better than it has been since the Miami game. They need to beat Cincy next week to show they can compete with the big boys this season.
  15. One good game in the books. Another one and he’s going in the HOF!
  16. Bills win. That is all.
  17. Unfortunately, Bills are not the Chiefs. Kyle Brandt said it best and I agree with that take.
  18. It’s a team game where the qb is the leader of the team responsible for most or all of its points. Allen’s overall stats may be similar to Mahomes thus far this season but their performances have not been the same. Allen accrued a lot of those stats in the blowout wins against the Fins and Raiders. He struggled against the Jets, Jax, NYG, and Pats losing 3 of those games. The Chiefs offense, while working in new receivers, have not struggled as much in their games as the Bills have and still managed to win 6 out of 7 games. No one that has watched both teams so far this year will say Allen has been as good as Mahomes if they’re being objective.
  19. Where are you seeing ‘fans’ suggesting we trade him? There was one guy that said it sarcastically like he had in other Allen threads but no one else from what I’ve seen. But I’m only on page 8 lol.
  20. So you think Allen is closer to Jackson and Hurts than he is to Mahomes? Because I don’t…so those two are not on my radar for Allen’s comps. Allen’s comps should be Mahomes and Burrow if he’s who we think he is. Comparing him to two ‘running’ qb’s like Jackson and Hurts is a disservice imo.
  21. I think in the rushing attempts context he is like Mahomes. Able to scramble and pick up chunks of yards. Just don’t hurdle and truck people.
  22. That’s why I said ‘about’. Mahomes is 33 and Allen is 29 in week 7. There’s a lot of games left. At this pace they’ll both be in the 60s-70s by year’s end. Having him doubled Mahomes’ attempts last year is not sustainable for a qb. That’s what the coaching staff is try to do…sustain him for the long term.
  23. ‘Same ***** different day’ - Josh Allen
  24. He’s about where Mahomes’ rushing attempts are. You want your elite qb to beat teams with his arm and mind not his legs. He isn’t a rb. Mahomes maximizes his rushing attempts by picking up chunks of yards on crucial plays. There’s no reason Allen can’t do this and no reason the coaching staff wouldn’t want him to do this. They just want him to avoid contact as much as possible.
  25. Tiger won Majors at that point so not the same. It’s more like Phil with whatever he was doing before his first major win. The fact that they have huge egos is why they should’ve been focused since they haven’t won anything noteworthy in their professional careers. You can tell Diggs wants it so badly every game. He knows what’s at stake.
