11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread

Fun 2 weeks! -
Tell that to Butker.
-
Making their husbands happy should be high on a woman’s priority list as well.
-
I’m with you. I really don’t get how some fans can make comments like that and actually believe it. I think the Bills will get one with Allen. Just like how Indy and Pittsburgh did during NE’s reign. But to say that the Bills will rattle off multiple SB wins to start their own dynasty at this point in Allen’s 7th season? That’s a stretch.
-
If you need a poll to tell you what a legitimate NFL dynasty is then you haven’t watch football long enough or simply haven’t paid enough attention. The current dynasty in KC was not considered that until they won their third Super Bowl last year. It was the coronation of them being an official dynasty.
-
For most, me included, a dynasty has to include 3 Super Bowl wins within 4-7yr span. Dolphins and Cowboys were great teams in the 70s but the true dynasty was the Steelers. Just like the ‘00 Steelers were not a dynasty even though they won 2 amidst the Patriots dynasty. The only one that was borderline on your list would be Washington. But their championships were too spread out while being book ended by 2 legitimate dynasties in the 49ers and Cowboys. 70s Vikings? 90s Bills? C’mon. Making it to the big game 4 times is a major accomplishment. Not winning at least 1 is a major failure. Great teams but not even close to being a dynasty.
-
I see where you’re getting at with this. But the historical facts are since the Super Bowl era there has been 1 dynasty for every decade. I can’t see that changing to 2 dynasties per decade right? By definition of dynasty alone would prohibit such a thing with only 10yrs per decade. So if it continues to be 1 dynastic team per decade than nothing has changed since the Superbowl era started. Interesting topic.
-
I did say since I was a little kid. I wasn’t around in the 70s haha. But yeah they’d be there. So would the 60s Lombardi Packers.
-
I think he has. That first AFCCG against Brady and the Pats. Lost in OT without seeing the ball. That must have been crushing at that time for them.
-
It was reported that his house and Kelce’s house were robbed on the same night a few weeks ago. That night they played TB.
-
It depends on your definition of ‘rare’. To me, a football dynasty has happened every decade since I was a little kid so that’s rare to me. That’s 5 teams since the 80s. SF, Dal, NE, and now KC. That’s not very many teams in 50yrs.

Wow. This came out of nowhere. Have to admit it has been rough for them this year on the injury front.

If everyone is betting KC the line would’ve moved towards pick ‘em. It’s holding steady. -

Yes they did. KC has proven that they can do it. Bills? Not so much. That’s why there’s still doubt nationally. -

Hard to blame you. We have playoffs ptsd that has caused a lot of self doubt. Haha. As for the Lions, I’m not so sure they’re some kind of juggernaut. I’d be confident with the Bills against the Lions on a neutral field. Say that field in NO! -

Yeah he was one of the few pundits that said Bills would still win the East this year. Kudos to him for being somewhat objective with the Bills. Or it might have been he really hates Rodgers and all the Jets hype. Haha -

He’s been doing it all season. It’s kinda weird. Not used to him praising the Bills or Allen. -

I think there will be a healthy dose of Hardman jet sweeps this Sunday to supplement KC’s run game. -

He has started out great but they’re overusing him. He was really slow this past game. Without Pacheco I don’t think he’ll do much against the Bills this Sunday. -

Wait for halftime when Bills will inevitably be up by double digits to bet on KC. Chance of winning $ and have the home team win the game! Win win. -

To this point I really hope Cincy doesn’t sneak in as the 7th seed. That would not be a fun wildcard weekend. -

Definitely. That Denver game wouldn’t have been close if he hit a couple of those TD opportunities. -

This is pretty much their game plan every week. Long methodical drives that eat up TOP. Their LT is too vulnerable for any type of deep passing plays. This is also the main reason why their games have been close.
